A very cute place to visit if you're in the area! In October, they had a huge variety of pumpkins and squashes (both for decoration and for eating). They also sell a variety of other produce, goods from small businesses, and plants/flowers.

Saw the farm was open and decided to stop in. Everything is gorgeous and blooming! The various greenhouses are full of veggies, herbs and flowers. There are lush plants & trees everywhere. If you're in need of eggs, meat, honey, or any type of local goods, you'd probably find it in the shop. Towards the back of the property there's a pond and two beautiful cows, or maybe bulls. Just hanging around. Enjoying the warm weather. There are also big, beautiful chickens in the coop. This is a neat family friendly spot!

Very decent farm and it's a nice quaint place and they sell their own vegetables and what were the other Farms until their stuff too. I got some really tasty sweet corn for $0.75 an ear. I got an eggplant called the Beatrice in your plant so naturally I had to buy a because my name is Beatrix. It's not a very big grocery Farm but I like the fact that they had working bee hives. Very very cool. Feels I had a big Nursery there full of seasonal plants like Magnolias.

First time at the farm today and loved it! Relaxed time picking out a tree (easy parking & timed reservation) and walked away with the most short and fat Fraser fir (5 feet) at a reasonable price. With many places selling out already this year, I was impressed by the fresh and diverse selection. Will be back again next year! Thank you team Allandale!!

What a hidden gem in the city that I am so glad I visited today!!! Beautiful store with lots of gardening supplies and planters and then a whole food section of speciality items. Best part was outside they had a stand with warm cider donuts, hot chocolate and hot cider. They also have hayrides for the kids and a few animals on site.

My beautiful tree I got from the farm.

Getting rebuilt. Minimal products. Nothing I wanted. Was a wasted trip and frustrating.

Beautiful trees and great service! Very well-organized! You will need a parking reservation on weekends, but they make it easy!

Ask the Community - Allandale Farm

Do they have loose leaf teas?

We do! We carry loose leaf tea from two local companies: Mem Tea, a Boston based importer and Full Kettle Tea, an herbal tea farm in Sunderland, MA.

I'm glad, really glad that we have this farmers market in JP. However, the people that work stands…read moreare pretty moody. You never know from one shopping day for the next if they're gonna give you the hairy eyeball or they're gonna be helpful. One example: I had some questions and I asked the people at the stand and they were like oh yeah just go to our website and send a message and maybe back it up with a phone call. I called three times over. Two weeks and I sent two emails. No one ever got back to me. And it was really important that I discussed some things health related things and I simply couldn't get an answer. So next time I was at the stand, I told the people what it happened and the person I was talking to literally just shrugged their shoulders and trying to be funny they said in a cartoon voice, "well, tough beans!" Not cool. Really not cool.

This farmer's market is a cornerstone of the JP community. It's such an awesome resource for a…read moresmall and somewhat isolated area to have a regular farmers market all year, even in the winter. I really appreciate that given the small space available the priority is given to fresh foods (produce, fish, meat) rather than other small businesses like candles or tote bags that you see at larger markets. I do wish we were able to have the Tuesday market available all year instead of just summer, but I'm glad Saturdays at least are all year. As other reviewers have shared, prices are not cheap but the quality is exceptional. If we were able to get to use more of the parking lot to bring in more stalls that would be awesome, but until then I'm happy with our little baby market.
