So, after my first visit I was shocked and pleased that my rash disappeared. But...It came back with a vengeance. I've learned through this process that these pesky buggers might lay down and be quiet for a minute but it takes a process to get rid of them. I've continued to be impressed by the team at HHA with how patient they are with me. I've now had Major Autohemotherapy as well as some IV cocktails to help combat the infection in my body and it's been an educational and eye opening process. I love that Dr. Wakely and his team focus on finding out what's going on with ME and don't just pick up a textbook and say well, it must be this and if what we doesn't respond then there must not be anything wrong with you. The journey to find out what's going on can be long, frustrating and discouraging so prepare to buckle up and let this team do what they do because they're good at it! I was also able to fly my dad, who is having some heart issues, in from out of state and Dr. Wakely has been able to shed some light on this situation and make some suggestions that, while they seem so obvious, have never been brought up by any team of medical professionals. I had a specific injury and already knew the diagnosis and the treatment plan; I was there to discuss my bone scan, my overall bone structure and specific joint issues. I wanted a wholistic evaluation. He came in, looked at my scan, looked at my foot (I had a walking boot on; obvious injurY), and said, "Yes, you have a stress fracture. Come back in 6 weeks for an evaluation." I explained that I knew about my foot, and that was not my concern, and started to explain what I wanted from that visit. He completely ignored my concerns. He kept cutting me off, and told me that my concerns were irrelevant and when I insisted that we review my scans, one by one, he said that he has other patients to see. I was in there for 15 minutes! He also took my questions and continued concerns as a personal insult and spent more time talking about his expertise and education than he spent on my scans/pain. He said that he didn't care for bone scans or MRIs and felt that examining the patient was a better approach. He took a look at my legs and said, "I don't see any leg length discrepancy"--when I had provided x-ray results with measurements showing a 1cm discrepancy in my femur. When I brought it up, he interrupted with "It doesn't matter." Just absurd! He also touched me a lot; I had shorts on and he kept touching my thigh and my arms and saying things like, "Now, young lady..." It was the most ridiculous, dreadful medical professional experience I have ever EVER had. WORST.

He was too old to qualify for mine and his new job benefits don't kick in for awhile. An ER trip, a cast and a little bit later and he had his follow up appointment here. Initially, they refused to see him without payment, in full, up front. After a second referral from Evergreen Hospital and a week went by, they agreed to just the new patient fee and a payment towards any total cost. The visit was about an hour, he lost the cast, was given exercises and stretches, a release to limited-duty work and an appointment in two weeks to see how he heals. He seems satisfied, if not bewildered by the medical bills he'll now have, but thought he received good care and respectful treatment from Dr. Boyer. Firstborn is ok, and that's what matters most to Mom.

I'm a cancer survivor, among other stuff. Nothing about my care is easy, straightforward. Some of my troubles have taken years to bring under control. Dr Hodne is the best partner, life coach, and caregiver anyone can ask for. She and her team have gone above and beyond for me, time and again. Two strategies are proven to improve patient outcomes. Constructive long-term relationships, obviously. Emphasizing wellness over treating disease. Knowing this, I enthusiastically supported Greenlake's switch to a concierge model. The concierge model is a rejection of our nation's immoral, inefficient, profiteering fee-for-service model. It's a return to our Rockwell-esque notions of the family doctor. It allows doctors to spend as much time as needed with a patient, to do research, to coordinate all the referrals, to do battle with insurers, etc. No one is getting rich in family practice. Or running an independent clinic. Do the math, read the news. The providers at Greenlake Primary Care are making huge sacrifices. Just to keep the lights on. Just to deliver actual healthcare. Yes, concierge requires memberships to make it work. Until our nation adopts Medicare For All, it's the best available option. I chose to be a member, despite living off credit cards (at the time), because I wanted to get better. I chose correctly. You can too.

The way that this location is set up, included a short term, hallway, and a long-term hallway, the cleanliness of the areas were pretty good, and the overall facility did show a movie area, and boardgame area. I don't expect any location to be perfect, I did see a lot of seemingly happy family members visiting there, family while passing through the hallways... There was one spot that smelt of urine, but perhaps that was being addressed. Overall, I think if you are looking for someplace that your family needs to stay at, this is a good spot to begin your tour, and see.

Her post op care required a wound vac and a facility that was equipped to change it out every 3 days. This facility came up as qualified for this specific care. They approved the care order. After being there for a week, my mother's wound vac hadn't been changed and when I called to find out what was going on , I was told Benito was the only one trained to switch it out and he didn't work weekends. Left early for an "emergency" This was a Friday night. It should have already been switched out by this point I called and made a fuss. This care is the difference between keeping or losing her leg. Benito came back in on his day off to do the required care we paid for. When he went to change the vac out he ripped the bandage off my mother's open wound and caused tremendous pain. So much so my mom too afraid to let the staff know when she was having any discomfort. After that incident they were cold and distant with her and rude with me when I visited. She came home before she was ready because we were both concerned about elderly abuse. I would like to think anyone in this profession would treat people the way they would want their parents to be treated. Amazingly after this incident , they had another nurse do wound vac changes. Today we received a $3000 bill after being told her stay was covered by insurance. No itemized charges. Just 3/1 and cost of service. From the facility.

Some of the negative posts are very likely from people that may have an opioid issue/addiction - which this practice will not tolerate and random urine tests are taken which I have heard complain about why they will not keep you as a patient.
