They are not worth your business and they will only disrespect your time, without even apologizing for any inconvenience their total lack of communication may have caused you! If I could give them 0 or negative stars, I'd gladly do that for Aquarius Property Management!! Outstandingly poor business practices!! I ended up finding a much better house elsewhere anyway, where I dealt with people who understand the value of communication and proper customer service. This company does not deserve your business, and-as a hard working law abiding customer, you certainly don't deserve to be treated poorly during your home search. Please do yourself a favor, and deal with another company! Good luck in your home search!

The self check in was a super easy process and both Tim & Jake were very welcoming. I loved their breakfast each morning, everything was local and amazing, down to their coffee! They also did homemade muffins, cake and scones. The communal area is cute and convenient. We went during one of Portland's colder periods so the fireplace was very helpful and beautifully designed. There's a water dispenser, Keurig machine (with reusable kcups!), tea and snacks avail 24/7. We stayed in room 1 which was just enough space for two. No issues with getting warm water in the shower. The only thing to note is that room 1 is right outside the communal area on the 2nd floor. We had no trouble with noise overall but if people outside the room were talking or walking by, we heard very clearly. Definitely recommend and would love to come back when it's warmer!

It isn't super close to Old Port, but it's about a 20-25 minute walk, even faster if you have a car or bike. Our host, David, was so gracious and kind. He gave us all kinds of tips on where to eat, what to see, and which neighborhoods to check out. And the breakfast options. Holy moly. These are some of the things David made: lobster souffle; turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast puff pastry; raspberry custard; pancakes with wild blueberry compote; lobster home fries. Honestly, some of our best meals in Portland were eaten right in this very B&B. He even puts snacks in the second floor lounge area (there's also tea and chips) every day, and on an especially hot day he put out a pitcher of pink lemonade. It seems like almost all the cooking and cleaning is done by him. I'm not sure how he manages it and yet everything is flawless, but there you go. Reserve your room early because it was booked solid the whole time we were there. Totally worth it.

It was our first time staying in a B&B and this place exceeded our expectations. It was a charming little place with six unique rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and made to order each morning. It was about a 20 minute walk from the main strip of Portland, but there was also a good selection of restaurants in the West End. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They left snacks and coffee and tea out during the day. When I come back to Portland, I will without a doubt book a stay with West End Inn again.

Upon our arrival, there was no one to greet us or direct us to our room. Instead, there was a locked front door and a note saying the entry instructions were included in an email sent sometime earlier. There was also a phone number to call if we needed help. So, standing there on the stoop, in the rain with my wife and our luggage, tired from a long day of driving, I called the number. Milan answered and repeated what the note had said about the instructions being sent via email sometime earlier. So now, still standing on the stoop, I'm scrolling through emails trying to find the one they sent me a day or two earlier. I eventually found a lengthy email with all sorts of information, most of which was irrelevant to us. I sifted through that haystack of verbage and finally found the needle containing the entry instructions and got into the place. Once in, we had to search around to find our room, eventually found it and got settled in, a little frustrated at the experience of getting there. Nevertheless, the room was nice and Milan later showed up (evidently sensing our irritation at the hoops we'd been required to jump through) and told us breakfast was served at a second inn a block away and we were welcome to join them in the morning. We passed on that. If you like the modern e-era, minimal human interaction and packaged treats from Costco, this place is for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a little nicer experience, you'll be disappointed.

I actually liked it was there cause you could walk the opposite direction to more of the downtown area, very good, great walkable area! lots of restaurants nearby. The lobby was nice and I swear it seemed like they were always busy! We got a room on the top floor with a water view which we loved, so pretty! The room itself was great, beds were very comfortable, shower was nice maybe felt like it was running out of hot water after 2 people showered? They came in and tidied up the rooms each day which was a nice touch! They have a gift shop downstairs which has a coffee machine in there! so fresh coffee anytime you wanted, wish they had told me at check in, I didn't know till 3rd day when I went in exploring. Also a restaurant down in the lobby with your classic hotel foods, maybe a bit above average. We went down for drinks one evening and thought the drinks were great! Pool was great for the kids, shuttle was wonderful for pick up and drop off for the airport, make sure to schedule you return to the airport at least a day in advance with the front desk! All in all a very nice stay!

Once we received our application acceptance, (which was almost immediately) our leasing agents were very prompt with our responses and helpful with questions, particularly Amber and Morgan, the two women I have been the most in touch with. In terms of quality this is definitely the nicest apartment I've ever lived in. The appliances are all modern and clean, the paint colors really bring the space together, and the neighborhood (west end) is so idyllic. My boyfriend and I chose not to have a parking space, so I cannot speak to the parking situations, but it seems like everyone in my building sticks to their space and are friendly with one another. Above all else I love that we can pay rent online. My last property management I went through, you had to pay in person which required a lot more planning. I love that I don't have to worry abut making an extra trip to drop of a check. I always feel safe with my mail and packages, everyone in my building seems to respect everyone else's privacy and information. I have even had neighbors put packages safely inside for me that were left outside, just to be safe. I recently emailed Amber about our heat actually being a bit too warm and she emailed me back within minutes saying she'd put in a work order to the maintenance team ASAP. I stayed there two nights in September, traveling on business at the local hospital. The first night I arrived and walked into my room, I could smell dog urine-- very loud and clear. Also, the carpet felt sticky-- perhaps like it was urinated on. As bad as that was, when I got into the bed it was even worse. The smell of dog urine was so so so much stronger on the bed! It was like urine was much deeper than the sheets-- maybe into the mattress! I had a hard time sleeping that night. I told the lady at the front desk the next morning, and she was very apologetic and pledged to have the room cleaned. I can appreciate that. Unfortunately, that second night it was almost just as bad as the first night. I could tell it had been cleaned, but the dominant odor still remained-- including on the bed. As if this were not bad enough, I had to pay $10 to park my car there and it's not like the lot was extra secure or closed or anything... and I don't remember that being made clear when I booked the place. Overall, this is probably the worst place I've stayed in all my years. I would not recommend it unless you really need to. Hey, the location is great! I hate to be negative, but... I'm being real.
