I've visited FacialWorks twice now. First visit was for the hydrofacial. Spa is clean, equipment & treatment was nice, my skin looked & felt cleaner after the treatment. However, there is no hand massage, head massage, arm massage or any extra services. If you want that you have to pay extra for it. For the price of the facial I expected a more elevated treatment. Second visit I did the peel, I asked for a head massage to be added. Facialist said ok no prob but then didn't do it. The treatment is very quick, felt a bit rushed. The staff up front are courteous, but not overally friendly or helpful. Overall it's a nice spa but there is no personalized customer service. They rush you in and out to get to their next customer. read more

I've been debating getting a facial now for awhile and I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment with some friends. We each had the hydrafacial at the facial bar and it was great! If you check in on yelp you can also get a free enhancement! The girls were really friendly and it was a relaxing experience! My skin feels great. My friend and I enjoyed it so much we actually bought the 3 pack so we can come back. The location is in ocean ranch in between Panda Express and pier one. Parking was easy on Sunday afternoon. I went to Facialworks to treat myself and get a little pre-holiday facial and am so glad that I did! Immediately upon entering I got greeted and was offered something to drink (water, tea, coffee, or champagne!) The space is very nice looking, clean, with a few chairs in the front for the bar facials, which is what I got. We decided that the Signature Glow Like Woah facial would best fit my skin needs, as I was looking for extra help with my dark spots. My esthetician was super nice and told me all the steps and products she was using during my facial. It felt very relaxing and lasted about 45 min. Afterwards, my skin is glowing! I had never been to FacialWorks before, but when I booked my appointment I was thoroughly excited the entire week due to the fact that they have oxygenated facials...uhm YES!! It was a little hard to find, I parked on the Cineopolis side and had to walk through to the back side of the plaza. It's between Panda Express and Pier 1! As soon as I walked in I noticed how SPOTLESS the place was. It was so clean and welcoming, the products were lined perfectly on the shelves (which is the kind of thing I notice being the manager of a beauty supply store) and the shelves themselves were clean. Nothing seemed out of place or dirty, and they had clearly labeled containers for clean implements and dirty implements/trash (also something I notice being a cosmetologist). Ellie was my esthetician for my bar facial! I got the HydraWorks (for dry or "lack luster" skin) and my husband got the ClearWorks (for acne prone skin). She has the best hands when she's doing her thing, strong but gentle at the same time. She was very knowledgeable about all the products FacialWorks offers and spent time going into detail about the specific ones she was using on me, what ingredients are in them and what they would do for my skin! She was always asking me if the pressure she was using was okay and if I needed a blanket during the cooling globes and oxygen infusion since it gets pretty cold (WHICH BTW THE COOLING GLOBES ARE SO AWESOME IT MADE ME GIGGLE). FacialWorks is kind of like a blow dry bar but for facials (awesome!) where you sit in reclining chairs and get your service done. It's totally different than anything I've ever experienced in the world of facials bc it's more talkative and social, there's TV's and more peppy music than the average spa music and quiet dark environment (and I much prefer this kind of service now that I've received it!!) They have different facials to suit all types of skin which they will go over in a consultation to determine which one you need. They also have a private room for more in depth facials that are more one on one if you're not comfortable with the "blow dry bar" type thing. I ended up buying the Liquid Moisture (which is pure hyaluronic acid; it absorbs 1000x it's weight from moisture in the atmosphere) since Ellie used it on me during my facial and I fell in love with it! I'll for sure be back for more facials and to also buy the cleanser from the ClearWorks line for my hubby!! Overall my experience was top notch, 10/10, 5 stars, fantabulously amazing!!! I highly recommended FacialWorks as a whole and definitely recommend you booking with Ellie as she's amazing and treats all of her clients like they're the most important people in the world! read more

Jessica did excellent job accommodating the treatment based on my skin concerns so that she could take care of my skin well. I had O2 Power Facial with lift work enhancement in a private room. Came here the other day with my mom and we both got the Hydroworks facial ($50 at the bar). They start off by offering beverages (water, champagne). The facial was about 40-45 minutes and you get to choose the type of facial based on your skin type (hydra / age / clear). Overall, I think it's a really cool concept!
