The inspection was very thorough (like 67 pages thorough) and the insoector explained everything to us. He negotiated our messy house with a 15 month old running around with great care and following covid protocols. Highly reccommend

They answered all questions I had regarding the process and the actual inspection. They were able to get me scheduled in under 24 hours, which was important because of an encroaching deadline. What ultimately swayed my decision to use Truview was the price. Other competitors, after offering a military discount - which Truview does not - still ran $100 above Truview's cost and didn't include the wind mitigation and four point inspection. The inspector (Armanni) was great - he arrived ahead of schedule and was polite and professional, and was very clear with his explanation of findings. The report was received within approximately an hour of the inspection completion, and all 97 pages detailed every possible deficiency you could imagine - from serious to ridiculously cosmetic. After receiving my report, I was unable to send the 4-point and wind mitigation reports by email for our insurance quotes. A quick call to Truview remedied that, and within 10 minutes each report was sent individually by email to permit easy transmission to the insurance company. Very happy with our choice.

I am Happy to say that I can highly recommend Michael Potts to Inspect your prospective home…read more We found a condo that my wife and I wanted to buy. We called Michael and he was able to schedule an inspection for the condo that we wanted buy and sign sales contract as a buyer. Michael and his son Mario showed up to do the inspection, for what ever reason three agents were there telling me that he inspected the same condo several months earlier and I was wasting my money. They were rude to Michael saying that they fixed the items he found last time. As it turns out they lost a buyer because of the issues that Michael had found. Micheal explained that he worked for the buyer and to please let him do his job. I told him we still wanted him to inspect and to verify what we were being told. Micheal was able to pull the last inspection to verify that the items that failed the previous inspection. He reassured me that he and Mario would reinspect everything and let me know where each item stood. Mario went into every craw space, cabinet and closet to ensure I would have no issues. Thankfully, in walking around the house with Michael, he was able to educate me on the issues he found and verify the new items had been fixed. He checked the new AC, appliances and the electrical to ensure that they were installed correctly. From Michaels advice I was able to sit down with the homeowner, we were able to get them to correct the items Micheal had found saving us money before we signed a contract. I'm so glad I was able to have Michael and Mario from Affordable Inspections help me make a smarter decision and save us some money!

The inspector missed many items, including burned, overloaded electrical receptacles, a broken refrigerator, a failed microwave, a dishwasher missing a sprayer arm, old toilet components, a broken light fixture, and a water filter system in the kitchen that was filled with sludge due to a lack of maintenance for at least a decade. Needless to say, the unidentified items cost a me a few thousand dollars to address. Although I paid for the inspection, I had the distinct feeling that the inspector was working for the Realtor, and not for me... Edit: I will add that I repeatedly attempted to contact Feldi in the weeks that followed, and left messages, but my calls were never returned.

Joe did an amazing job inspecting our new house. He was punctual, professional, extremely knowledgeable and just kind. But most importantly, he was VERY thorough with the inspection. He is very detail oriented and caught even the smallest details of the house. He took his time to deliver the best possible report. Mind you it was a big house and he didn't rush at all. After the inspection was done he made sure to explain every single item for me, even the ones I didn't fully understand he enlightened me. He was at the house until 6pm and all the reports were in my inbox the next day in the morning. Holly was just a sweetheart! Very professional, timely and kind too. Buying a house is extremely stressful and I he was able to make the process feel a bit less stressful. For that and for the VERY thorough work, I am grateful. 1000/10! Highly recommend them! Natalia

DO NOT RECOMMEND On Thursday, July 6, Joe Collins; owner,…read morecame to inspect my house that I am selling, he found rotten siding, instead of pointing it out, he ripped pieces out of my sighting all around the house. He has now damaged my house. I asked for them to fix it or pay for damages. I understand I am selling the house, but it's STILL MY HOME until papers are signed. It now could cost me a sale because of him ripping a part of my house. I have had other inspections on other houses, and everyone would point out issues but not destroy my property or someone else's. For them not to own up to what they have done is unbelievable and unprofessional, they tried saying that it just fell off when he touched it. But that's not possible when we pressure wash and touch up spots and nothing fell off, so why when Joe comes to your house, pieces magically fell off? My realtor the nices person you can meet couldn't stand the attitude that Joe had when he was at the house and then for him to do this, she has already told me she will make sure all her clients will not have them us this company. The company now is trying to find all the places I put a review to try covering there, but since I told them will write a review and contact BBB. Please do your research before hiring people around your home. Even tho I had no control of this because I'm trying to sell. But even if I was purchasing the house and saw what he did, I would be upset that he now torn up your future home, witch there nor suppose to do, there suppose to point out and take pictures. But for Joe, being the owner, he shouldn't have attitude coming to a job and being rude to everyone at the inspection.
