Ranging from snow cakes, appetizers, salads, soups, entrees and more, this is your perfect cafe destination. Looking at the menu, it took forever to order because everything looked really good. I ended up going with their popcorn chicken entree which was the perfect balance of greens, protein and carbs from their purple rice. Chicken was pretty standard for popcorn chicken but tasted hot and fresh. Their miso salmon and peppercorn ribeye steak looked really good too. I tried their sweet peach drink too which was good too, a bit sugary but was fine. I was co-working and it was honestly a great spot to just relax, eat, drink some boba and get some work done. With free Wifi, bathroom, it just was a comfortable spot and it wasn't too busy in there that it distracted us. I would most definitely come back if I was in the area and I really am intrigued about their desserts.
We stopped by here for a later dinner around 8pm; there was plenty of seating available and it seemed dog-friendly. The decorations were really cute (and fairy-tale like). The restaurant was entirely self-service, there were kiosks to order from, and our order was ready fairly quickly. We tried the Crispy chicken noodle soup and Pork chop noodle soup. It turns out both noodle soups had exactly the same broth, just different meat. I liked both noodles, but the pork chop seemed a bit more tender than the chicken. We also had the mango chrysanthemum tea which was good and not too sweet. I saw a good number of customers order shaved snow which looked good, I would definitely try that next time we're in the area!
I'm so happy I finally got the chance to try Ever After Tearoom & Eatery! Ambiance: This place is super cute and a great spot to hang out with friends. I love that they're pet-friendly too. They even have little dog bowls with water at the entrance for your pups, and you can sit at the outdoor tables if they're not service animals. Inside is pretty spacious as well. Even though there aren't a ton of tables, it doesn't feel crowded and it's easy to move around without bumping into people. Service: Ordering is simple--you can order with the cashier or use their kiosk. Once you place your order, they give you a pager that lets you know when your food is ready. Quick and easy. Food/Dessert: They offer both hot meals and desserts like rice and noodle dishes, they also have items for your dogs as well so they can enjoy , but we mainly came for the dessert. Their shaved ice is what they're most known for and wow--it's so light, fluffy, and delicious. You can add different toppings, and the portion is pretty big so it's definitely shareable. My only small wish is that the toppings lasted a little longer because once they're gone, you're left with just the ice. Overall it was really delicious and such a cute place to visit. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here. Thank you Ever After for a great experience--you'll see me again soon!

Inside decor was cute and you go up to a little kiosk near back to order yourself and then find a table. The shaved snow was very customizable and you could get almost anything on the side or added on. We ordered the Summer Farm shaved snow and it came with a variety of fruit and toppings (I added a side of boba). One plus of this place is that they actually layer in toppings within the shaved snow- definite not stingy on it! Service was friendly. It was crowded and did take a short while for the food to come out but there was a sign warning us ahead of time. Overall, definitely plan to frequent this place!
This is my go-to place for comforting snacks while getting some work done. There are plenty of seatings inside and outside. It's self-service style: you place an order at the kiosk, grab a pager, then come back to get your food when it's ready. My favorite here is the taro and pork chop oat porridge - warm, comforting, and quite healthy, with a generous portion. Their shaved ice is also delicious. Things I hope they can improve on: some of the water cups are really old and don't look sanitizing. Tables could also be cleaner sometimes. It would be great if they pay more attentions to these details. As for wifi, you can use the free wifi from Starbucks nextdoor.
Shaved snow came up as a topic at a Yelp event, and it immediately brought back some nostalgia for me. Years ago, I used to take my daughter and her friends to Snow Station & Snow Monster in Westminster/GG when she was in high school. Viral at the time but then it seemed to disappear from the scene, and I hadn't seen it in a long time. Turns out it never really went away... it's been kept alive through Korean culture as "Bingsu" (proun: ~BingSoo) , the ultra-light shaved ice dessert that looks and feels like fluffy snow but takes like ice cream (my fav). Once I connected that dot, I had to go check it out right away. I headed to ETR & Eatery in Irvine after seeing the great reviews. The space is cute and floral -- rose wallpaper, chandeliers, ivy accents...fast-casual ordering but with a charming (ok a bit girly) tea-room vibe. Varied menu too: plenty of food options, boba drinks, and multiple dessert variations. I ordered the mango carriage bingsu (their most popular). The menu says it serves 2-4. I was skeptical and alone...but challenge accepted. Yep, I finished it, and I was stuffed and a bit uncomfortable on the drive home. It's essentially a full meal disguised as dessert. Definitely shareable, though manageable if you're committed and a bit of a food-pig like me. The texture is light and airy, true shaved milky snow, not snow cone chunky ice. Fresh mango on top, sweet but not heavy. It comes with its own pudding layer, which was better than the extra crème brûlée, I added on the side (probably unnecessary). The ordering screen said up it could be up to a 30-60 minute wait during busy times. I went at 2:30 PM and it took maybe three minutes. So don't panic -- just ask how long, if you're short on time. Large front patio, dog-friendly, pleasant indoor seating. Probably not ideal for takeout since it would melt quickly but great do groups of friends or fam. Bottom line: nostalgia met curiosity, large size...conquered and I'm officially back on the shaved show/bingsu train.
Not many savory vegetarian dishes, but the one I had was delicious. I got the vegetarian fried rice, and it was the perfect warm dish after a long day. This was my first time trying black rice and it was a good combination with the rest of the vegetables. I like that you can come here to catch up with friends over a meal or even study. Lots of seating too!
One of my favorite dessert spots in Irvine! The shaved snow is really good and they have some really unique and fun flavor combinations. The pudding that they put on top of all of the shaved snow is honestly the best part. In addition to desert, they also have some healthy, savory food options, such as noodles and rice. However, I felt that the savory options weren't as good as their dessert options so I would definitely stick to disordering dessert and drinks at this place. Because they are a tea shop they have a good selection of tea and boba and specifically I really enjoy the chrysanthemum tea because there is no caffeine!

Taiwanese conjoins French cuisine Food: I had my appetite hopes on the beef noodle with rib but my fault going an hour before closing they sold out. I settled on the Crispy Chicken noodle soup with Satay broth. It was a chilly night and wanted a comforting soup. The crispy chicken was solid dark pieces and ordered extra noodles in lieu of veggies. The broth was hot temp (not lukewarm) but a little salty. It was a good compromise. Drinks: Matcha Brûlée topped with cheese foam and creme brûlée most definitely sugar in a cup and beautifully crafted as it reminded me of a frap. Osmanthus Oolong Tea good old faithful oolong floral notes - I would get again and they honor light ice. Dessert: Black Forest with blueberry jam option and add-on panna cotta. It was like a fluffy chocolate pudding ice vibes. It was light in taste on the outside and as one eats the way to the rich chocolate core. Fresh strawberries and almonds offer a sundae presentation. Easily feed 4 people! Service: The place is fairly busy thus ordering from the kiosk is necessary. This can be difficult if one is new and would like personal suggestions and help. The one staff member on bar was overwhelmed and could benefit from more employees in front house with them. Overall: would come again to try the Taiwanese beef noodle with rib during earlier hours!
Such healthy food options!! My favorite is their basil Thai chicken rice entree that comes with the black rice. The beef noodle soup is on the light soup side (healthier not oily) and the oatmeal congee is quite unique. It's truly made of oatmeal. Fried chicken is solid as expected. Service - fast casual Ambiance - fast casual, order and pick up at the counter and sit down. The air indoors could be a little better (a little stuffy indoors)
Came here on a Saturday evening and it was packed with people sitting both inside and outside. We ordered on the kiosk and since they had no buzzers left we sat down and waited to be called. It took about 20 mins to get our food. The beef noodle was humongous and super delicious. The noodles had a bite to them and the meat was super tender. The soup was also super flavorful. The basil fried rice was super unique with tons of stuff in it. I like how they use purple rice and you can defiantly taste the basil. The basil is not a light flavor so i wouldn't get it if you're not a huge fan of basil. The chicken pieces in it were also super soft. The popcorn chicken was very good. It was crispy and i was a bit skeptical about it considering they said they use white meat but it was also super tender and the batter was seasoned well. Finally the shaved ice. By this point we were pretty full (3people) since the portions were larger than expected but we have never seen a purple rice shaved ice before so we had to try it. It is unique -- purple rice and red bean along with a scoop of taro on the top. There is also pudding under all the ice. The crystal boba on the side also gave it more texture and was great. Overall super delicious and would come back if i am ever in the area. All the foods are flavored well and have a special twist to their dishes.
Ever After Tearoom & Eatery is a lovely place to have a meal or stop by for dessert. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for couples or groups. The service was pretty swift! My boyfriend and I came around opening time so we didn't have to wait long for our dessert. We ordered from a kiosk and waited patiently for our pager to buzz. We shared a strawberry matcha snow cake. This shaved ice was creamy and perfectly layered with tiramisu and mocha brûlée. The fresh strawberries added a good tart flavor to the sweet strawberry purée. Every bite was delightful, and the serving size is pretty big. It can feed 2-4 people!
We ordered the teas and they were decent, but I was blown away by the food menu. We will be back to try the food. The space is nice to hang out. Parking in this center can be a challenge during peak times. Please come and create your own adventure. read more

They closed!!! A sign on the door said they're closing in April. Came on 4/1 at 2pm and the doors were locked and chairs were stacked. They were so good and they seemed to be busy. So sad. I hope they open somewhere else. read more

A delight. I came here two times with friends and truly, I thank TB for showing me this place. The food is clean and delicious. Going with the signature dishes is a must when it's your first time visiting. Everything is well kept and gives a home-y atmosphere. You can tell from the interior design and the cute utensils that everything is done to ensure cleanliness with style. The service has been kind and quick which I'm very glad for because it helps the line go by faster for the good number of people who come by. God bless you all+ read more
After seeing them on Instagram and their Yelp profile, I was very much looking forward to dining here. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I realized I have been here before. This restaurant used to be another Taiwanese restaurant called Class 302. I guess someone else bought it and changed the name and is now a slightly different Taiwanese restaurant. First of all, it is not a tea house. I had imagined a beautifully decorated tea room where everything felt delicate, romantic and the food would be exquisitely presented. I expected a relaxing, peaceful and almost luxurious experience based on their name. I was very wrong. This is just a casual Taiwanese eatery. You place the order yourself at a kiosk, then tell the staff your number and he/she will give you a pager, Once your pager goes off, you go to the counter to collect your food and find a table inside or outside (in a courtyard shared with other restaurants in the same plaza) to eat. Then you return the tray and plates to a common area once you are done. The entire experience is very fast-food like and casual. I got Taiwanese beef noodle soup, It wasn't bad or exceptional. It was just ok to good. Their snow ice did look good. My one criticism is the name. They should not have advertised this place as a tearoom. It's misleading. read more
This place is always really busy during the lunch rush. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so when it's busy, you may need to find a seat outdoors. If you get a seat indoors, they usually have instrumental music playing overhead. It's self serve water and small bowls at the front, and you return your trays and cups yourself too after you're done eating. Food is pretty good! Today I got the beef noodle soup and Atlantic salmon Entree. The salmon didn't have too much seasoning it, but it was cooked nicely and tender. It comes with kale salad and a bit of fruits which makes the dish taste healthy! The beef noodle soup's broth is on the lighter side, but has a nice kick of minimal spice and the sour mustard veggies. Beef was also cooked really well, tender and not tough at all! I also got a side drink of Mango Sago Pomelo. The drink is a blended drink so no adjustments of ice nor sugar can be made. I usually get 50% sweetness for my drinks so this drink wasn't too sweet! The real fruit portion is only the mango chunks and Pomelo pulp, so even though it has a nice taste, wished the whole drink was made with real fruits. read more
This is Ever After Tearoom & Eatery at Irvine, California; the location is not too far from UCI. Great place for snacks and desserts, food is average to above average. Presentation is good. Nice hangout spot. Still one of the best Japanese/Taiwanese shave ice eateries in my opinion. The dishes are fusion takes of Taiwanese / Chinese food. It was Class 302 from 99 Ranch since 2005. Glad they are still around like A&J! It's dog-friendly! I see dog treats and water inside the restaurant!! Service is pretty much self serve but it's friendly. read more

My family came here for their elaborate shaved ice creations, and were so impressed! Fluffy, delicious, and flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy. I was delighted by all the textures in the taro and red bean bowl my husband and I shared. The restaurant's interior is charming with a Parisian flair. Light and bright, with soft piano music playing in the background. Conveniently located in a small shopping center near the 405, parking is ample. Service is efficient. They hand out pagers to indicate when orders are ready for pickup at the counter. The constant sound of pagers beeping is the only drawback to this system. Although we came for the shaved ice, I definitely want to go back and explore the rest of the menu. Lots of rice dishes and noodles that look amazing! read more
Parking: Ever After Tearoom & Eatery is located in a strip mall. I came on a weekday for lunch and did not have much of a difficulty getting parking. Interior: The interior is quite roomy and aesthetically pleasing. They also allow dogs in the restaurant. Service: Everything here is self served. You come in, order at a kiosk, pick up a pager for your order, find a table, pick up your food when the pager goes off, and clean the table on your own after you are done with the meal. Food: I originally wanted to try the Taro Pork Chop Porridge but unfortunately it was unavailable. I ended up getting the Crispy Chicken Noodle Soup with the Taiwanese Satay Broth. The noodles were a bit overcooked for my liking but overall it was pretty good. I also got the White Peach Breeze and shared the Black Forest Organic Snow Cake with some friends. The White Peach Breeze was a lot sweeter than I prefer even at 80% sweetness but it was still refreshing. The Black Forest Organic Snow Cake came in a pretty big portion. Unlike most of the shaved snow places in SoCal, it was actually rich and creamy. Overall, it was pretty good and I would definitely be back to try out the other things on the menu. read more

One of my favorite places in Irvine! I've only went for the shaved ice (it's literally the best shaved ice in socal) I think it's because the presentation is so pretty and the pairing of shaved ice panna cotta and fresh fruit goes very well together. I did try the meal they offer. I do think that this place offer better desserts than the dishes but that's just a personal preference. Regardless the presentation is so gorgeous! read more
My friend showed me this restaurant a few years back for their tea and snacks. Pretty decent in my opinion because I've been back a few times now! This is on a casual end where you make your order on a Kiosk, then tell an employee your number to receive a pager. Unsure why that was needed because I might as well order from the employee register at that point. So that part was confusing for us. Ambiance is casual and chill. It's a good place to grab a quick snack or a meal alongside some drinks and desserts. Things I remember trying are the popcorn chicken, porridge, and drinks. Pretty decent! read more
Cute Taiwanese fusion restaurant with a good selection of food, snow shave ice and drinks. Order is done via kiosk, and once you place an order, you ask the staff for a buzzer. There's not much "service" involved as you order on kiosk, pick up the food from counter when buzzer sounds, and even have to separate the garbage and plates, utensils, etc. after you are done eating. Mango Carriage was yummy but after a while, the panna cotta layered within the mango snow shave ice got a bit heavy. Wish they would put mango sorbet or something else inside. Popcorn chicken was good, nice big chunks of meat. Nothing special about the beef noodle soup even though the menu marked it as a Must Try. Skip the ribeye steak lunch...kind of weird colored meat. Overall, I would return for the shave ice and popcorn chicken. Service is alright. The staff did not have a happy face on when we arrived but when he saw other customers later, he had a smile on. My go to spot for shaved ice! Perfect after a heavy or greasy meal when you crave something refreshing. Portions are large so it is great to share with four people. The shaved ice is unique from others. It has ribbons of ice cream rather than icy chunks which makes it creamy. The fruit toppings also makes it feel fresh and the layers of panna cotta pairs well with the light texture of the shaved ice. If you are craving something refreshing, I would recommend the Mango Carriage which has a slight tartness or the Wonderland which has watermelon and tastes like melona. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The space can get loud when it is busy, but I've also seen people study here which seems like a great spot for that. read more
I love a good refreshing dessert, and Ever After provided just that. Their shaved ice was incredibly fluffy and light, the perfect texture to complement the other toppings. We tried the Summer Farm with mixed fruit, topped with a blueberry syrup, and wow, that was such the perfect combination! We also ordered a side of their mochi topping, and that was phenomenal! The mochi came in a sweet syrup, making it melt-in-your-mouth soft and indulgent. I also need to take a moment to applaud them for offering monkfruit sugar alternative sweeteners in their drinks. I have not seen this before and don't know why more tea shops won't offer this. They also have some savory options on their menu that piqued my interest. This was a late dinner decision. We're in Irvine at 9PM and craving noodles. What is good and still open late on a Sunday night? Check Yelp of course! We found the Ever After Tearoom & Eatery which is open until 10PM, 7 days a week. Ordering at the kiosk was a little challenging. We could see what we wanted on the big video screen. OMG!!! ONE OF THE BEST SHAVED ICE IVE EVER HAD. We were a party of 3 and shared one of their mango carriage (~$16) and still had a bit leftover. The shaved ice had such a pleasant texture and so full of flavor!! It was layered with panna cotta all throughout. The fruits were all super sweet and fresh as well. You order through the kiosk and ask for a pager at the counter. Besides shaved ice, they also have other taiwanese dishes!! Which I would love to come back and try next time. One thing to note was that the tables were super sticky so we had to wipe it down with some hand sanitizer. Other than that, 10/10 shaved ice!! read more

The food is delicious! The Taiwanese soup broth is full of flavor with a nice kick of spice, my daughter's steak was tender and well seasoned. Their drinks are sweet but not over powering. I like the self order kiosk and there are lots of options for both food as well as drinks. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Plenty of seating both indoors and the patio area. I originally thought they are more of a dessert (shaved ice) only type of place, but they actually have a wide variety of savory foods/meals! ~the food~ - Mermaid Fried Rice ($17.95): Wow this was so good! Made with organic black & brown rice, the fried rice had great texture and was flavored generously! There was shrimp + calamari in the fried rice and they were both cooked pretty well! The dill was a little bit too much for me, but I think I'm also just not a huge fan of dill! - Summer Farm Snow ($13.95): Milk snow with blueberry jam + lots of fruits + creme brûlée. Huge portion! Definitely a dessert to share among 3-4ppl imo! I think this was ok! Nothing too special, I felt like the fruits weren't the most fresh, and the blueberry jam tasted just a bit artificial to me. Dinner: * The popcorn chicken was flavorful and a crowd pleaser. * the beef noodle soup: slightly spicy so not that good for young kids. Wish the broth was more flavorful- I wouldn't get this again. * salmon dish (comes with brown and black rice; kale and fruit salad) - wife loved this. Nice little spot. Clean and decor is cute! You order from the kiosk and sit down. Lots of drink items as well as food options. Not too loud and not too busy. I ordered the Phoenix Milk Tea with Boba. Mango carriage is amazing. Creamy, refreshing, and you just keep eating it. This is not like shaved ice. It's like a creamy delicious light ice cream. Price is worth the quality and how much you receive. Definitely for multiple people. I'd say 2 people if you're really having a lot. Parking isn't terrible. It's in a center but most times it's not empty so you'll have to look for a spot. I've gone when it's super packed in there and can't get seating but also when it's been pretty empty. Definitely don't recommend taking it to go. It's not as tasty as when you're sitting in store btw. Try it!! read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, and I finally went! I've been seeing videos of all kinds of their "snow cake" which is sort of basically bingsoo so I had to try it out. We got the strawberry matcha one. It's uniquely shaved ice with matcha flavor mostly, and it has condensed milk and strawberry puree poured over it. It's topped with a light mocha brûlée and tiramisu and surrounded by strawberry bits. Digging the spoon into it is so satisfying because of how soft it is! I'm used to bingsoo being more icy, so this was very interesting, but I loved it! There was also more mocha brûlée layered inside, which I appreciated. The condensed milk and strawberry puree helped make the dessert more sweet and creamy- I might've added a bit more condensed milk if I could to make it even sweeter. However, it didn't really need it, it was great as is. The portion is huge! Three of us shared it, but it could definitely be shared amongst more. They have plenty of seating inside, and there's additional tables outside in the plaza as well. We tried the Skinny Princess and the Mango Carriage, and both were amazing in their own way Skinny Princess: Light, refreshing, and still satisfyingly creamy. It's their "guilt-free" option with sugar free strawberry syrup but doesn't sacrifice flavor. The texture of the shaved ice is so smooth it melts on your tongue, and the toppings gave just the right crunch and contrast. Would 100% get again on a lighter dessert day. Mango Carriage: A mango lover's dream! Tropical, juicy, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The mango drizzle and fresh fruit made it feel super vibrant and summery. If you're looking for something fruity and indulgent, this is it. The staff were also super sweet and happy to walk us through the menu. This a cute local spot that gives you the best of both worlds serving dessert and entrees. I will definitely have to come back to try their other foods. I am so impressed on how dog friendly this place is. There is even dog bowl available inside for drinking. The dessert menu is massive, I would say it's good for 3 people. Pup's menu is made with great quality and mine loves it so much. There is self service kiosk in addition to order by counter. The lady's owner is really helpful with recommendation. The dining room has more than enough seating, but you probably have to push together two tables to seat 10 together.
Are the beef noodle soup's ingredients like beef, vegetables and noodles organic?
No, they are not. However, our dishes are light on oil, and the broth is simmered with fresh vegetables for over eight hours to bring out the most nutritious flavors.
Is this cafe cat friendly as well? I'd like to bring mine in a stroller. :)

They are dairy. However the oat milk snow contains very minimal dairy compare to other flavors.
Has anyone brought other pets here before? I usually only see people bring their dogs here
