So there are not many seafood places here in Colorado, let alone Greeley but this place is a must…read moreif you're passing through and want some good sushi and seafood. The service is always great and so friendly and I love the ambiance of the place too! When I go I always sit at the bar and get me a flight of whiskey. Of the many times I have at here, here is a few of the apps I have gotten and loved. My favorite and mostly go to is the crispy Brussels and cauliflower fried topped with bacon and balsamic drizzle, there is also some dippy stuff that comes with it. I don't know what it's called but I freaking love it w the Brussels. Another app I have tried is the kickin shrimp. This is almost like the bang bang shrimp from PF Changs but a little more crispier and tastes much better in my opinion. The sushi rolls I have tried is the spicy tuna, yes it's raw, and so delicious. If you like spicy this is definitely a sushi roll for you. The fish was very fresh and so tender, you almost didn't know you were eating raw fish. Now for the two entrees I have tried, I'll start first with my second favorite which is the fish and chips. The fish is battered to perfection and so crispy along with the fish so flaky and just so yummy. The sides that came w it were fries. They were good. Now onto my number one hands down favorite dish I always get when I come. What can I say I'm a creature of habit. The mahi mahi, , the way they cook it and the flakiness of this fish here is phenomenal, you can either get the rice that comes with it or how I do it I sub it for their fresh asparagus topped with a spring mix and some dressing on top. I use to not like mahi mahi but this place I will eat it until the end of time. Overall this place is a 10/10. Staff is always amazing, food is on point and fresh and the whiskey is delish!

If you know, you know... and more people seriously need to know about Oak and Maple…read more This is one of those tucked-away, hole-in-the-wall spots you'd never stumble on unless somebody lets you in on the secret--and trust me, it deserves to be talked about a lot more. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck that perfect balance: fresh, fun, and effortlessly Instagram-worthy without trying too hard. Think whimsical but polished. The kind of place that feels curated but still comfortable. The decor alone is worth a visit. The cerulean blue tones paired with a warm leather couches and floral accents creates a space that feels both stylish and inviting. And I have to mention the tic-tac wall designed to look like a waffle--unexpected, playful, and honestly adorable. Now let's talk concept: waffles and whiskey. It sounds a little unconventional at first, but it absolutely works. It's creative, a little indulgent, and makes the whole experience feel unique rather than just another brunch or bar stop. The service was just as impressive as the setting. The woman who helped me had only been there a couple of weeks, but you would never have guessed it. She knew the menu and the bar inside and out, gave great recommendations, and brought such a warm, upbeat energy to the experience. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being scripted--just genuinely great service. Overall, the ambience makes it the kind of place you wanna linger. Whether you're stopping in for a bite, sipping on a creative cocktail, or just looking for somewhere to unwind, it hits the mark. Oak and Maple is one of Greeley's hidden gems-- and it's time it's stopped being hidden.

Great service and amazing atmosphere. Totally recommend. Also the name is original ;)read more

Let me just share a little bit about The Alibi in Milliken…read more.. It's our neighborhood bar. I love going there. I've met some amazing bartenders. We love to play pool and darts and get to know our neighbors. So recently, they have new ownership, Kat (apparently) is the person in charge. I went tonight and brought my family. Mom, dad, brother, and close family friend. I was so excited to show them my neighborhood bar. Upon pulling up from the east bound route, I tried to pull in to the left, to the parking lot behind the bar, only to find I couldn't pull in there. I merged back over and parked across the street. There was a regular who I had met previously, standing out front smoking a cigarette, and I nodded with a hello and went inside. I went in with my family and the bartender who I had previously met and interacted with, acted very cold and uninviting. We finally got our beers and played a round of pool. I went to get my brother a second beer and the bartender told me she couldn't serve us anymore due to an incident involving another bar patron with an over-serve the night before (on her part). There was also a point made about the fact that I tried to pull into the parking lot incorrectly. The regular that was standing outside had called the new owner and informed her that me and my family (very new to Milliken/Johnstown/Windsor) shouldn't be served, due to my incorrect turn into the bar. I have to call The Alibi OUT. This treatment of myself and my family was uncalled for, embarrassing, and inappropriate. I realize that you have regulars. I have been a general manager, bar manager, bartender, server, and much more in a restaurant setting. I have never treated new patrons of the neighborhood this way EVEN on a "regular's" word. Open your eyes. Your neighborhood is growing. And you need to be less judgmental and rude to new patrons and more questionable of regulars who do not want new people in their bar. I am appalled at the way that this new owner handled the situation. I hope that this ONE regular brings in as much business as I attempted to bring you tonight.
