Unfortunately this pediatrician's office quality of care is very poor. Their practitioners have no clue how to practice medicine. They have been wrong on more than one occasion, which at one point almost caused my child's infection to become meningitis. They love to say everything is a virus! All the providers here are terrible, we have tried all of them, one worse than the next. I once was asked why I was checking my child's temperature when they were sleeping as if it was the provider's choice. Obviously it was because their temperature seemed very high and thank goodness, because I rushed to the hospital and the bacterial infection that they called a virus was almost deadly. Very inexperienced practitioners. Oh and god forbid your child is sick and nervous about being at the dr in general because they will go ahead, look you in the eye and tell you they have autism after seeing them for 5 minutes. Nope, it's not possible my child is deathly ill and nervous and is not acting like themselves. God forbid you question their expertise, they will retaliate and go as far as typing up a 2 page briefing of a visit that is completely in their favor, full of lies and things that were never said to protect themselves, the office, their creditability and their career without any awareness that they are committing a crime and exhibiting unprofessional conduct! And of course all the providers including Melissa Dean, will back each other up, even though it will be clear that one made a mistake. Their newest provider (Stacion Gibbs) used to work at a nursing home and wants to wave her power wand because that's what she's used to with the elderly. Stay away from these incompetent shoemakers. It is absolutely atrocious and horrendous that these people are allowed to treat children. Proceed with caution. A much-needed complaint to the medical board is in order. read more

If I could give it less then 1 star I would. I went to abc pediatrics on a recommendation and waited months to get in. My kids and I were at the initial appointment maybe 15 minutes. The doctor proceeded to tell me that my daughter didn't need her rescue inhaler for her asthma and she "grew out" of her milk allergy. Luckily we found a better doctor who referred us to an allergy specialist (testing showed a continued dairy allergy and asthma). ABC pediatrics then tried to charge me 500 for the visit. My co pay is 25. When I repeatedly called them to talk about a coding issue (it was a new patient visit, not a well visit, easy fix), they only called back once to inform me they were sending me to collections. I get a call from a third party company to collect the money and honestly I wanted done with this horrible practice so I was going to pay. I mentioned to the collections agency that the bill itemized a 15 minute discussion about my child's "obesity", which never happened and because we were trying a new doc I had timestamps (texts) sent to my husband of the start and stop of the appointment. After explaining the situation, collections refuses to collect, saying it is clearly abc pediatrics mistake. Horrible practice read more

All three of my children have been going to ABC Pediatrics since birth, my oldest is almost 10 years old. During the winter months, they have a separate side for 'sick visits' that you enter through and sit in a small waiting area with other sick visits. Last winter, one of my children had to be seen back three different times for one illness that was misdiagnosed from the sick side. She ended up having the flu and I felt I had to fight for a proper diagnosis. Even though I was unsatisfied with my child's treatment, I decided to stay and give them another try. My children were seen for a few other office visits throughout this year without complications. When I tried to call in for another office visit recently, I was told my oldest child had a balance on her account from 2018 and that it would have to be paid in at least half before they would see her again. I never received any bill despite having updated our contact information multiple times throughout the past few years. The office manager would not help me with a solution to the issue, even though I told them she had insurance coverage at the time of service and I was never notified about the balance over the past six years we have attended the practice. The regular doctors that do not fill in on the sick side are great but I can not justify continuing care at this practice after all the issues they have presented us with this year. There was a time when we would refer all friends and family to ABC but after the last year, we do no recommend this practice due to management of the office. I have decided to transfer care of all three of my children. read more

I grew up seeing Dr. Mahmoud as my own pediatrician and now my daughter is his patient. I have had nothing but positive experiences with him and his office! If I ever need to call to have my daughter seen they are always able to get her in to be seen within that day, which is rare for some pediatric offices. The staff is very friendly and they are always very sweet with my daughter. Dr. Mahmoud is a very compassionate doctor and he knows what he is doing! My daughter has not seen Melissa, but I have spoken with her during after hours and she has been very helpful with medical advice until I bring my daughter in to see the doctor in the morning. I would recommend this practice to anyone! read more
