Evergreen Academy has been such a wonderful place for our family. All three of my kids started their elementary school journey here, and we have loved being part of this community. The teachers are incredible--they truly get to know each child and their family, and the small class sizes make such a difference in the individual attention students receive. One of the things I appreciate most is how well they support social-emotional learning. They help kids build confidence, kindness, and a real sense of community. My oldest went from Kindergarten through 4th grade, and I currently have a 1st grader and a 4th grader at Evergreen. If you are looking for a private Kindergarten in this area, look no further! Mrs Allen (my child's teacher) and Ms Ashmore are the BEST at what they do! They are caring, capable and approachable. The school offers individualized learning plan which is hard to find. The principal Amy and officer manager Darcy are SO awesome! They also got the BEST specialist teachers too, like Ms Taber and Ms Chou. The kids could choose to learn French or Spanish. You could order school lunch which is a big plus. read more

Our son, who is now in fifth grade, has severe anxiety and did poorly in his overcrowded old public school. We pulled him out of his old school because he had refused to go. Evergreen Academy Bothell was the best decision we've ever made for him. His teacher, Ms Amy Morey, an award-winning teacher, is not only highly competent, but she is also caring and passionate about her job. During PT conferences, she would not only give us a detailed account of how our son was doing overall, but was also able to give us helpful book recommendations about anxiety. I appreciate her knowledge about the most recent research findings on anxiety in the classroom, because as a parent, this enables me to help my son at home. Ms Ball, also an award-winning professional in education (principal), is an exemplary leader of the school. Parent-teacher conferences, student reporting and the curriculum are all customized to our child's needs. It's not surprising to learn that our son is THRIVING at Evergreen. He is making strides academically and socially. It's most rewarding to learn how our son just LOVES school now! Fifth grade is an academic transition into middle school, one that is challenging for many kids. We are happy that Evergreen Academy is making this transition so much easier for our son. It's just a shame that Evergreen Academy Bothell does not go up until middle school. Otherwise, we would definitely enroll our son here. read more

Most of our daughters neighborhood friends attend classes of near 30 students with one teacher at the local public schools. She is in a class of less than 15 with a single classroom teacher and a number of more subject focused teachers working with her and her classmates. In first grade she surprised a store teller by knowing how much money she would have left if she bought a toy she wanted. She gets to attend a number of arts and sciences programs every year. Studies French (has tried Spanish as well). Students at Evergreen are immersed in an environment that instills the love of learning. The community is awesome, and the faculty is always warm and welcoming. The Principal, Mrs. Ball is simply the greatest educator and leader for a school that I have ever met. She treats every child as if they were her own and as an individual. We couldn't be happier with Evergreen Academy. read more
