After being on the phone with Abby yesterday, she went through pricing and everything with me told me there was a seven-day free trial and at the end of that then if you decide to go ahead and join after the trial they process your credit card. I told her I was coming in today and I did. However she wasn't there. After listening to the new girl tell me all the rates and the different beds Etc, I agreed to the $79 package and as I'm swiping my card to get it on record in the event that I continue this after the week, it started to charge me right then. She got on the phone with her manager or the owner who apparently told her without the code I couldn't get the 7-Day trial even though her fellow employee, showed her where the codes were that she could just type in. But apparently the owner said no. I will not do business with anyone who does those types of tactics. Not only did they lose a potential customer but my friend was going to do this with me as well so they lost 2 potential customers just because of their failing to follow through with what they told me on the phone. Very poor business practice. Will never come back!!! read more

Didn't care for the service never had a spray tan before they acted like I should know exactly what I was doing. Told me there was hair nets and baby wipes inside. There wasn't any so once I realized I needed wanted to tan had already started. High school kids working there but don't really care maybe the owners should spend more time there. read more

I am completely OBSESSED with this tanning salon! When I go in, I literally spend all day there. I start with the Hydration bed that helps hydrate my skin and prep it for tanning, then I hit up their custom tanning bed that scans my melanin levels to tell me how long and what type of bulbs to use (Smart bed) then I do a Facial with their Lumia, I whiten my teeth and then hit the spray tan booth where I completely customize my color with specific shades, boosters, enhancers and scents. Start my day off here most mornings after I work out, for a little fine tuning with the hydrotherapy and fit wraps, and I am really happy about the results! I am fair skinned and the "Smart tanning beds" are amazing in NOT frying my delicate skin. The person that has stood out to me the most in my 8 month membership is Elyse, the front counter person early in the morning, she's so sweet, and very informative with therapy and product recommendations. I have lived in (south) Orange County for almost two years now, tanning at various "upscale" tanning salons.... & iTAN is the only one that had exceeded every single one of my expectations. One of my girlfriends actually recommended this salon to me. My very first visit to iTAN - San Clemente went very well. I was greeted by extremely kind & knowledgeable employees! I simply wanted to start my base tan for the Spring/Summer. I was having skin irritation a few weeks prior to my first visit, so I was timid as to what my exposed my skin to. It turns out that I have psoriasis & iTAN actually has skin treatments for people like me. One of the employees gave me the grand tour of the place & was able to relate to my skin irritation issues, allowing me to feel comfortable right off the bat! I ended up getting the "Spa & Tan" package they have to offer. I pay $80 a month for the two with the ability to use all spa & tanning machines. So reasonable! Before becoming a member, I was paying (almost) up t0 $110.00 for just a simple tanning package in O.C. I am so happy I have become a member of iTAN. Why doesn't Yelp let us use more than 5 stars?! Let me start by saying I have been tanning for about 6 years on and off. My very first salon was itan and I didn't know how good I had it! I had to leave for school and there was no salon even comparable to itan where I was! Then when I came back home, my friends recommended another salon they go to and I gave it a shot and was not impressed. I eventually ended back up at itan and have never been happier!! The owner has been the same person for all these years, she's sweet, caring, and remembers everyone! The girls are nice and knowledgeable and the most important to me is that the salon is SO clean and kept so well. Everyone is on the same page about rules/regulations, cleaning, knowledge.. ive even been to other itan locations and this is hands down my favorite. I will recommend it forever!! I'm a very busy person, I'm pale, and I was very skeptical about tanning salons. At Itan, Aubree never used high-pressure sales tactics, but because of her informed explanations, she convinced me to try ITan out. There are so many services offered. Aubree (and the other "girls", as well as Christina) have always been very professional, attentive and courteous. Aubree has advised on how to get a natural-looking tan for my fair skin. She has explained the benefits of red-light therapy, far infra-red, helping to rid the body of toxins and how to aid in getting rid of cellulite and those nasty stubborn fat cells. Right now, my favorite is Lumiere (last week it was the Hydro bed, and the week before it was the Fit Wrap). Lumiere is incredibly relaxing, and after doing it twice, my husband asked what I was doing different because my skin looked so young. Besides the benefit of anti-aging, there is the added plus of having a wonderful, relaxing experience. I think these young women must be exhausted after a day's work, because they are constantly cleaning and recleaning to make sure everything is completely sanitary. And it is. Every 'girl' has had a genuine, caring attitude. They are models of good customer service, they work extremely hard to satisfy every customer. I look healthier and more vibrant (which I needed!), and its an entirely pleasant experience that I always look forward to. Well worth the money. She was the most disrespectful employee I have encountered and one of the pushiest people I have met. I first came into iTan looking to replace the salon I was currently using. What I found was so above and beyond my expectations, I immediately signed up for the full membership. For crazy affordable fees (that are super flexible) you receive not only extensive tanning options, but access to a true "Day Spa." My personal favorite spa treatment is the Lumiere red/blue light facial (noticeably improves my skin!) Beyond the "bang for your buck" offered at iTan, is the the quality of service one receives every single visit. Sooooo, when I first came in here my intention was to do a one timer and prepared to say no-no-no to the high pressured sales I've always come across at OTHER tanning chains. I had no idea what they offered nor was prepared for the kindness received. I feel in LOVE with the face I could come here not only for for my sprays and tans but to lay in relaxation in a spa like sauna or sweat out toxins for an hour while I watch my favorite Netflix show to facials focusing on my dark spots. My favorite part about this membership is that it's literally affordable secondly, the owner, Christina is often working AND will take the extra time to make sure you are properly lotions and prepped and just approachable. This spa is my favorite! It's beautiful, professional, they have all the latest equipment... They of course have top quality tanning equipment , spray tans (not like the experience ROSS had in that "Friends" episode) , fit wraps, some steam contraption with blue lights... Magical... DO NOT GO HERE, they are a rip off! Not only does this salon charge an exorbitant rate for a tan, which is much lower at multiple other local spots, if you sign up for their monthly plan beware. I tried to cancel multiple times after I moved away and the charges kept appearing on my credit card. I was finally connected to the owner today and she essentially called me a liar because her "girls" would never mess up a cancellation. She refused to refund me any money for the months since I tried to cancel and now I am dealing with the corporate office to try to get my money back. An absolute NIGHTMARE. read more

This is an Amazing sun/spa boutique!!! I came in to tan and left with a newly found spa! The membership I purchased would have been worth it's price for the tanning alone. Instead I have unlimited access to all of the spa--fit wraps, steam treatments, Lumiere facials. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. These are state of the art, self service machines that are so effective and so relaxing! The spa and tanning beds are pristinely clean. I started going here 2 months ago.. They're very reasonably priced for the quality of services they provide.. They have these cool beds that help tighten skin and cool stuff like that.. Super clean.. It's been a week since my first ever air brush spray tan. It still looks great and I get tons of compliments. My friends can't figure out what the difference is - so much fun. I look like I just returned from a vacation in the Caribbean. All the girls at ITan are fun, energetic and friendly. Amber was very professional on walking me through the air brush routine. She definitely has an eye for the right color combinations. I have pale skin with ruddy undertones. She mixed mocha bronzer into the light tan to offset the reddish tone of my skin. I have never looked so tan, relaxed or blended on my skin tone. I will definitely be coming back and doing this again. I have also tried the Lumiere - my skin looked great after it. It was hard to pick from less reddish, less wrinkles or clearer skin - wish they had a lotion for all 3 but it means I will be back again to do it. Everyone should try the all the services here - the air brush spray was a great addition to all that is offered. read more

My second home! After I had my first baby I was pretty down emotionally. My husband bought me a membership there to try and lift my spirits. When I went in there for the first time everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Every consultant was very helpful when I was lost not knowing how anything worked. I started just by tanning in the sun side and then fell in love with the place when I added the spa treatments. I came out feeling healthy and confident. This place really helped me find my confidence again and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend iTan to anyone and everyone. This is my first bad Yelp. I have been a good customer of I Tan for a couple years. I had 79 to 99 dollars taken out of my checking account monthly for 2 years to pay for their spray tans . Unfortunately I needed to put a hold on my monthly tanning as I was out of town for awhile. I went in to renew my membership and the girl didn't know how to set up my account so she said I will just give you a free spray and for me to come back and see a manager. I went in today March 10th and spoke with a manager who was very unpleasant saying I needed to pay 20 for the supposed free tan and 5 dollars a month for 8 mos that my account was on a freeze. I asked if they could waive the fees and the manager said "absolutely not". She said the computer wasn't programmed to waive fees. Ok maybe next time they will figure out how to waive the fees because I will never go back and never send referrals. I've sent many referrals to them in the last 2 years. I was prepared to give them another 80 to 100 dollars a month for a few more years but no, they try and nickle and dime you and try to upsell at every turn. This place is mismanaged and not the same place I signed up with years ago. You can tell by their high turnover of employees. Read every word of their contract before you sign . Not a pleasant place , stay away and go to Palm Beach Tan on Pico. Nicer atmosphere. read more

Facility and staff will blow your mind how amazing they are. I have been a member for two years and the one expense I will not let go of to keep coming. The staff is constantly working and maintaining flawless clean facility. The options that you'll get here is more then any other place for an unlimited monthly membership. All the equipment is absolutely up to date and fully functioning at all times and if anything ever needs maintenance it's done immediately. It's a no bull crap environment and always someone to help at the front desk and over the he phone. I cannot possibly rave enough about the staff as they are the most pleasant, personable, helpful and knowledgeable individuals consistently throughout the two years I've come. Kudos to management for selecting amazing individuals as that was half the reason why I've always kept coming. I would highly highly recommend it he unlimited membership if you're into fitness in health and take advantage of fitwrap, hydropod, angel in addition to tanning spraying and the facial. Literally huge bonus as I found it not available anywhere when traveling especially in one place. This is one place in California that I would give 10 out of 5 review and a must have in your life. read more
