A very cute place to visit if you're in the area! In October, they had a huge variety of pumpkins and squashes (both for decoration and for eating). They also sell a variety of other produce, goods from small businesses, and plants/flowers.

Saw the farm was open and decided to stop in. Everything is gorgeous and blooming! The various greenhouses are full of veggies, herbs and flowers. There are lush plants & trees everywhere. If you're in need of eggs, meat, honey, or any type of local goods, you'd probably find it in the shop. Towards the back of the property there's a pond and two beautiful cows, or maybe bulls. Just hanging around. Enjoying the warm weather. There are also big, beautiful chickens in the coop. This is a neat family friendly spot!

Very decent farm and it's a nice quaint place and they sell their own vegetables and what were the other Farms until their stuff too. I got some really tasty sweet corn for $0.75 an ear. I got an eggplant called the Beatrice in your plant so naturally I had to buy a because my name is Beatrix. It's not a very big grocery Farm but I like the fact that they had working bee hives. Very very cool. Feels I had a big Nursery there full of seasonal plants like Magnolias.

First time at the farm today and loved it! Relaxed time picking out a tree (easy parking & timed reservation) and walked away with the most short and fat Fraser fir (5 feet) at a reasonable price. With many places selling out already this year, I was impressed by the fresh and diverse selection. Will be back again next year! Thank you team Allandale!!

What a hidden gem in the city that I am so glad I visited today!!! Beautiful store with lots of gardening supplies and planters and then a whole food section of speciality items. Best part was outside they had a stand with warm cider donuts, hot chocolate and hot cider. They also have hayrides for the kids and a few animals on site.

My beautiful tree I got from the farm.

Getting rebuilt. Minimal products. Nothing I wanted. Was a wasted trip and frustrating.

Beautiful trees and great service! Very well-organized! You will need a parking reservation on weekends, but they make it easy!

Ask the Community - Allandale Farm

Do they have loose leaf teas?

We do! We carry loose leaf tea from two local companies: Mem Tea, a Boston based importer and Full Kettle Tea, an herbal tea farm in Sunderland, MA.

In addition, they sell tree stands and lights. We walked into the tree lot and gladly helped ourselves. The tree prices are both online and on a chalkboard up front. Before you pick out your tree, I recommend you look at the prices so you're not sticker shocked like me when you go to pay. I get that things are more expensive these days but I was not expecting to pay $230 bucks for a tree that measures at 7 feet tall because they're counting the trunk of the tree (1 foot). Maybe this is common? I don't know - enlighten me! Anyways, I am happy we got our tree and I know I will love to have it in our space. But if you're not looking to lay down a a decent amount, you might want to explore your options. If you're looking for convenience and you're ok with the prices, this place is for you. Happy tree hunting!

It's so refreshing to drive right down the street from the city and into a little patch of rural farm loveliness that is also rare in Lowell now. The staff are so friendly and they clearly are enjoying their time making the whole experience one for your family to remember. Sometimes they have hot cocoa available. They encourage you to take your time and take pictures among the trees and are great about bantering and chatting with you as they drive you on the tractors up to the trees. They're also great about letting you know any info on the different types of trees they're have available. Their team of tree cutters will chop down your chosen tree, trim it up if you want, shake off the loose needles, and load it back up onto the tractor to be packaged up nicely in mesh for the ride home. Trees are cash only and prices are more than your average tree lot trees; $10 a foot. BUT! The trees are full, beautifully-shaped (no bald spots!), and they truly last for forever, smell fantastic, and don't lose all their needles within a week. We typically get our tree the first weekend of December and have it up with barely any fallen needles until mid January. Honestly, even if they lasted half the time for the same price, we'd still go to Rollie's because it is such a fun, relaxed experience to tuck away each year for a family memory.

You could find any size of any type of tree you would want! Not only could you search on your own, you could either cut it down or have someone else cut it down for you with a ride to the front where they shake it out and bundle it up for you! $10/ft. Best tree farm. I will miss it dearly
