I have been a completely satisfied EverKept customer for two decades in spite of price increases that were never advertised. I would normally would give them a 5-star rating. Their drivers smiled and seemed happy, the trucks always looked nice, and their pickups were fairly predictable. However, they just sold to another company in the area, one that seems to be buying up the competition - in my neighborhood, they have already taken over two other small companies. The trucks are dirty and the drivers do not smile or even look at the pedestrians in the neighborhood. This does not give me good feelings about future service and pricing so I am completely unhappy with EverKept's business decision. I am sure their executives are going to make a lot of money on the sale, but I can no longer support a company that sells out. Two stars because their service is quite good and their business decisions quite bad. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. Our trash can was at the curb by 6 am yesterday. Everyone else on the street was picked up, but our house. There wasn't anything in the way of the trash can so they just didn't pick ours up. We called and they said they did pick it up according to their information. We asked for them to come pick it up today instead. Nope. We have to wait until Monday (2 days before next weeks pick up) to get our trash removed. We have done everything right on our end. They obviously were lazy and did every other house on our street but ours. This company is literally trash. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I sold my house 4 months ago and had to call 40 times to ask for my refund because I had already paid for the year. Yes. 40 times. It's funny because when you don't pay them they want there money right away but the second a company has to give you a refund it takes you calling almost everyday to get them to send it. Rest assured they got payed on time every time. I will not recommend them ever. read more

Absolutely a poorly run company. Billing/website is awful. e.g. If you have trash and yard waste, you have two account numbers...ridiculous. You can do autopay on your trash but not on yard waste. But you have the option on their website to set up autopay for yard waste....extremely confusing. I had to call multiple times a year because the driver did not pick up the trash even though it was on the curb. I have no idea how this company continues to be in business and growing in other areas like storage. Drivers are also very rude. I have two properties and have used Granger for many years. Never had an issue and excellent service. Just set up Red Creek because Granger could not service my second property. Cheaper prices and ability to set up autopay for both trash and yard waste. What a concept. I hope your listening Everkept!!! read more

I hate to be 'that guy', But one of your drivers was going back-and-forth through our neighborhood on his pick-ups way, way too fast. It's a tight little neighborhood with lots of kids playing outside. It was a little ridiculous. He just came through at about 11:30 AM. Caravelle Village in Cascade. Sorry for being the neighborhood curmudgeon. read more

Using Everkept for trash and recycling. I switched to them after the other company kept on raising my trash rates. I called around and found Everkept. They have much more reasonable rates and I can now afford to recycle for no where near the costs of the previous hauler. I have found Everkept to be just as reliable. They also use robotic arm trucks. read more

We have used this company for about two years. We have always paid ahead and have two months left of service. We were given two days notice that company would not be coming down our street and we needed to push our cans a very long block down an icy dirt road. I am restricted from such activity. Reaching a manager to discuss this was difficult. The manager was argumentative and showed little sense of appropriate customer service. They said they would pick up the bins (one not even supplied by them). No mention by them of a refund on unused portion of agreement. We had to raise this issue. The behavior of this company belies their "good guy" slogan. read more

I have been a customer of Everkept since they started in business. Always paid my bill early, never complained, even when there was reason to. On Monday I was informed that they were going to start picking up our garbage and recycle bins at a different location than they had been for the last, approximately, 2 years. And it was to begin that week. I told them that wouldn't work for us, that it was a block and a half from our house, the middle of winter, we are both over 65 and couldn't get the bins there. My bill is paid for the next 2 months. I asked that they continue to pick it up at the regular spot until I could get another service. They refused. I asked to speak with a manager. They told me one would call, no one did. I called the next day and spoke to a manager who was completely unhelpful. At this point I have no usable garbage service and no refund. read more

If you desire personal service from a company which values your patronage you will want to look elsewhere. After a couple years of mostly adequate service, my service was terminated with a bright red tag on my uncollected garbage stating that there was "an issue". Granted, my bill was outstanding, yet, they bill 3 months in advance - and this was the very first pickup. (by the way, they apparently don't offer refunds if one wishes to terminate services early...? ) Service was reestablished. A couple months later a 65 gallon trash bin (obviously used and damaged, with two different wheels) was inexplicably left unannounced at the top of my driveway. I had always used a smaller store bought container since it fit better in my garage. Three phone calls later, with three very different conversations - I called it quits. Oh, and don't expect much help from Heidi the office manager, she shares the same last name with the two owners. There are much more user friendly services out there.. Have had Everkept service for 1.5 years, no problem till they missed picking up my trash and others on my street. Had yard waste and trash out Sunday night the night before prior to scheduled pick up, emptied yard waste but not trash. Called them same day, was told it would be picked up next day. Tuesday It was not done, called again and was told they had truck problem and new driver but the truck is still out and will come by. Wednesday called again, was told again they would be by today. Wednesday at 4:10 called a asking to speak with office manager, was told she was in a meeting but promised to call me back. Called at 4:50 on hold then recording to call during business hours. Being persistent I called the number on my caller ID at 5:10 and someone answered! Asked for office manager and was told she wasn't in today, asked for supervisor whom I was connected to (maybe?) spoke with this person who identified herself as the office manager! Wow! They can refuse to pick up your trash if you are one day late on payment but what recourse as a customer do we have?? So as promised, now day 3, that. They would come by Thursday, day 4. Now I wait. Can't cancel service until end of billing because I'm afraid what I'd go through to get my money back! read more

When it comes to removing waste, all companies do the same thing: remove waste. So the only thing that matters is customer service. Appallingly inefficient customer service is what distinguishes Everkept from the others. I got a postcard saying my subscription had expired. I called and they teold me they "may have not sent me a bill" because of the change of ownership. (this was the first billing cycle since the company changed hands.) I assume they will send me a bill but two weeks later when I try to find out how much I owe and how to pay, it takes three phone calls to do so. They finally give me the information on a Thursday and the next day, my regular pick up day, they don't pick up my garbage. So they know they didn't bill me, they didn't follow up after acknowledging they didn't build me, and when I finally got the answer and tell them I will send it out the next day, they stop my service anyway. It took setting up two times for them to pick up my bins. (another long story...) After the second time, which I assumed was successful because the bins were no longer in my front yard, I got a call saying I'd better put those bins out or I would be billed for them. I had paid upfront for a whole season of yard waste pick up and when I asked about the refund for the unused month and a half of service, she said they don't do refunds but that I "could have kept using it through the end of the season." That, of course, was never mentioned or suggested while I was terminating my service. These are just the highlights. I strongly recommend saving yourself a lot of aggravation by choosing a different service. read more
