I came to Cascade to do the puppy shots etc with my pup, Wilbur. The vet that saw him kindly pointed out how inbred he was and to never even consider breeding him. She pointed out he is a special needs baby. I was grateful for the honesty! I 2025 I was informed that that doctor also wrote a scathing letter to AKC that day and the Breed Parent Club about the condition of Wilbur. Because of that letter, the breeder and club received severe discipline from AKC. Wilbur is now 12 and has had a difficult life with Parrott mouth. Thank you for making a difference in the breed! Very grateful! No other doctor did that for him!
