Have been going to Lorrie Klein for a few years now for Botox & filler (Juvederm, Restylane & Voluma). She is knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, I've gotten excellent results! She has a vein finder to minimize bruising which is great around the eyes where I used to always bruise. The lip filler experience is also such an easy, breezy procedure with her freeze spray can:). Dr. Klein is conservative and listens well to what your beauty goals are so no worries about going too far, etc... The office staff is wonderful also. I called as a new patient as they accept my insurance based on approved providers to have pre-cancerous spots looked at as my insurance changed and I have to find a new dermatologist. The woman who answered the phone was so unhelpful. She suggested that I take their tax ID. and call my insurance to confirm if they are in network. (check it out on the website) I am a long time customer of the OC Derm professional team and when I was given advise to try this new laser treatment for tightening skin, I jumped on the chance to try it. It is simple procedure - numbing gel was effective to ward of discomfort and no down time....like' NO downtime. It is too soon to see the results in action although I feel confident I will sparkle with my refreshed skin. This place has horrible service. Do not go to them. The last 2 times I have been here I have waited over 30 minutes to just see the doctor. Also the girls at the front are so rude and could care less about you! The last time I was here I waited 45 mins and then the doctor cut me off mid sentence and talked to me for 10 minutes and then pushed me on my way. She prescribed me 2 things and I had no idea what they were for. I called the next day and the girls told me to take the pills cause nancy told me too. They didn't help me at all! Before any type of service, I met Dr. Klein for an evaluation for $75. She was nice through the evaluation and i was out of the door in about 10-15 minutes. I asked about the services they provided and also my general concern for my skin. She claimed that they will be able to help me. Since I was thinking about only parts of my face (acne scars on cheeks), etc, she was coming up with pricing according to the parts that needed the treatment - this was basically her way of reeling me in. :) Also, the only procedures she performs are the cancerous mole stuff. Since I was going in for acne scars and laser hair, I was told I would get an RN. On my second visit, I got a Physician's Assistant. Now I don't know how close that is to an RN, but, I figured it is different enough to have a different title. :) On my third visit, I spoke to Barbara about acne scars. After evaluating my skin closely, she recommended that I should not do fraxel laser as my skin bruises easily. This came off as a surprise because in my initial evaluation with Dr. Klein, she had mentioned that they could try fraxel laser to see if my skin will like it, but if I end up getting bruised, she will try a laser on top to remove the dark spots. Barbara strongly urged me to not even try it because my skin will likely get dark spots (which takes years to disappear ). :( My next few visits were with Ava. She was just as helpful as Barbara and didn't try to sell stuff or push procedures on me. I am sure all (including Dr. Klein) know about the potentials and risk factors of these treatments but only only a handful are careful and show great concern. Others are open to try out the new procedure and if it doesn't work, to correct it by a different procedure which I think is a waste of time and $$. If you are thinking of trying this place, don't be shy in asking for an evaluation first, and then see which procedures will work for you. Also, do some research before you go. :) read more

I am very disappointed as I really did not want to write this review. Let me start by saying that Dr. Klein knows what she is doing. That being said, unfortunately, she has ZERO consideration for her client's time. I have seen Dr. Klein a total of 2 times. Between these 2 times there have been 3 appointments that I have scheduled and she has cancelled the day before. Please keep in mind: Dr. Klein only works between 9am and 4pm on weekdays only. I work 45 mins away from her office and every time I schedule an appointment I need to take half day off. I always schedule in advance (1 month at least) to make sure I have the day off and her schedule is clear. 3 times Dr. Klein's office called me the day before my appointment saying that Dr. Klein had a personal matter to attend to and had to cancel the appointment. This has happened 3 times. So it took me 5 appointments to be able to see Dr. Klein 2 times. Unacceptable. I also want to add that Dr. Klein during one of the 2 appointments told me (when I schedule an appointment) to tell the reception desk that the Dr. is available for an earlier or later appointment and will accommodate my schedule. So I did. Response from the reception desk: "Oh, yes, Dr. Klein says that but then she cannot really do it". HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Does the doctor and the reception desk communicate about what to tell clients? Sorry, Dr. Klein, I don't feel you respect my time, value my business, nor care about me as a client. I will go and spend my money elsewhere! read more

Dr. Klein is an exceptionally talented, caring, and professional doctor. She can take one look at me, and know exactly what to do to enhance my appearance. What I really appreciate about her is that she does not "over sell" her services. Instead, she listens to what my priorities are, and my budget is, then works backwards. I have been going to Dr. Klein for years now. Started with sun damaged skin and over time have done many differnet laser treatments, a liltle Botox, etc. My skin has improved tremedously and she literally erased years of sun worshipping. Im not ready (nor want) a facelift but Dr Kleins procedures are enough to perk you up. I recently had filler done under my eyes and its amazing. Its still ME but I just look a little less tired.The techniques her and her staff use are so precise, its phenominal. Ive had a number of spas do Botox for my crows feet but Janets skill is like NO OTHER. No bruising, and always in the right spot (not fake or paralyzed looking). Its very reassuring to know that these ladies know there stuff. Especially when its your face. Dr. Klein is always up on the latest technology which is very reassuring as well. I think her costs are on par with the market and I appreciate that she never tries to push products on me.
