I pay thru my bank and can see when the money was taken out of my account and sent. Yet, I get an email threatening my immediate eviction today. Last time they did this, they called me a day or so later and said "sorry, your check got misplaced." Today I thought I would call and speak to a manager about the wording of their "eviction threat" email and how it is the 2nd time in less then 1 .5 years they have messed up and it is much to strongly worded considering it is their fault. The girl answering the phone would only say nobody could talk to me, I asked for anyone in any kind of management position, no one is in that could talk to me. She only wanted to argue with me and NOT connect me to anyone. My renewal of my lease will be in a few months and I am going to start shopping today for a new place. Not being put thru to discuss a problem like this is not acceptable. The maintenance department keeps them from being a 1 star. They are pretty good and usually responsive.

Things you should know: 1. They do not provide detailed receipts for maintenance jobs. I have this documented from the director of operations, Amy Bromberg. There is a complete lack of transparency and as an owner I have no idea if I've been upcharged on the latest repair on my home. 2. Their property managers are really terrible both in terms of communication and reliability. I had Danielle Prock and she took forever to get back to me and made many mistakes and so they changed me to Jameson Gann who then also failed to return my calls and emails -- often waiting up to one week. I had to do their jobs for them. I would find errors in my financial statements and make them aware of them. My property manager had no idea my tenant switched to Section 8 tenancy, he stumbled upon it when I asked him to look into another issue. 3. Their maintenance jobs are sub-standard. My water heater leaked and there was floor damage. The repairman told me on the phone that he literally "guessed" as to where there was damage. He did not use a moisture detector, he did not even know what that was! 4. I had a home owners insurance check disbursed to me that needed co-signature by Evernest as we were both listed as the payees. They had NO idea how to co-sign it, or what the procedure was. It was like the first time they had ever dealt with that for an owner. It has been two months and I still have not been able to deposit the check because they don't know how to co-sign it. I got on a call with their director of operations and my property manager and they apologized for all the inconvenience. They said they would do better and that if they don't within one month, it's reasonable that I leave them for another company. Within 10 days they once again failed to deliver on their promises and couldn't even inform me on the status of my check in due time. What a joke. Good riddance and goodbye Evernest!

I am writing this review after experiencing repeated, severe issues with Decas Group's…read morecommunication, financial reporting, and disbursement of owner draws over a multi-year period. 1. Severe Communication & Revenue Failures: In late 2024, Section 8 rental payments stopped on my property due to a failed inspection. Decas Group failed to inform me that payments had ceased or that the property had failed an inspection until months later after the re-inspection had already occurred. I was given zero opportunity to address or remedy the issue, directly putting months of rental income at risk without my knowledge. 2. Constant Delays in Owner Draws & Statements: This is not a one-off issue--it is a recurring pattern. In December 2025, June 2026, and again in July/August 2026, I had to repeatedly chase down my owner draws and basic monthly financial statements. Every time payout is delayed, excuses range from software transitions to banking mergers, while clients are left without updates or funds unless they constantly follow up. As an owner, basic fiduciary duties require timely accounting, prompt remittance of funds, and immediate notification when rental income is disrupted. Decas Group has consistently failed to deliver on these basic standards. I would strongly advise property owners to look elsewhere for management.
