I have been religiously coming to Sandy for about eight years, receiving both waxing and facial…read moreservices. Truth be told, I should add "therapist" services to this list as Sandy is a truly warm and caring person and will listen to me go on ad nauseam about literally anything and everything for which I need to vent. She will not rush a client out the door when they need to talk, even if she has another client waiting. I was actually in the salon receiving a waxing when "Sindy" (previous one-star Yelp reviewer) came for her appointment. Due to the need for privacy, and also because of COVID, Sandy only has one client in the salon at a time. She keeps the front door locked as she doesn't want other people like delivery men walking into the salon when she is servicing another. The Yelp reviewer "Sindy" who left Sandy a one-star review (please don't confuse her with Sandy) started texting about ten minutes before her appointment to let Sandy know she was there. Mind you, Sandy has on a rubber gloves and a face mask at this time and is very busy focusing on my lady parts, and not her phone (I had been running a few minutes behind, and Sandy was hurrying to finish my treatment). In the few minutes it took her to finish me up and head out to address this client while I dressed, "Sindy" had knocked several times on the door and sent no less than FIVE separate texts, the last at 3:17 (her appointment was at 3:15) stating that, if Sandy didn't respond, she was leaving. Sandy walked out to the front porch, and I could hear "Sindy" immediately begin to raise her voice at her, telling her how she needs to run her business differently, answer her texts, etc. Sandy calmly explained that she had a client getting dressed and she'd get her in as soon as the room was sanitized and re-set for her. This was not good enough for "Sindy". She continued to berate Sandy until Sandy finally told her that she thought they had better just cancel the appointment as they obviously were not going to "click" as aesthetician /client. Sandy kept her head and addressed the matter in a professional way. She could easily have snapped back at this person who obviously wasn't going to use her services anyway, but she didn't. As a small business owner myself, I can tell you that I also wouldn't want a client such as that in my office, and I think that she received the result she deserved from her behavior.

Yelp needs to give room for more stars because Megan deserves a 10 star review seriously! I have been wanting to get my eyebrows done for 5+ years but haven't found someone who I felt was good enough. I looked at people all the way from Roseville, Davis, Vacaville and San Francisco. I've known Megan for awhile now, and I've watched her work, not once has she done something that makes me think, never mind she's not the one. So I finally got the nerves to make an appointment with her, AND HOLY EYEBROW GODESS! Words do not do her justice! She's a sweetheart, explains every step of the process, makes sure she knows exactly what you want, keeps you comfortable through the whole process, and gives very thorough after care details as well as an aftercare goodie bag! There wasn't a single second that I felt pain, or uncomfortable etc. and seriously I love my brows so much I want to cry every time I look at them! I've gotten nothing but compliments from everyone who has seen them. So if you're thinking about getting yours done, or nervous, or looking for the right person, stop and look no more because Megan is your go to, I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

Long story short: I scheduled with Aileen for touch up on my eyebrows to make them DARKER MORE BO $195 (2 HOURS) I was coming from San Francisco which would be an 1hour 15min drive. In the middle of driving to get to the appointment she calls me and ask if I can reschedule my appointment suggest I go to the mall or dinner until 6pm because she had an family emergency and double booked, I told her no as I have children and my sitter is only able to stay until 5pm. I admit I got to my appointment 15 minutes late due to traffic and getting lost she had to give me directions by phone as my gps wasn't working properly. I go in she seated me (NEVER MENTIONED TIME) she numbed me/got set up with equipment (10 minutes )and proceeded to work on my eyebrows. (20 minutes)Her next appointment literally walks in while I'm getting my eyebrows done and she begins to start rushing and literally 5 minutes of them waiting she says "i'm finishing up now" to the lady waiting! I'm thinking whoa what it's only been 20 minutes she can't possibly be done the website says 2HOURS ! I get up and look at the work and I tell her it looks really light and she says to wait till it heals to see the outcome. I'm not a professional so I trust her judgment and thank her for her service TIP and leave ! So 7 days go by it has now healed and I send her pictures that my eyebrows are noticeably light and dark in a lot of spots making it look strange. She says wait 2 weeks until it fully heals (before I left the shop she said 7 days). I wait the two weeks and she ignores my texts messages!? Finally I text again with pictures and she responds saying her daughter has Covid and to wait another 2 weeks I'm sympathetic so I understand and I do so ! Again I text her two weeks later ! No reply so now I'm frustrated and tired of being put off ! So I text her with a little more frustration in my text tone...she responds to that with an attitude so now at this point I'm sick of her bull crap and tell her I want a refund because she rushed and because she worked on my eyebrows for only 20 minutes!!! I told her her website say 2HOURS so why did she only give me 20 minute work !! Her excuse was I was late ! I told her if that's the case I still should've been in your chair for 1 hour and 40 minutes it's ridiculous to take my money knowing you rushed and did a bs job ! The convo speaks alot about her character and I would not recommend.
