Recently I moved to Norco and was excited to find out they had a branch nearby in Riverside. I loaded up my CRV glass and plastic and headed towards their yard. When I got there , I found the customary barrels pulled a couple over to my truck and started to unload my glass. Before I got too far along in my unloading, one of the workers came over and said we don't take CRV glass or plastic here. I was shocked. If you take c r v aluminum , you have to take the other materials I always thought. Apparently not so.

I weighed them before I brought in so I know what it should have been, but no arguing with them. I'd just avoid this place altogether if you are trying to make a few bucks in your pocket. They often refuse to take wine bottles at the Alessandro location of Sunset Recycling Center. I got…read moreinto a shouting match with the recycling center's employee and manager (Manny). They said THEY DIDN'T HAVE ROOM for my bottles and they expected me to go away! This was the THIRD time the bottle return has been refused. I finally, after complaining loudly, got them to accept the bottles. How outrageous is this? All for TEN DOLLARS! SHAME! The State of California forces you to pay a bottle deposit fee but then, refuses to return the fee if you return the BOTTLE. Just OUTRAGEOUS! I filed a complaint with the state of California. We were unaware that they close at 2pm on Saturdays. We usually come early during the week. But today we were surprised to see that they allowed us to drop off our goods and even helped me unload. Another lady showed up during this time and they also accommodated her too, what a great way to do business, customer first. We have been coming here for years because no one else beats their prices, even without a coupon there prices are always paying better. Don't be fooled by the location it's a well run machine, and the employees are fantastic.

Fast forward to 2026 I know most of the drivers, and we talk occasionally every week. They value their customers and some of the drivers even love to talk to their customers and if someone was late to take out their cans, if there in range and noticed the drivers will turn around and get it no questions asked.
