Nate was fantastic to work with - prompt, professional, clear, and thorough. I felt completely at ease working with him and knew that everything bar-related would go off without a hitch. As people who support the idea of going local, it was a plus for us that he uses local, fresh ingredients and even makes his own syrups. The oak barrel bar is very attractive and looked great at our reception. Our guests loved the drinks and continue commenting on how friendly and knowledgeable Nate was. I'd definitely seek out Garnish again for any other event where bar service is required and would recommend them 100% to anyone looking!

We made last minute changes and he was always willing to help as well as provided us with awesome suggestions and advice. He really went above and beyond to help us with our big day. We rented the whiskey barrel bar and it was beautiful! Rebecca and Jacquie were the bartenders for our event and did an incredible job. They were so helpful and friendly. Our guests adored them and couldn't stop commenting on how wonderful they were. Nate even stopped by during cocktail hour to congratulate us and to make sure that we had everything we needed. Working with Garnish was one of the best experiences of our entire wedding! I highly recommend that you use Garnish for your next event, you will not be disappointed!

He'd called earlier in the week to verify the location (we were in the warehouse of a nursery--an odd location to be sure), which put me at ease that they were organized and prepared. He brought the bar and set up shop quickly. He was great with our guests and did a great job. I can't say enough about how easy to work with they were. I'd recommend them without hesitation and would definitely use them again.

The people I dealt with at the company over the phone were fine but the bartender that came to our event was pretty terrible. I'll grant that our venue was somewhat difficult (an elevator and 2 flights of stairs) but I told the company that ahead of time. The transgressions: First, we had put out a jar that said "Honeymoon Fund. You are our guest and we will tip the bartender on your behalf, no tips necessary." The bartender pushed it aside and put out her own tip jar. Not cool. When my husband told her we didn't want the tip jar out she kept the (decent amount of money, it had been out for an hour) that was in it and proceeded to argue with him. Eventually the tip jar went behind the bar but you don't expect to argue with a bartender at your wedding. Next, she complained to several of our guests about what a pain the venue was. So sorry lady, things my guests shouldn't have to hear about. Plus, we paid you. It's not like you're pouring wine out of the kindness of your heart. Further, she didn't have to carry or even do that much. We had brought all the alcohol up in advance. Next, (yes, it keeps going) she disappeared multiple times during the night. It's cool, people will just help themselves to the wine. Next, at the end of the night she continued to complain to our wedding party and told them to carry the empty wine bottles out to the recycling. It wasn't her job, she told them. Finally, and probably most egregiously, after she kept the first hours tips AND we tipped her out at the end of the night (as well as let her keep some of the extra beer) she told her company that we didn't tip her and that we would tip her using the visa card on file. Thankfully they called to check with me before charging but it's pretty insane to get terrible service and then get an urgent sounding phone message from With a Twist only to have them ask for more money for a tip. Totally insane. Look, maybe other bartenders that work for this company are fine and maybe they shouldn't have sent a solo woman bar tender to a venue with lots of stairs but that shouldn't have been my problem. Impressively disappointing.

And, as it turns out I again get to call out Party Host Helpers, LLC and their staff for providing excellence in their service and management. From start to finish Bridget, Party Host Helpers and her staff paid attention to all the little details and were in constant communication on all aspects and status of our affair. This was a special affair for our family.....a Passover Seder and Party Host Helpers knew what to do and how to fit in to make our affair successful. They knew who the correct individuals would be and correctly determined how many staff individuals would be needed to organize and execute all the different steps of the Seder Lunch & the Service that went along with it. I must say that it was nothing short of enlightening and enjoyable to have Party Host Helpers quietly in the background making sure everything was in place and on time. I also must call out the specific individuals that staffed our affair.....Michaila P., Jena M., and Barbra E. These three individuals/helpers simply walked in, looked around, asked a few questions, and immediately organized themselves into selected assignments. They quietly and tactfully "shushed" us out of the kitchen, all with bright smiles, and proceeded to execute on what was needed. We were simply done and not needed. Even during the service part of the affair, they were quiet and discreet. We literally hardly knew they were there. I must recognize Michaila who has assisted us on several occasions for her managerial skills. She always rises to the occasion to bring leadership and organization to the tasks at hand. My whole family simply "perks up" when they know Michaila is going to be here. Even the little grandchildren relate to her. As mentioned, this affair was a sit-down Luncheon/Passover Seder affair. There were a variety of special foods to be served at different times as well as keeping the wine glasses full. Parts of the meal were buffet style and parts were served. They made sure everything was cooked and/or warmed up correctly and served at the right time. Michaila and staff managed each piece of the lunch with expertise. Jena and Barbra were very familiar with the Seder and knew all the parts of it. In these current days of chaos in the world it is quite pleasant to have individuals with this expertise to be part of such a personal family affair. All three, Party Host Helpers, were very engaging with the children and made each child their own special "to go" box and had the boxes labeled and bagged waiting at the door for each family. The rest of the left-over meal was individually boxed, labeled, and placed in the refrigerator. Michaila, Jena and Barbra are truthfully Concierge level luxury server/individuals. In short, they knew what to do, and most importantly they knew how to get it done, all while working in the background. They were very professional and completely transparent as well as being uniquely organized. They never said "No," to requests or adjustments; as always, they only say "I'll figure it out," and they do! And last, but certainly not least, Bridget McElvain, the Regional Director of Party Host Helpers always brings a unique ability to look outside the box. With just a little bit of information she always seems to quickly know what is needed for a successful affair and then knows exactly who and how to get Party Host Helpers organized as well as keeping us appraised of all the steps that are going on. When Bridget says, "don't worry I'm on top of everything," I don't! Thank you Party Host Helpers.

I have had different helpers, but they are all trained to jump in with anything your party needs. Prep, refilling food, serving food, and cleaning up. You can actually enjoy your guests because someone else is tending to the food and drinks, cleaning up plates, and taking the garbage out. And by the time the party is over, all of the food is in containers and packed in the fridge. I highly recommend this company for your next party!
