I have been coming to Skin Sync since they opened on Del Mar. The treatment staff are all incredible and I always get a warm welcome when I come to my appointments. Rosa and Kate have an amazing touch! The skin care products are so Velvety smooth and have lovey fragrance. I highly recommend coming in if you want to do non surgical face or body treatments to maintain youthful skin read more

My experience was AMAZING--best facial I've had to date.... hands down!! My esthetician was so caring, very detailed, explained everything, and when the facial was done my skin was glowing! read more

I purchased the $69.99 facial special that I found on Facebook. While the facial itself was decent, the overall experience left me disappointed. The service was advertised as a one-hour facial, but the actual facial lasted only about 45 minutes. The final 15 minutes were spent on an extremely high-pressure sales pitch for skincare products. The girl repeatedly tried to sell me a $399 eye cream and used several tacky sales lines such as telling me that "all of my friends would be jealous." When I declined, she was very aggresive and began adding incentives, including face wash and what she described as a "coupon that's like gold." After I continued to say no, she brought out a box of the eye cream that had a small crinkle in one corner of the box and claimed she could discount it from $399 to $299 because of the damaged packaging. The crinkle was barely noticeable, and the whole interaction felt sleazy. Did anyone else get the damaged box line? Once it became clear that I wasn't going to purchase anything, she seemed frustrated. At checkout, she tried to say that I had additional services that I had never had. When I pointed out that I had only booked the promotional facial and had no additional services, she dropped it. I'm not sure what she was trying to do there. To be fair, the facial itself was decent, and I don't want to criticize the esthetician's technical skills. However, the aggressive sales tactics and attempted upselling overshadowed the experience. If I were the esthetician, I would be concerned about the impact this business model could have on her professional reputation & repeat customers. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. read more

Kate did my deep cleansing and facial treatment. She was excellent. All products and techniques were explained to me, and it was very soothing, and Kate was easy to work with. After tipping her, I was ready to leave, but was stopped by a young salesgirl who said, "Sit down here. I want to introduce you to our other products." I explained I was happy with the concentrated eye cream I purchased already ($350. !) (The facial was complimentary since I had purchased the product.) I felt pressured, and had to firmly say no thank you to end it. The topper was when a lady at a desk asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I told her I had already tipped Kate, and she was annoyed, trying to tell me that's not how it's done. I should have gone through her. What complete BS! I have always tipped the provider directly, and that's how it is done. I wouldn't recommend the place. read more

I came across this somehow on IG and I had the most amazing facial done. I have been to some nice places before but this one takes the cake. From the great double cleanse, to the steam and using different products and my fav was the facial part where it smelled amazing and I got a scalp massage and neck and shoulders. The studio was very clean and I already made my appnt to go back! The experience was awesome overall from the front desk girl, to my nurse, and the manager. Everyone was awesome read more

Continues to be amazing. The products, staff and facials. Highly recommend. Best place in the area

I went in for the $69.99 advertised deal but it's was not the type of facial that is suggested. It's just a normal facial with cleaning and serum. Not bad but certainly not all that they stated and it certainly is not a $350 level facial which they say is the normal price. I've had those at Burke Williams and The Montage and this is not that! You end up getting half your face with a laser product that they aggressively want you to buy on the spot for $2500. Just half so you can see how great it works. The deal makes it sound like that's included for the entire experience. It is not which is odd. I want a relaxing experience and this was not. The gal who did the facial was young and kind. She meant well but this place, in my opinion will not work for long in San Clemente. I hate a negative review but this felt like a scam. read more

I'm usually very skeptical about cosmetic products and rarely use them. I used to struggle with very dry skin on my face. While scrolling through Facebook, I came across a promotion for a full facial for $69.99. Even though I was still skeptical, I decided to give it a chance. When I arrived for my facial treatment, it was performed by an aesthetician named Rosa. The treatment was originally supposed to last 50 minutes, but they were so kind and generous that they extended it to 70 minutes. After the treatment, I sat down with Leo for a consultation. He took the time to explain everything in great detail with professionalism and patience, making sure I understood exactly how to use the products properly. As a man, I never thought I would be using skincare products or getting facial treatments. Thanks to Leo's excellent recommendations, I've been getting a lot of compliments from the people around me, and my skin has improved tremendously. Leo is an amazing person--very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The service was outstanding, and I highly recommend this place. I'm so happy I found a place where I feel comfortable coming for my treatments. read more

The facial was absolutely amazing so that was good. I bought a bottle of a skin mask and it is fine but not amazing. What makes me give the three stars is the uncomfortable pushy salesmanship. They have an upsell program for light therapy that I wasn't sure about. I haven't been pushed that hard since I was in a Turkish Bazaar. I literally told the person to stop negotiating with me that I was very uncomfortable - and he didn't stop ... read more

Leo is amazing. Very caring and kind. Two thumbs up. Great products and service. Convenient location

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I scheduled a facial appointment more than two weeks in advance and received confirmation that my appointment was booked. The day before the appointment, I began receiving messages about changes to the scheduled time. Unfortunately, I did not have access to my phone for several hours and was unable to respond immediately. When I eventually reached out to the company, I had difficulty getting in contact with anyone. Once I finally spoke with a representative the following day, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled, despite having been previously confirmed. As someone with a very busy schedule, I set aside specific time for this appointment and expected the company to honor its commitment. Instead, my appointment was canceled without adequate accommodation, and I was simply asked if I wanted to reschedule. There are many businesses offering similar services, and customer service and reliability matter. Based on my experience, I found the scheduling and communication practices disappointing and unprofessional. I would encourage prospective clients to consider this before booking an appointment. read more

It's a scam. They do a poor facial using poor products then they make you sit with Thoe who tells you that your skin needs thus $2500.00 hand held device. I tell him I'm not here to purchase a device so he offers me one that doesn't have a BOX for $1500. OH! AND the products he wants to sell you start at $650.00 Total scam! Do your research! read more

Just got done with my facial and the entire staff was fantastic!! I highly recommend !! I'm editing my review as it felt like I couldn't leave unless I left a review. I wanted to say that Rosa gave me a nice facial. But the guy said don't leave a single persons name just say the staff. But after the hard sell to buy $400 eye cream everything was just too much and uncomfortable. They kept telling p me that I buy clothes why not invest in my face. He showed me a receipt from a "customer" who just spent $8,000 and told me I needed to invest more in my face than I do for rent. I felt really uncomfortable the entire time. read more

High pressure sales techniques that made me feel like I was buying a used car. The man (can't remember his name) that helped me resorted to insulting me to try to get me to make a very expensive purchase for a machine that online info states does not provide the results promised. He told me I "didn't care" about my skin enough to buy his product. Couldn't wait to get out of this place. I did purchase a cream that was supposed to help with under eye bags and darkness and it hasn't helped at all. DO NOT go here unless you want to be pushed with high pressure sales techniques to buy expensive, ineffective products. read more
