Complimentary breakfast

Located away (20 minutes?) from the base, but worth it. Suite with kitchenette that is awesome, bed feels ok-comfy. Complimentary breakfast; doable...Staff; courteous and helpful. Again, worth the drive!

truly great deal for the price! less than $70 a night for a full apartment style hotel room. very clean, staff is friendly, and bed was comfy. Everything about our stay was pleasant. the "semi-continental breakfast" was a normal continental breakfast consisting of cereal, muffins, bagels, Danishes, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and OJ. the town itself is far from entertaining, but there are a few decent restaurants, the outlet mall, and Cabelas right down the street. The next door navy exchange is also quite big. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again if ever in the Seattle area again!

Pretty decent hotel at a cheap rate for those eligible to take advantage of this place. The have remodeled in the last year or two and last night I got a notice all the mattresses were being replaced over the next 2 days. The only downfalls to this place is that the breakfast is a grab and go breakfast ( hard boiled eggs, one cereal, bagels, muffins, and Danishes) which is fine unless you're expecting a full breakfast and it's only 2 stories so there isn't an elevator which can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage and get a room on the second floor. No gym but they do have a laundry room (1.00 for the washer and .75 for the dryer) and vending machines. All rooms have kitchenettes with a 2 burner stove, microwave, fridge, sink, and dinnerware

Affordable, Clean, and a friendly staff. If you have kids, you must take them to Imagination Children's Museum which is a short drive to Everett.

Not sure why this hotel is on Yelp. It's not open to the public. Only for Active Duty, Military families, retirees and DoD. The room we got is clean with a full kitchen, bed is comfy, had a good night sleep, service is phenomenal. Quiet area, no elevators, so if you are disabled ask for a room on the first floor. My husband and I stayed one night during our trip to Washington, would have stayed here our entire trip but it's quite a drive (45 mins - 1 hour) from Seattle where most of our plans were. They can do better with the continental breakfast but at least its free. The decor, layout and paint is a bit outdated so don't expect anything Ikea or fancy here. They have a clean laundry room downstairs, vending machines, free coffee and DVD rental. Next door there is a NEX, NEX gas station, convenience store and a Navy Federal ATM machine (no branch). Seattle Premium Outlets and Tulalip Casino is a mile away.

The room I was given included a king bed, two desks with one having wheels, an office chair, sofa, bookshelf, TV, wardrobe, kitchenette including a dishwasher and fridge plus dishes, and bath. Be sure to push in the room key into the light holder near the door to access all lights. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were supportive. I have a bad back and didn't have any pain in the morning. Quiet room at the end of the hallway. There's a train that goes by; I barely heard it. Place was sparkling clean and everything in great shape. Shower head got hot water fast. Breakfast included is self-serve with cold cereal, make your own waffles with options to add-in like nuts and coconut, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and various parts to make your own breakfast sandwich like fried eggs, cheese, and sausage. Coffee and flavored waters available. I was amused watching guests come in who couldn't find the plates - they are in a drawer under the waffle iron. Weird curtain that hangs between the bed and sofa 3' above the floor - maybe to add some modesty/privacy if someone's sleeping on the sofa.

Initially I got in and thought "wow the sheets are really rough" and I pulled back the covers to see tiny balls in the fabric which made for a rough surface. That's fine I'll deal. But then next to the balls were black hairs. I thought okay maybe the cleaners hair got in the bed no biggy. Then I pulled back the pillows and there were long hairs under the pillows. Almost as if the bed had been slept in and bedding not changed for me. I went to check out two hours after arriving and when I explained why to Sheri she offered to put me in a new room. And I explained how grossed out I was and that I just wanted to leave. Sheri offered a new room three or four times before telling me she couldn't technically check me out until midnight. No refund offer. No offer for anything other than another room which is probably just as filthy. Very disappointed in how much hair was in my "clean" room.

Port Susan Camping Resort has been a bad experience for me and presently turned to bitter. I sold…read moremy lot but the check got lost in the mail. I asked the sales agent to replace the check and I have waited approximately 35 days! I finally asked the board to intervene. This is bad business. This is a sample of the treatment or abuse I was given at Port Susan from the sales office. Replacing a check is easy and the money is not even drawn on Port Susan, it comes from the buyer. What would happen if I were paid but the buyer could not access the lot or wasn't given a gate pass or if the sales had to wait for their commission for 35 days after the sale? I was treated so unfairly! They showed me lots for sale with BLACK MOLD.I would think I am being targeted once again but there are many complaints that have been filed about poor management, unfair fines and being targeted if you speak up. The only recourse you have is to go to Tribal court since Port Susan Camping resort is Tribal owned. If you ask me this is a conflict of interest? Bottom line, absolute power leads to absolute corruption. Port Susan is like living under communist rule: The board took a vote to install 50 amp service, the members voted against it because most trailers use 30 amp. The 50 amp was installed any way and members have to pay for it. I spoke up on Campers Chat, but PSCC has the right to determine what will be allowed to be viewed. Freedom of Speech, NOT sat Port Susan. Members have to be careful who they speak to, if they speak against unfair fines to one of "them" they will be targeted. I have been targeted by one ranger who gave me 1200.00 worth of fines in one month. There used to be one ranger who patrolled lots 24 hours a day now there are 2 or 3. You are under constant survelience and fined for violations. Port Susan changes the rules constantly. One example, the road going downhill to the laundra mat and mailbox changed the speed limit to 5 miles per hour. Try going down a hill at 5 miles per hour. I was fined 200.00 at 5:00 am. This was thrown out because no one could do this but later going down hill to the front gate is a radar controlled system. I accidentally was going 17 mph in a 15 mph and was fined 400.00 for going over the speed limit for a 2nd infraction! no where in this country has fines like this but PSCC has unlimited power and no jusidiction. If you take it Tribal Court, ( they lease the land to Port Susan you can be held liable to pay the attorney fees against Port Susan. There is less than 30 years on the lease so your membership is a poor investment. Not to mention that they have water pipe problems and boil water warnings posted periodically. If they decide to change all the water pipes the members will pay. I had rats get into my trucks. One was towed to Toyota and they found a rat. The rats got into the cab. I replaced this truck with a brand new Honda and during an oil change was notified that rat tracks were found all over my distributor cover and it was only at my site for 2 weeks!!! Many members tell the truth once they leave and abuse and mistreatment is the norm. THIS IS A FEAR BASED COMMUNITY Good luck with your purchase

My first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express & Suites and have heard my fair shares of bad reviews, but given the limited options, I figured it can't be that bad. I got a room on the first floor and didn't hear much noise coming through the night luckily. The room was pretty spacious for 2 queens and it was clean. There is a mini fridge and a microwave in your room. There's coffee and hot water 24/7 outside in the lobby. In the mornings, you get free breakfast and it's quite the spread! Very impressive by the offerings and selection (better than Hyatt Place). I had no issues and the wifi worked during my stay. Location is right off the freeway and near a few food options, as well as the outlets. I would definitely stay again if I'm looking for a place between Seattle and BC.

I was a +1 guest at La Quinta Inn and stayed for one night last month…read more Overall, I like the rooms. They are pretty basic but they are clean. The are photos and artwork along the walls. The room has ample amount of light. I like how the lamps have their own light switch along the walls by the beds instead of on the lamps themselves. There are ample amount of easy-to reach wall outlets for plugging in your electronics. As fan of tech, this is an important feature that is greatly appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised there was a microwave already included with the room. A lot of hotels nowadays charge extra for it. The TV included was a modern Samsung smart TV with many channels and apps. They had all the local basic channels and more. Some notable things that are NOT included in the rooms are instant hot tea packs but there was coffee, and no bottled water was provided. Though you can help yourself to tea, coffee and hot chocolate packs in the lobby if you wish. You'd have to get water from the tap which is apparently pretty safe to drink in Marysville, WA according to a local friend. The bathroom is nicer than I expected. It is well ventilated so any unpleasant smells quickly disappeared. There were lots of ambient lighting around the counter area. The counter was marble. I like how the washroom is spacious. An ample amount of toiletry items, creams, and gels were included. They had travel sized shower body wash, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. They didn't really smell that great so the quality isn't that great though. I like the location because its near a lot of small shops. TONS of fast food options within walking distance. Arby's, Sonic, Carls Jr, Dairy Queen, etc. There's a Wilco grocery store (similar to No Frills in Canada) and a mall across the street as well. Though if you are looking for a actual shopping mall you'd have to drive. The highlight of the stay was that there was a complimentary breakfast that starts at 6am. There were lots of options. I've included lots of pics of the food available for breakfast. They had waffles with maple syrup and whipped cream, muffins, greek yogurt, cereal, toasted bagels, bacon and sausages with creamy sausage sauce, scrambled eggs, and diced potatoes. Fruit options were bananas and apples. For drinks they got tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and many types of juices. Everything was perfectly cooked and everything got replenished quickly. Yum. The dining area was plenty big as you could probably fit 30+ people in the dining area. There was a big TV screen playing the morning news. I arrived around 6:45 am and there were only a handful of hotel guests in the lobby/breakfast dining area, but it quickly ramped out around 8am. A few negatives are that the room I got overlooked a parking lot and nothing much else so views aren't the best, and the sound of train horns passing by was heard pretty frequently. Also, the walls are not very soundproof. Sometimes I can hear loud conversations from other hotels guests and kids with parents. 4 out of 5 stars based on this hotel stay. La quinta Inn in Marysville is a solid option for a hotel room in the area.

The front desk little mini mart has most of the immediate conveniences you could have forgotten at home. Check in was quick and friendly. There is room service from the on site restaurant. Everett seems to have big plans for the port area. It's nice just to have a walk around period even if it is not so developed at the moment. The staff at this time was posting nearby activities on announcements in the elevator. There was a halloween event on during our visit. The pool area looked nice and well maintained although we did not partake. No complaints. It's a nice new hotel with neat decor and a charmingly decorated lobby. We did not have a room with a balcony but the staff reports the balcony rooms do have locks for basic childproofing concerns. We found this room pretty child safe/easily childproofable. Wyndham Gardens Arlington is now the Hotel Arlington. It is now an INDEPENDENT hotel with new…read moreowners and management. FORGET the old reviews, under the new owners this is a quiet gem tucked away in an unlikely spot - next to a storage rental place, but that is a plus - it is off the busy road and nice and quiet. The Arlington is beautiful. Unlike similarly-priced hotels like the Hilton Express (and the super-crappy LaQuinta) in Marysville, this a luxurious, gorgeous hotel, with dark wood paneling and brass fittings, a beautiful entry in the middle of two water feature coy ponds, a relaxing and well-decorated lounge, and really good management, under General Manager, Lema. Use your GPS to find the turn - if you pass a storage unit business you just missed it. It is part of a larger building with offices first, keep going about 50 feet and you will be in the drop off area. We good a King bed corner room, and the first thing that made me happy -well, the second, because the first was true concierge check-in by Lema) were the TWO marble-topped vanities, both with hair dryers! One in the room, and one in the roomy bathroom. Well lit, and no fighting for a mirror when you are getting ready to go to an event, like a concert at Tulalip. (BTW there is a shuttle to the casino and back, up to 2 a.m.) The squeaky-clean room had all the amenities - A modern Visio TV screen, an upholstered chair to relax in with a standing linen lamp to read and relax by, a desk (marble top) and a dresser (I hate not having a dresser, even for an overnight stay) a mini fridge and easy to use coffee maker/water heater. The creamy taupe shades made a lovely ambient light, the bed was comfy, with plenty of pillows and extra bedding in a drawer; closet had a double mirror, ironing board and iron, and the hotel soaps were nice. Everything in the room worked. Plenty of water pressure, the switches and plug-ins, the remote, and heating and cooling. That seems like it should be a given, but so many badly run hotels do so poorly checking these things. I should note that we did not have a reservation, so they didn't check it last-minute, it was ready. I DO recommend reservations though, this sweetheart hotel won't be a secret long. The pool was open and clean, with a whirlpool next to it. Not huge, but not crowded with clean dressing rooms and towels. I went down in the morning and splashed around with some kids that were there with their folks, which was fun. The exercise room was not elaborate, but again clean and the machines worked. The breakfast fare was pretty standard but plenty of choices - coffee, tea, pastrys, fruit, four kinds of cereal, yogurt... The hot breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage -all well cooked and warm little pancakes and syrup...I don't remember everything except that the woman running it was as nice and accomodating as she could be, and kept things stocked. If you are going to Marysville and want a way nicer than standard cookie cutter hotel experience, this is the place. Note: Don't mix it up with the Arlington Motel, and you might find old reviews under Wyndam Gardens. Ignore those. But don't tell everybody - you will want a room available if you decide on a last minute night out at the Casino. BTW the restaurant is not open, and probably won't be, which is fine. It is hard to keep a restaurant going, but you may see old reviews that talk about it. It helps keep the rooms affordable.
