The next day ALL THE ROSES were droopy (which I spoke with the florist I used to use and they indicated that the droop means they're old) and looked like they were already dead. I've ordered flowers many times online while away on a trip but this now has got me very leery, I don't expect it to look exactly like the picture but this was the worst ones I've seen yet!! I call the site that I ordered from and did get refund a whopping $5 from a $65 order. Just to add, the card accompanying the bouquet was more of a business card instead of what was written for my gal! Just thought I was very unprofessional, she wants to read what I wrote not about their business location and delivery directions which was not followed and basically ruined the surprise with the delivery driver call asking if they can leave on the front porch at the 1pm hour instead of the request of delivery 5pm or after. After seeing some great reviews I decided to give Evergreen Florist a call only days before my daughters prom. Worried I was too late to make an order they surprised me and and said they could do it! And boy they did not disappoint. I ordered a wrist corsage and matching boutonnière with white roses and blue accents and blue and black ribbon. I sent my daughter to pick them up today and they are beautiful. My daughter also messaged me after she picked them up and told me how friendly and sweet the staff were. Ordered a $230 arrangement on the 12th to be delivered to my girlfriends work on Valentine's Day between 8:00am-4:00pm. By 3:00pm in the afternoon the delivery still hadn't been made. Called Evergreen Florist to see if it was going to be able to be delivered before my girlfriend left work. Person on the phone said that she had no way of knowing where my order was at the moment or when exactly it would be delivered. But she said they had 15 delivery drivers out and assured me that it would be delivered by 4:00pm and to call back again if by some chance it wasn't. 4:00pm rolled around and still no flowers. Called the shop at 4:30pm and this time the person on the phone told me that they had over 400 deliveries to make today and that mine would be made eventually. I said that my girlfriend is no longer at work where the flowers were supposed to be delivered. She said that the delivery driver would call the recipient on the order to schedule a new meeting place if the recipient was not there when the driver got to the original delivery address. Before getting off the phone I gave her my order number and asked to please make sure that my order had even been fulfilled and sent out for delivery. She assured me that yes it had. Had to call my girlfriend and ruin the surprise by telling her to expect a phone call from a delivery driver bringing her the flowers I got her. At 6:30pm, while we were sitting in a restaurant having dinner, she finally got a call from the delivery driver asking where he could bring the flowers. She told him to bring them to the restaurant since we would be there for a while longer. He finally arrived at 7:30pm. He spoke to my girlfriend for a moment and told her the reason they arrived so late was because he got a call shortly before the florist closed at 5:00pm and was told to come pick up this arrangement and deliver it. Obviously the person I spoke to during my second phone conversation with the shop flat out lied to me when she told me my order had been fulfilled and was out for delivery. What's worse, they close at 5:00pm, if I had made that second phone call just a half hour later they wouldn't have answered the phone and my order would have never been delivered at all. So not only was the surprise ultimately ruined, along with the opportunity for her to receive a big bouquet of flowers in front of all her friends at work, but the gift almost never happened at all and I would've been left explaining the whole ordeal to her over Valentine's Day dinner had I not taken the initiative to call the shop a second time when I did... only to be lied to during that phone call mind you. Not only is this place incompetent, but when they blunder your order they'll blatantly lie to you about their mistake. UPDATE EDIT 02/15/20 - My girlfriend spoke with the owner of the shop today and Evergreen Florist has compensated us to make this situation right. Apparently my order was set as a priority since it was one of their biggest bouquets being delivered that day and it actually was sent out first thing in the morning. But when the delivery driver that had my arrangement returned to the shop at the end of the day after making all his other deliveries he still had my arrangement with him. When asked why mine wasn't delivered he said because he had lost the balloons that were with it. They relieved that particular driver and had to contact a new one to come get my arrangement and deliver it. The shop owner was very apologetic and understanding with regards to why this ordeal was so upsetting and disappointing for us. So to make amends they have given me a $200 credit. That's nearly a complete refund in the form of store credit. I'm truly appreciative of and grateful for this gesture. I feel bad now for calling them incompetent. I considered erasing the bad review, or at the very least editing it a bit to make it a tad less harsh, but after thinking about it I felt like it would be better for them to leave it up along with this update edit to show people that they do indeed value service to their customers and strive for a quality experience. Because of their efforts towards rectifying this ordeal I'm going to change my 1 star rating to a 4. read more

Ordered flowers--my family member didn't receive them so I called Evergreen. My order was placed online no problem. However, I was informed when I called that they don't deliver to the area my family member lives in. I didn't receive notification of this from Evergreen. Beware and don't order online because your order may not go through. They should update their delivery system so orders can't be placed to non-delivery areas. A phone call would have been nice too letting me know of this; now no one will deliver flowers until next week, due to the holiday. So much for trying to support local. I ordered a 80.00 supreme bouquet of roses for my daughters birthday and was extremely unhappy with the 8 roses and 6 carnations they sent instead of the two dozen roses it was suppose to come with. Who in the world knows what to order for a funeral or memorial service? Luckily, they have a large selection to choose from. The woman on the phone was so helpful.
