Do not recommend this school. Very few teachers seem to actually like their job here. This school was good until they changed superintendents, and the elementary principal left. Then Covid happened and they were flooded with kids. Classes are too big. If you have a child with any kind of learning disability or anything this is not a good school at all. They barely make accommodations and don't have IEP and 504 programs to help. One year my child's teacher yelled at the class all the time. Kids with parents on campus get special treatment, and this school is very inconsistent with discipline. There are also drugs on campus. read more

Cedar Park Christian is consistently excellent - caring compassionate teachers. If you are looking for perfection - no, they're not perfect. But the school routinely tests above the state standards, and it's alumni excel around the world. Plus good moral foundations founded on Biblical principles. read more

As a K-12 alumni, I think it's a true testament to this school that I am now a teacher here! Not only that, but my children are going here as well. While we are at the Mill Creek Campus, the ethics and principles are the same. We have always get welcomed and loved here. My teachers at cedar park are the reason why I wanted to be a teacher! Great school with caring and respectful teachers and administrators. Great classic curriculum without the crazy 'extras'. Parents are also respected as the experts of their own children. I have 2 kids in this school (elementary and middle school) and we couldn't be happier. We moved here from Kirkland public schools 2 years ago and it is a huge improvement in academics, overall behavior of the students, parent involvement, and even the food. Since this is a Christian school, it's curriculum is Christian based -that should not surprise anybody. Many of the bad reviews on yelp are interesting... written by teenagers perhaps? read more

Extremist religion fortunately tempered by truly excellent academic curriculum/programs. Applaudable English classes in particular. The physical education classes are horrendous and potentially destructive. I very much enjoyed my education via CPCS. I particularly remember Robert Allen, who was an exemplary Bible class teacher. He warmed my heart - something many teachers at CPCS fail to accomplish. The absolute worst aspect of this school, though, is the "school retreat." I will avoid going into detail, but it is reprehensible at best. Cedar Park Christian School is an original educational experience that I value and recommend. Well-worth the money. read more

My niece attends this school and every time I come and drop her off, or pick her up, I am met by the teacher who is possibly the nicest person on this planet. My niece loves the school and has never complained about having to go. Her classmates are good kids and well behavior and never experienced any bullying type of issues. The facility is kept up well and sometimes the pickup line in the parking lot can get a little hectic but then again, they have wonderful workers that are at every corner helping keep order and the flow going. We considered this school as an alternative for our kids since we have friends who have had stellar experiences here but opted for another option. One important note after reading some of the reviews here - this K-12 school has a completely separate administration to the preschool. It is also run independently of Cedar Park Church. The Bothell campus has smaller class sizes than public schools, but is quite a bit larger than the Bellevue campus. (This could probably be either a pro or a con depending on family preference.) Christian values and doctrine drive educational philosophies and daily activities. The staff have a faith based approach to problem solving and interpersonal relationships with students. As a K-12 campus, the facilities are BEAUTIFUL - including extensive sporting fields. We also appreciate their efforts to work with neuro-diverse students. We might consider this school in the future for our kids. read more

This school is terrible! My daughter attended 3's preschool for half a year until we moved her to a new school. First of all, they charge a $500 non-refundable registration fee... among other fees. On the first day of class they handed out a slip of paper requesting that a $50 "supply fee" be paid, as well as a list of cleaning items to bring to class (facial tissues, Clorox wipes, paper towels, etc). Apparently, the first $500+ didn't cover any of that. This is for twice a week, three hours a day, preschool. The classroom itself was dull and old looking. It had stains on the floor, the toys were very used and the teacher seemed too old to be handling a class of twelve 3 year olds (she was in her late 60's/early 70's maybe). For the price of tuition & fee's you would think that they would replace the carpet and supply newer toys. I also heard, but cannot prove, that the preschool and daycare teachers are paid minimum - or close to minimum. Which is unacceptable and explains why their preschool has such high turnover. So, where is all that $ going! It's not for the building or school supplies, that's for sure. As the year moved along, the teacher failed to tell me about multiple classroom incidents. My daughter was telling me about another kid in class who would constantly hit her and bully her. I asked the teacher about this and she confirmed that, yes, this was an issue happening in class. Why wasn't I told? Why was this continually happening without corrective action? I was having to hear about classroom issues from my 3 year old instead of her teacher which is a huge red flag. In December I emailed the preschool director to unenroll my daughter, and got no response. Instead, they sent me a bill for the remainder of the years tuition, plus a photocopy of the financial agreement I signed 6 months earlier. Even though she wasn't attending, they said I needed to pay through he rest of the school year because I put in a written withdrawal notice two days after their "official" withdrawal date. Aside from my experiences, this school lacks general safety, timely communication and accurate record keeping. I have never once seen a school security officer, if they even have one. One of my tuition payments was "lost", so they tried to bill me for it. I had to provide them with a bank statement proving that it was paid. Multiple emails sent to various staff members at this location were either never replied to or got a response days/weeks later. The playground the preschool kids use has a cell phone tower in it... literally! For pick up, the preschoolers wait on the sidewalk as a group while parents pull up and load their children - which can get chaotic. Drop off was just as chaotic. The adults had to walk into the classroom to sign a sheet for drop off... which seemed strange because no one monitors the door. Parents and kids were all piling in at once. After I decided to withdraw, they sent me a letter saying she wasn't allowed to attend school anyway due to not having a 3rd Hep B vaccine... Did no one check that when we enrolled? I guess it didn't matter when we were paying them! My point: Go elsewhere for preschool if you have a little one. I would never recommend this school to anyone. read more

I went here and it kinda sucked. Probably not worth the money. The math was alright but the teachers weren't. English is good. What really sucks is that there is not a lot of electives to choose from. PE can go die if there is not a good teacher. Bible classes are more of a joke and a catch up class than an actual theology class. Even chapel is annoying to attend. The songs are all the same and empty while the preachers can be decent rarely. Science class was probably the best but thats not saying much. Band class was an absolute flop once the best teacher left. History class was fun, i gotta give em that. This school is awesome up until 6th grade where it went downhill very freaking fast. read more

My expectations were too high for this 'Christian' school. When we made a visit, the reception we got from the principal's office was condescending, rude and dismissive. Think we'll keep our kids in public school, where they treated us kindly, warmly, and with respect as if they really wanted our kids to attend there. Horrible school the elementary is wonderful but middle school is hell the teachers are horrible and sometimes even rude the worst teachers are Mrs abdala and Mrs Morris Mrs abdalla gives u bad grades no matter what. Mrs Morris never teaches they both spend most of their time on there phones and there not doing work there texting. The food is horrendous they jacked up the prices and the milk has been expired many times!!!! read more

Our oldest son just completed his third year at CPCS, and our youngest is about to enroll in the Fall. We have loved our time here. Our son has been known and loved by every one of his teachers. And we've felt loved on as a family! Teacher communication has been fantastic with lots of newsletters and updates home about classroom activities, and completely open access to talk with the teachers and staff as questions arise. When our son encountered a problem with one student at recess, it was so well handled -- the staff was very proactive in responding and following up with us. We felt like our son (and we) had been really well taken care of through it, with care given to the other student as well. A great deal of time and attention is devoted to character development which we've loved. The Christian values woven throughout the learning and environment are so evident, and our son has grown in his faith and knowledge about what it is to live a Godly life. There is a big emphasis on textbook learning, but teachers are good at meeting students where they are and offering additional challenge if needed. Our son is performing well ahead of public school grade level in every area. The things he learned this year in 2nd grade I don't think I did until at least 4th grade, and yet they were doing it with proficiency and eagerness. Love how they also use the high school students as role models for the elementary and middle school. High schoolers serve as TAs in the classroom, and are involved in things like field day and coaching for sports camps. Our son loves that he knows some of the big kids, and they're all so friendly and kind. We're house hunting for a new home, and our son specifically asked that no matter where we move he still be able to continue at CPCS. He loves it! read more

I have two children who have graduated from Cedar Park and several more who still attend. Both of my graduates were very well prepared for college. One was recently accepted into a very selective PHD program at the University of Washington. When she arrived at her first day, she found another Cedar Park student had been accepted as well. There are several high school teachers who have been there for many years who are simply top notch. They care deeply for their students and it shows through the success of their students once they leave Cedar Park. This is a Christian School. It does not hide that fact and families should expect it to be a part of their experience. We've had a very positive experience at the school. read more

After moving to Bothell, WA, we looked at many Christian schools in the area, and we choose Cedar Park Christian School, which was a wonderful decision. Not only did my children receive a great education, but a great CHRISTIAN education which is priceless! Also my daughter was entering into ninth grade when we moved to the area, and my fear was that she would have a hard time adjusting to a new school, and making new friends. My fears vanished immediately, because the kids at Cedar Park were so incredibly friendly and welcoming to my daughter, I was stunned. My daughter now has amazing friends in her life that definitely are "parent approved". Thank you Cedar Park for that added bonus! read more

This school lacks leadership, quality curriculum, and safety. This is possibly one of the worst private schools that your child could attend. As a parent you will find very little you can do about it. It is far bellow the state standards. It is more like vacation Bible school, text driven assignments, very little technology, and over crowded. read more
