Omg this is a stay at home mums dream passion project! (mine before I started in a completely different line of business lol) Coffee shop meets indoor kid playground. As a first time mother, I struggled to find a place to ("relax") meet up for coffee/chat with my mom friends while the little(s) played. I ended up at the library, but it wasn't the same and obviously not possible since the pandemic hit. Nice simple drinks menu and bakery treats from locally owned Rise Bakery. Nominal fee for kids over 1 years. I would recommend for very small family groups with children under 5. There is a free parking lot shared with other businesses in this small strip mall off of Cascade. The only feedback I would give owners is to serve drink cups on a saucer (to collect spillage) and let customers grab from the counter so baristas don't have to bring it over especially if they get busy. To customers, please be sure to tip and maybe help clean up after your kids a bit! ;) Thank you to the amazing couple who materialized this wonderful concept!

This is the absolute best place to go for play dates when you actually want to have a conversation without constantly having to entertain kids.

I've…read moreseen similar concepts in some of our nearby lakeshore towns, and I think it's a nice combination of retail/coffee shop/cafe. It has a European feel to it that I enjoyed. Nate and I stopped by on a Saturday morning to try some of their seasonal drinks and get a light breakfast. The menu includes some hot food items (breakfast sandwich and quiche) and a small selection of pastries. We got a bunch of things to share: banana bread latte, a breakfast sandwich, slice of broccoli ham quiche, and a cherry almond scone. Everything came out on a counter near the ordering area and they called out our name. The drinks were tasty but I preferred the robin's egg cold brew the best. The banana bread latte didn't have a lot of banana flavor; it mostly tasted like the spices you'd associate with banana bread. I really liked the food we tried. The quiche was one of the best I've ever had. I'm actually still thinking about it days later. The texture of the egg was silky and custardy, not at all spongy or dry. I thought it was divine but if you don't like that texture, it is not for you (flan-like). The breakfast sandwich was a bit bland -- I asked for hot sauce but they couldn't find any. I appreciated the texture of the biscuit, and the egg was also tender (not as custardy as the quiche). I don't usually like scones as they tend to be dry, but theirs was flaky, buttery, and delicious, with a very almond-forward flavor. I would definitely order more quiche and scones. There were quite a few people coming in for pickup orders on a sunny Saturday morning. If I lived closer, I think I'd come here often. I'd be curious to try some of their take home items or lunch.

I parked in the back of the building and there were plenty of parking spots. I had a cappuccino because I had to try their coffee. It was great! I got some other things to try - the Asian salad and the carrot cake. Both were very good. Salad had tons of chicken. And the dressing was light and fresh. Carrot cake was freshly made and the frosting was amazing!! They had some different options in their take home fridge - some chicken lasagna and curry chicken salad to name a couple. I would definitely love to try that chicken salad one day. This place was the perfect coffee shop/bistro. I wish I lived closer by so that I could try more!

It had açaí, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, peanut butter and granola. It was fresh and delicious. It was a decent size for the price. Also, I enjoyed the Chicken Gyro and it came with a side salad. This is a small intimate setting with limited seating. The staff are friendly! I have only done take out but I never had to wait a long time. I have my eye on trying the Avocado Toast next time. I love the location and available parking. Overall, this place gets my stamp of approval!

I tried the green omelette and added a side of the beef sausage. It also came with a piece of sourdough bread. The inside of the café is very cute and calming. I also ordered a hot latte with oat milk and sugar-free pistachio chocolate; that was probably the best part of my order. The food was pretty tasty, and the eggs were a large serving. The side of sausage was an extra $4, which in the future is probably not worth it. The side of bread was also unusually thin and hard to bite/chew - just not what I was expecting from sourdough. I would be interested in trying a Panini or your own next time!

I love that the have seasonal coffee drinks, it makes me go in more often to try all the new ones! For Easter they had a Cadbury egg one and a peanut butter latte and I tried both and couldn't decide which one I liked more! You can't go wrong with any of their pastries, I've had the banana bread, carrot cake muffin, cherry lemon muffin, to name a few but they've all been delicious. The decor is so cute with black and white checkered tile and olive green board and batten walls. And the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you are in Ada!

Other staples for me: matcha latte, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, curry chicken salad, and kale salad. I just realized the kale salad is meant to be 3-4 servings which explains why it's so large! Also delicious: flu fighter soup, cinnamon roll, and they have savory crepes on Saturdays. Follow them on Instagram or Facebook to see the seasonal items and menu items that change every day or week. They also have many heat and serve takeaway meals and special ordering around the holidays.

Then they started disappearing and became harder and harder to find. So when I saw this location was close to the GRR airport, it was worth a detour to stop in and see if was still good. I found my coffee niche since the old days and it's a hot mocha with oat milk. So that's what I ordered and then came the questions. Milk chocolate or Dark Chocolate? Or Mixed? Whaaaaaaaaa? Then she said they steam the chocolate chips with the milk to make the mocha... whaaaaaaaaaa? No syrup or mix or powder... Sign me up for more! The nice woman served the coffee and there were two chocolate covered espresso beans in the little divot. Excellent idea! More chocolate and more coffee! The mocha itself was amazing. Their coffee was still smooth and silky on the palate. I enjoyed it during my long car ride after the flight! If you're not familiar with Caribou Coffee, I'd say give it a try because it's everything I remember about a good coffee chain. Don't judge them on their K-Cups if you've had those. Get something in the store and hope they open more and more of these! Give a big horn-y animal a try!

I got one of those peach coolers along with a pumpkin white mocha cooler blended of course and a normal pumpkin cooler. All of which was immaculate. Starbucks and Biggbys has nothing on Caribou coffee. Not to mention they have an extra large size and they're more affordable than most of your run-of-the-mill coffee places I do however wish that they had a lot more options when it comes to their drinks whether it be frozen hot or iced there's not a lot to choose from and I like a lot of variety so seeing more variety in their menu in the future would really be nice especially with food as well.
