I was feeling quite frustrated after healing from bones broken in my hand and unable to even clench my fist. Tracy gave me a thorough assessment and prescribed specific exercises for my condition. She was supportive and encouraging to follow the regime. I am now seeing progress after 6 weeks of feeling handicapped. I appreciate the personal attention and did not feel like just another patient after seeing doctors in Canada, PA and DE over the past 6 weeks. The doctor recommended Tracy as a preferred hand therapist, though there were many nearby in Lewes because I did not want to drive 35 minutes. I am an overseas visitor and was treated some whar indifferent. I called 2 others but they are large operations and Tracy is one-on-one providing personalised, professional service.

I Chose Pivot because prior to moving to Dover, about a year and a half ago, I had used the Pivot clinic in Bear, De back when it was also called Dynamic Physical Therapy and had had excellent results with them. I was not at all disappointed with the two locations in Dover. I saw the therapists at Forest Avenue for some rehab on a knee replacement and I went to the Governor's Avenue for some issues with my left wrist. Fantastic results from both locations and I cannot speak highly enough nor thank them all enough for the work they did with me and what they taught me to do on my own to keep things working properly. A great organization with wonderful people. If you need physical or occupational therapy and you live in the Dover area, Pivot is where you need to go.

Consequently, my care has been extremely fragmented and basically I do the exercises on my own with the Therapist of the day checking in. I think the problem is I was scheduled with someone they knew would be going away, and so there is no continuity of care. This is administrative-- everyone there works very hard, and does the best they can. Again, I want to be clear the professionals and paraprofessionals are hardworking, friendly and knowledgeable. This is an administrative issue that makes it hard for them to give the kind of care they all clearly want to provide. I'll update if things change.
