We returned from vacation and found a large separation next to our sliding door (between the door…read moreand the brick). I had four companies come out to evaluate and the evaluations ranged from "it's seasonal I would wait and see after the ground gets rehydrates" to it is something that needs taken care of today". We chose Ohio Basement Authority because their approach was based on actual information and a bit of science. I must say they were not the least expensive of the options, in fact they were the highest. However I wanted to fix the problem and not have to worry. We were informed the wall had dropped about an inch across the 25ft length. Without going into great detail, placing piers to stabilize the wall was recommended and we agreed with the solution. The team (Bradley R. and Jacob P.) that came to do the work were knowledgeable and professional. They introduced themselves and asked if there was a problem starting early. Then they began work as soon as they could, they had to go get a smaller backhoe to fit through our gate. They kept us informed throughout the process and were respectful of the space. This is a very invasive process digging down to the bottom of the foundation. The pile of dirt was amazing as well as the trench it was extricated from, but again they attempted to keep the mess minimal (which is not possible). After completion of the pier placement they filled in the trench and leveled the massive dirt pile the best they could, we will have to wait for some settling to get a final leveling. I would definitely recommend Ohio Basement Authority from the sales team to the installers they are geat.

The work was done in November. Now I am dealing with a huge mess in the yard and spending more money to get that fixed and on top of that, I see where they cracked the foundation/footer on the outside. Working with them was a mess. There does not seem to be a central person to answer questions. The garage never really got leveled but at least it's not supposed to sink anymore and is stable. It's supposed to be guaranteed but who knows? Don't be fooled by the ads. They make everything look nice in the ads but I still have a giant crack that's now filled with foam. I mean, it's a detached garage, but still...Do some looking around and NEVER let anyone high pressure you. Lesson learned.

The house itself was built in 1886, so the steps were likely made back then too. I made numerous calls to places but it seemed no one wanted to work a job less than $5,000... Until I found this place right on here. Am I glad I did? Definitely! They did an amazing job for a great price. I called them up in January asking about an estimate. Daniel came out to my place within days while I was at work to check it out. Luckily, I didn't have to ditch work to be there. He gave me an estimate of $2,500 to repair the steps and seal them, which would be a two day process, scheduled for when it got warmer around late March. The company requested 1/2 of the price as downpayment, $1,250. On the last week of March, the crew came in on Wednesday to clean the steps and patch, and they were very respectful to my property. The next day, they came back to seal it up, even fixing the three steps leading to my front porch withour adding to the estimated price. When I came home after thet were done, I was absolutely pleased by the job they did, especially for the price. My steps look brand spanking new and I have the peace of mind knowing they're safe. This company is super-responsive, very friendly, and truly great at what they do. Daniel and his crew did even better than I'd expected so I'd vehemently recommend their work to anyone needing concrete work. This company is legit for sure!

My Mr. called around a couple places and got estimates but most won't help us unless we spend 5 thousand or more. During the winter, we used the wrong salt and one of our steps cracked and we needed that replace and 2 other that were wearing down. The rest of the steps were fine and didn't need work. Companies that came out and looked at it was told we would have to replace the whole steps at a ridiculous amount. Some we had a hard time getting them out here to even look at it. Finally he found this company. They were willing to fix the three steps, clean and seal it at a reasonable price. I put down half the deposit in January but had to wait until March. Till it warmed up. Which was understandable. My Mr. was communicating with a representative named Daniel. He was responsive every step of the way. When that time came, they were super quick and it took only two days. I couldn't be more happier. I would highly recommend this company for concrete work. Solid.

Crew showed up in their three hour window, expecting all my other contractors to get out of their way and have the place immaculate for their work when they arrive. Took about 10 minutes to get everybody out of there, but they wouldn't wait because it violated their contract that we weren't at their Beck and call. Finally got them back out there to do the work and they did an absolute crappy job. Took another three weeks to get them back out there to repair it, and all they did was fix the very edge of the concrete as opposed to fixing all the lap marks that we discussed in emails and the other flaws in their work. They've got someone on staff who I swear is a professional Gaslighter. She should get a job working as a press secretary. She literally just continued gaslighting me over and over. It was almost comical if it wasn't so pathetic. They refused to come back out and fix the lapping because they know it will cost them money even though they know the job looks like absolute crap. I will continue on with a Better Business Bureau complaint , and if that doesn't yield me any results, I will Involve the attorneys. I believe we spent about $28,000. What an absolute waste of money on an absolute joke of a company.. By the way, the salesman will say anything you want to hear. There were several things that he told us that he was absolutely full of it. I'm convinced that they probably know they're full of crap, but they just keep pointing to their contract and say this is what's in the contract. On a scale of 1 to 10 for service and quality of work, they don't even make it to the beginning of the scale. Look at these pictures. I'm being told there's not a problem with any lapping. Must be pretty desperate for a dollar when you can't even stand behind your own work.
