"Presented to (Name of the Neuro Surgeon MD, DMD withheld) for an examination, said examination confirmed permanent nerve damage to the right mental nerve secondary to the injection administered by Dr. Halmos. Due to Dr. Halmos negligent failure to refer to a specialist, the unreasonable delay in treatment entirely eliminated the possibility of micro neurosurgery repair, therefore the injury the patient sustained in the office of Dr. Halmos is permanent" . #2. Dr. Halmos administered an unnecessary Mental Block Injection. #3. Failing to obtain informed consent: "Patient was deprived of the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding the potential risk. Dr. Halmos was negligent by failing to obtain a signed informed consent for any of the dental procedures performed as indicated by the absence of any such document in the chart notes". #4 (Note from the Neuroradiologist): "Your study is abnormal and shows nerve damage and tissue atrophy right where your numbness is. It is a combination of facial nerve and inferior alveolar nerve injury. There is also related muscle and soft tissue atrophy". Good moral work ethics would have dictated patient care instead of in my opinion heartless behavior of Dr. Halmos. Wishing me "good luck" just did not cut it. Patient care is supposed to extend beyond the time of the treatment, especially if a problems occurs. In this aspect, in my opinion Dr. Halmos does not care, tries to ignore the situation and rather goes on with "Business As Usual". Due to having received life long damage and outrageous behavior at Advanced Dentistry I can only advice others to stay away from this office, what I experienced at Advanced Dentistry is serious. read more

A+ experience. As a perfectionist and a vain person it was a relief to find Dr. Manning. During a stressful time in my life I was grinding my front teeth and slightly wore down a tooth, which bothered me. I had the tooth bonded by my dentist who is now retired. After about 8 years the bond chipped. I had it repaired but it only lasted 18 months. I asked a friend in the dental industry if there was someone she would recommend and it was Dr. Manning. So glad she did! Everyone at Advanced is friendly and helpful. They got me in quickly and addressed all potential issues. I most admire that did not try to talk me into a crown or veneer. I asked what I should do and Dr. Manning said we should stick with less invasive bonding and she would do it a little thicker behind the tooth for durability. I went back to get a night guard which was very comfortable, and easy to get fitted for. During all appointments I felt heard and believe that my best interest is their ultimate goal. Dr. Manning repeatedly made sure I was satisfied with the way my bonded tooth looks and that the mouth guard fit well. Dr. Manning obviously takes pride in doing an exceptional job. read more

I can't say anything about the dentist because I straight away noped out of this after talking to the receptionist. An attitude was that neither she nor the dentist care about you as a patient or as a client. And I wasn't calling about teeth cleaning but about an expensive lengthy surgery. I was very impressed with Dr. Lauren Manning from the first time I met with her. I needed to have a 35-year-old, ill-fitting top front bridge completely replaced in conjunction with significant orthodontic work. She advised me and worked with me over a two year period while I went through the course of aligners and had all the dental work done. If your looking for not just a dentist, but an dental expert I'd highly recommended Dr Manning. I know that she has undergone several additional years to become a Harvard trained prosthodontist specialist, but what isn't reflected in her degree is the level of detailed care I received from her today. It appeared to me that she went through my mouth with a fine tooth comb discovering things that no other dentist has. My husband was a general dentist and became an orthodontist, spending many years in that field before he retired early a few years ago. When I lost two teeth during 2020 (regular crowned teeth that gave up their life after some 30 years!), and had to have them both removed, we consulted with our dentist about what would be best to replace the empty spots with, and decided on implants for the lower area. We then talked with several other dentists who we knew well, and Dr. Halmos' name (Advanced Dentistry) came up over and over by these dentists who had themselves or their wives had had him do the crowns for their implants, and everyone of them said he did superior work with getting these placed in the best possible way. Apparently, there is a special skill required to do this work that is not the same as when placing regular crowns on teeth needing them. Yes, he was more expensive than others we looked at, but as we thought of the long-term, it became apparent that if I wanted a good future for these already expensive implants done by my periodontist, I probably also wanted a great job on their specialty crowns! Dr. Halmos answered every one of my questions with great care, never made me feel that any of my questions were dumb ones, and was friendly and kind throughout the whole time of getting the work done. He consulted often with the periodontist and they together decided on the slight slant of the implants which would work best for not impacting the lower jaw nerve. I also thought his staff were some of the best in making me feel comfortable and at ease. You would think being married to a dentist would calm all those fears, right? NO!! It takes a very special dentist and assisting staff to make that happen, and Dr. Halmos and his group achieved that for me! Prior to walking into Dr. Manning's office, I was ready to give up on my teeth and gums. I was hitting dead ends and not sure where to go or what to do. Over the years I've been to numerous Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Periodontists, but never a Prosthodontist. From my first meeting with Dr. Manning, she was incredibly patient in explaining what she felt my treatment plan should be. More important, she believed she could do what others couldn't. She could work to save my implant, prevent me from needing another implant, and improve my smile while doing it. The attention to detail and teeth restoration is like nothing I have ever seen. I've had a couple porcelain teeth for years, but never have I had teeth that look so real in color and feel. Who knew that a porcelain tooth could be multiple tints and opaque to match your real teeth. Dr. Manning is a perfectionist and sent my "new teeth" back to the lab until they were perfect. She wanted to make sure we were both happy with this results.
