We just needed a bartender to serve the beer and wine at a company reception. Our bartender was on-time, friendly, and self-sufficient. He'd called earlier in the week to verify the location (we were in the warehouse of a nursery--an odd location to be sure), which put me at ease that they were organized and prepared. He brought the bar and set up shop quickly. He was great with our guests and did a great job. I can't say enough about how easy to work with they were. I'd recommend them without hesitation and would definitely use them again. read more

We hired With a Twist for our May 2013 wedding and they were the only vendor I was disappointed with. The people I dealt with at the company over the phone were fine but the bartender that came to our event was pretty terrible. I'll grant that our venue was somewhat difficult (an elevator and 2 flights of stairs) but I told the company that ahead of time. The transgressions: First, we had put out a jar that said "Honeymoon Fund. You are our guest and we will tip the bartender on your behalf, no tips necessary." The bartender pushed it aside and put out her own tip jar. Not cool. When my husband told her we didn't want the tip jar out she kept the (decent amount of money, it had been out for an hour) that was in it and proceeded to argue with him. Eventually the tip jar went behind the bar but you don't expect to argue with a bartender at your wedding. Next, she complained to several of our guests about what a pain the venue was. So sorry lady, things my guests shouldn't have to hear about. Plus, we paid you. It's not like you're pouring wine out of the kindness of your heart. Further, she didn't have to carry or even do that much. We had brought all the alcohol up in advance. Next, (yes, it keeps going) she disappeared multiple times during the night. It's cool, people will just help themselves to the wine. Next, at the end of the night she continued to complain to our wedding party and told them to carry the empty wine bottles out to the recycling. It wasn't her job, she told them. Finally, and probably most egregiously, after she kept the first hours tips AND we tipped her out at the end of the night (as well as let her keep some of the extra beer) she told her company that we didn't tip her and that we would tip her using the visa card on file. Thankfully they called to check with me before charging but it's pretty insane to get terrible service and then get an urgent sounding phone message from With a Twist only to have them ask for more money for a tip. Totally insane. Look, maybe other bartenders that work for this company are fine and maybe they shouldn't have sent a solo woman bar tender to a venue with lots of stairs but that shouldn't have been my problem. Impressively disappointing. read more

Let me start out by saying how great the staff was; friendly, always smiling, extremely knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make my event run that much smoother not once did I have to worry about the guys behind the bar, they were phenomenal. I saved thousands by being able to use my own liquor and had two professional bartenders show up and amaze. And to top it off they helped me load all the extra into my sisters vehicle. If I could give A 6 starts I would but 5 will have to do. read more

I would definitely recommend this company. They were great from the very beginning on arranging to have somebody at my barbecue on August 10, 2019. Angela was beyond great. Very friendly and sociable. She was also offering to help out with anything else beyond her duties. read more

With a Tiwst was great! I hired them for a company party to serve around 100 people and the service was great. The bartender showed up on time, was dressed professionally and brought everything. With a Twist truly is a one stop shop for all of your party beverage needs. They supply all of the non-alcoholic drinks as well as ice, cups, etc and it's great. The setup was very professional and classy looking. We also loved our bartender! She had a great personality, did a really good job and helped us have a wonderful evening! read more

We were forced to use this bartender due to contract obligations with our venue and once all was said and done they did a fine job. We did not have a full bar only beer and wine plus non alcoholic refreshments which they were really good about always keeping full and available. They were very friendly with the bridal party in keeping their drinks full. The planning stage was very minimal, and they were prompt at responding. All in all they did a good job and would get a solid recommendation. read more

With a Twist provided the bartender for me and my wife's wedding. Michael arrived promptly on time and set up to serve the drinks we provided plus the infusion juice bar. Greg (the owner) was great to work with, was accommodating to any changes we wanted to make as the date approached, and very responsive to emails/phone calls. Since we were only serving beer and wine we considered not having a bar tender but it was well worth the price to have a friendly professional taking care of the bar so we were free to enjoy our reception. Thanks Michael and Greg! read more

We had our wedding in Westminister CO last week and our venue only allowed With a Twist as their allowed bartending service. My husband and I had both bartended for years so we were sad we couldn't use any of our bartender friends at our event. Turns out our bartender was amazing! His name was Trent and he was so fun and kind. He really added to the feel of our bar. He helped set up and take down, far beyond what was required of him. He was polite to me and every guest as well as the girls we had working our wedding. He truly helped make the night complete and we could not have been more pleased! read more

Our daughter got married in August. We hired With a Twist to handle the bar tending. Our bartenders were helpful, skillful and eager to please. We had a full bar including a special wedding cocktail. They served our guests quickly, efficiently and with a smile. I was able to save a substantial amount of money by providing my own liquor. With a Twist provided everything else we needed. It worked out incredibly well. We had a couple of glitches early on which were handled on the spot by the bartenders. With a Twist management also followed up with me the next day. With a Twist helped to make the wedding a special day for all of us. read more

We hired With A Twist Bartending Service for our wedding (August 2010) and could not have been more pleased. The staff was incredible: professional, efficient, and responsive. Many of our guests remarked how good they were, and as the bride-and-groom, we received even more special attention. We loved the specialty drinks, and we especially loved the fact that all the alcohol was purchased by them at discounted prices (passed onto us) and we were able to keep all that we didn't use! Greg and Katie run this operation and were fantastic to work with through all phases of pre-planning, purchasing, and day-of logistics. Easy, affordable, and stress-free. They made it all come together perfectly! read more

I hired With A Twist for a small non-profit fundraiser and was delighted with the service our bartender, Trent, provided. He was on time and prepared, and made great use of the limited bar we provided. Guests were happy and everything went smoothly! Having a professional bartender at our event provided the class and professionalism I wanted. Will definitely hire With A Twist again! read more

I live in Denver and got married in the Chicago area and With a Twist was awesome and soo accommodating! They picked up my liquor for me, set up and tore down without every really even needing to bother me. I was so busy the day of the wedding, it was great to have a reliable person to count on for my guests that love to drink! Great Job! read more

I've been looking for a bar service with a liquor license to staff my event and stumbled upon With a Twist bartending services, which made me very happy because they are black owned and that theme ties into my event. We spoke, discussed the details, and I was supposed to receive a quote within 15 minutes of the conversation. Two hours passed and I still hadn't received anything so I sent a text to follow up, she was on other calls after me which held her up a bit (totally understandable) to which she said I would receive it that evening. I then received a call back expressing some concern with the event details, she was concerned that she might be competing with another bartender service (why does that matter? You're still getting paid) to which I resolved (or so I thought) by stating that the other bartender was just going to serve mixed drinks and not advertise her services. I was told I'd receive the quote before the end of the evening. I still have not received the quote and they have been ignoring my calls and texts since, very VERY unprofessional. I don't know why they couldn't just say they were unable to do it under the circumstances. I would have understood and kept them as a contact for future events but this experience has caused them to burn a bridge before it was even built. It's so sad, I hope she does better because that ain't it. read more

With a Twist provided a bartender for our retirement party at the Fleming Mansion. They were great to work with. Megan arrived on time and very efficiently got the bar organized and ready for business. She provided great service to our guests throughout the evening and left as efficiently as she came. I would definitely hire them again. read more
