    Cinnamon Roll Latte with Almondmilk

Cinnamon Roll Latte is so good! Super cute coffee shop, kinda in a weird location but I love the vibe/decor. Kind and helpful service, definitely worth a stop!

This has been my new favorite coffee spot. The coffee is delicious. The staff is always so friendly. The prices are decent. I actually enjoy that the coffee shop is in a furniture store because you are always sitting on a nice piece of furniture and the setting also gets switched out often. The place is always neat and clean and they obviously always have a cute setting. The furniture store staff does not bother you either; they let you get your coffee, enjoy it, & leave (I'm referring to other furniture stores where the staff swarms you the second that you walk in the door and never leaves you alone; I was a little worried about the coffee shop being in the store for this reason). They also have a cute little fireplace to sit by. The bagels are super cheap and good here. I really cannot say anything but good things about this place.

Great coffee shop in an inspirational space!

Great locally roasted coffee located in a cute local furniture shop. I spent several hours working here and found it to be a good balance of quiet and inspiring.

My sister and I had a great experience this morning at Uncommon Grounds. They had later opening hours than usual due to New Years holiday (totally reasonable). We arrived at 9:45 not knowing if they'd be open, and they didn't open until 11, but an employee was there getting the shop ready and let us order anyway. We both got oat milk cappuccinos and I ordered the green smoothie. The smoothie was a much prettier shade of green than most! The first sip of my cappuccino was a little bitter/harsh, but it got smoother with every sip. The sizes here are really big (comparable to Starbucks sizing), so I will probably just get a small instead of medium next time. They do list the ounces of each size, which is awesome, I just wasn't paying attention! In addition to the staff being super friendly, professional, and helpful, the merchandise and seating is super adorable. I bought a porcelain mug that says "A little less conversation -Elvis". It's very clean and the employees was wearing a mask even before we walked in. There is plenty of parking out front and an added bonus is that you can browse cute furniture while you wait for your coffee. I will definitely be back to support this business!

Very cute, small coffee shop located inside of Talsma furniture store! When we first walked in, I was a bit confused because the coffee shop just seemed like part of the store. However, there are some book shelves separating the seating area from the store. The seating area consists of a leather couch, 4 armchairs, a larger table for 4, and 3 smaller tables that seat 2 people. The coffee shop is along the front window which makes up the entire wall, so there's lots of natural light coming in.....and it's useful for checking out the weather! I felt very cozy between the fake fireplace & big window, but was not happy to look down & see dead bugs all along the window sill. On the other hand, I was impressed with their menu: all kinds of coffee drinks, loose leaf tea, smoothies, juices, and pastries. I had the hot ginger: lemon & ginger juiced & mixed with hot water! I added some honey for sweetness. It was very tart, but delicious! A good cleansing drink! My husband had the hot chocolate which was creamy & not too sweet! We were at the shop from 5-6pm and were the only ones there! It was very quiet and therefore a great place to study! The barista was very friendly & helpful with describing the drinks! She did mention that they are busiest in the late afternoon and that evenings tend to be quiet! If you're looking to take some coffee home, they do roast their own beans & sell them along with coffee mugs, tea, candles, and other small gifts.

Enjoying my latte with a friend.

This is my new favorite hidden coffee shop. It's inside Talsma Lifestyles building. Free wifi. It's quiet so I can get reading or studying done, and it's never busy so I can pick which table I want. Prices are very reasonable. They have almond, coconut, cashew, and soy milk available. All unsweetened. No up-charge for them too. They can even add some to a smoothie.

Yelp says they open at 6:30am. Got here at 7 and they're closed. Open time is 7:30. Super bummed.

The lunch options are only served from 11-4. Besides coffee, they have wine, beer, pop, and kambucha. I got the masala chai, which was nice and not overly sweet. For meal I got the hippie ki yay, and I enjoyed that flatbread, it is vegan. The spinach dip is also good but different than what you'd expect. It is not too creamy and has a little tangy taste. But I liked that a lot, so I enjoyed it. The ambiance is lively and energetic. There's a lot of seating available, and different types including a massive couch. It is noisy in there with everyone talking, but I dont think its too bad if you want to study there. They do have a stage where they have bands perform, they also have trivia nights. I hope to check out one of the trivia nights. There is a decent size parking lot in the back. This parking lot was filled on a Tuesday night, so its definitely a spot to go and check out. This is one of the best places I have been to in GR! Highly recommend it!!

I've…read moreseen similar concepts in some of our nearby lakeshore towns, and I think it's a nice combination of retail/coffee shop/cafe. It has a European feel to it that I enjoyed. Nate and I stopped by on a Saturday morning to try some of their seasonal drinks and get a light breakfast. The menu includes some hot food items (breakfast sandwich and quiche) and a small selection of pastries. We got a bunch of things to share: banana bread latte, a breakfast sandwich, slice of broccoli ham quiche, and a cherry almond scone. Everything came out on a counter near the ordering area and they called out our name. The drinks were tasty but I preferred the robin's egg cold brew the best. The banana bread latte didn't have a lot of banana flavor; it mostly tasted like the spices you'd associate with banana bread. I really liked the food we tried. The quiche was one of the best I've ever had. I'm actually still thinking about it days later. The texture of the egg was silky and custardy, not at all spongy or dry. I thought it was divine but if you don't like that texture, it is not for you (flan-like). The breakfast sandwich was a bit bland -- I asked for hot sauce but they couldn't find any. I appreciated the texture of the biscuit, and the egg was also tender (not as custardy as the quiche). I don't usually like scones as they tend to be dry, but theirs was flaky, buttery, and delicious, with a very almond-forward flavor. I would definitely order more quiche and scones. There were quite a few people coming in for pickup orders on a sunny Saturday morning. If I lived closer, I think I'd come here often. I'd be curious to try some of their take home items or lunch.

I parked in the back of the building and there were plenty of parking spots. I had a cappuccino because I had to try their coffee. It was great! I got some other things to try - the Asian salad and the carrot cake. Both were very good. Salad had tons of chicken. And the dressing was light and fresh. Carrot cake was freshly made and the frosting was amazing!! They had some different options in their take home fridge - some chicken lasagna and curry chicken salad to name a couple. I would definitely love to try that chicken salad one day. This place was the perfect coffee shop/bistro. I wish I lived closer by so that I could try more!
