My mother is 83 years old and handicapped, and we had to pay out of pocket. There were multiple attempts to adjust the dentures, and they changed providers. They were all nice people but honestly, I don't feel the dentures were fitted properly. It's been a very disappointing experience. they expect my mom to visit the office many times adjust.

He gaslighted me and wasted more than a year of my time, not to mention the harm and trauma caused. I had two second opinions by other Prosthodontists and was told my entire case must be redone, and I now need gum surgery. I asked for all my money back, to which Bray agreed, but then he chose to get his dental malpractice insurance lawyer involved. I then learned that Dr Bray (along with his wife Leslie Bray) secretly and illegally recorded at least one of my dental appointment visits. He has admitted to this crime. Secretly and illegally recording a patient visit is obviously a blatant violation of patient-provider confidentiality and trust, along with violating HIPAA and several Oregon privacy laws (in addition to his actions being all-around creepy, deceptive, and manipulative). His actions are against the law and violate my rights on several different levels. It's shocking that a licensed healthcare provider that is supposed to care for patients and be trustworthy and honest would do such dishonest and manipulative things. I am told he also used at least one unlicensed person in some of my dental work. I am posting this brief review to warn other patients of the lack of ethics, care, and skill Dr Bray has shown. In addition, according to him, he has mental health issues, which pose a potential incapacity to practice safely. Of course, I have compassion and empathy for anyone struggling with any issue, but it's stressful and scary to worry about the number of different scenarios that can happen because of his self-described mental health issues. I hope this review is informative and helpful to others. My experience at Portland Prosthodontics was extremely disappointing and traumatic, to say the least.

With the Tech (who said she is only a temp) well she clearly was NOT at her best, and she definitely wasn't concerned about me being at mine! She was rushed, talking to multiple people while talking to me, not focused and not listening to what I was asking for at all, and her words didn't match the care she provided me. I came in for an adjustment and she could have gave a damn. She absolutely did not care and that was very evident. I will spare the details, just know that she made my denture even worse than when I came in. But today Melissa made most of that GO AWAY!!! She was patient, knowledgeable, empathetic, professional and she practiced active listening, and she IS solution based & she took her time!!! I left really feeling like I mattered & that is Customer service many people just don't seem to possess these days. I think Melissa may have just saved Affordable Dentures from a bad review. My teeth aren't fully where I want them to be just yet, I am meeting with Dr in a few more weeks, to show him something's I am unhappy with & discuss options to hopefully correct it.
