Definitely would come back here for a Christmas tree! We're in and out of town throughout December, and so went the weekend before thanksgiving to pick up a tree (early, I know!). We were able to drive right up to the lot and look at all the trees that were out. It's our first time buying a tree and we had no idea what to look for, and the team here was helpful in explaining the differences in types of tree, the sizes, and upkeep. We were able to buy the tree and get the stand set up, and they wrapped it and helped us take it to our car. So far, it seems to be doing okay. There's some needle loss but I can mostly tell only by looking at our floor and the needle collection - the tree still looks healthy and robust. Good first time experience! read more

We had been using an artificial tree for years because finding a tree in Boston and getting it delivered to a condo and then disposing of it has been such a hassle. We have now had 3 orders from Evergreen and the fish has been spectacularly good, better than Whole Foods and as good as the fish we get from Larsen's on Martha's Vineyard. We have had salmon three times, and also hake, flounder and scallops. We also tried their amazing bluefish pate and salmon pate. All have been wondrous. In 2012 I moved to Somerville with my manpanion. After years of tolerating a fake Christmas tree due to a roommate with allergies, I decided it was high time to get a REAL tree in the house for Christmas. I found out that Ricky's Flower Market was about a mile down the road, so off I went to pick out a tree. My plan was to get a small tree that I could carry home myself, but instead I fell in love with a big, fluffy, 7 foot white pine. When I was paying for my tree and trying to figure out the logistics of getting it home (I don't have a car), I asked if they offered any delivery options to my part of town. "Call Jimmy. He's got a bike and a trailer," said Ricky, pointing to a sign with a phone number. One quick, easy phone call later, and I had a scheduled time that Jimmy would be at my house with the tree. He texted me when he was on the way and again when he was at my door - which was right on time! He made carrying a tree up 3 flights of stairs look easy. Tree ordered on line, laughed with Jimmy the owner as I was sure this was "fake news" and within a few hours this huge, beautiful, freshly cut 10 foot tree was in my living room. Jimmy is knowledgeable, professional and incredibly kind. I was nervous about someone else picking out my tree and delivering it by bike! But I didn't have another option as I don't have a car and couldn't carry the tree myself. Unfortunately, there was a little glitch with the system and Jimmy didn't get my order. But I called and he was able to remedy the problem and get the tree to me in an hour. We used EverGreen to deliver our weekly Parker Farms veggie CSA. After we'd missed our CSA for two weeks because of work, this seemed like a really great option. We got our deliveries on time every week. When it was hot, they included ice packs for the produce. And when we had more delicate items (like peaches), they wrapped them separately in their own little bag so they didn't get jostled around with the rest of the veg. Jimmy (the owner) is really flexible, kind, and dedicated to his business.
