Most day of coordinators will talk to you a few times and really only take over handling vendors maybe 2 weeks out. Jessica consistently talked with me (she even would request meets rather than me asking for them--wonderfully unexpected) and helped me plan out different things regarding our wedding. Jessica also asked great questions to help me realize things I had not thought about! She also did exactly what I wanted... not to have to think about anything on my wedding day AND not have to worry about asking family or friends to do something in fear that they wouldn't do it. She did everything right. I even was going to pay our florist to move some flowers ($50) and Jessica said she would do it. So not only did she move flowers, wine barrels, etc. for us day of to help keep our costs lower by not paying other vendors or not renting more items but she also kept me sane day of and helped with the planning. Jessica + Circle Oak Ranch... we had our wedding at Circle Oak Ranch and hired Jessica as our day of coordinator. Jessica knows Circle Oak Ranch inside and out! It made it WONDERFUL. I'm sure she has great experience overall to allow her to be a great coordinator anywhere but wow if you are having a wedding at Circle Oak, she should be your go-to person!

As New Yorkers, for several months after our engagement we flirted with the idea of a destination wedding, but were overwhelmed by the choices and the prospect of managing a list of vendors from across the country. After one conversation with Amanda, our trepidation disappeared and was replaced with pure enthusiasm for what we could do together. With zero hesitation, we signed up for a "Full Service Wedding Planning" package and never looked back! Pretty quickly into the process, Amanda assessed our vision, and introduced us to a tremendous group of vendors, helped us lock in our venue (Darlington House in La Jolla), and provided a roadmap to help us understand what the road ahead would look like. Each month, for over a year, we had monthly calls with Amanda that were collaborative, productive, oftentimes therapeutic, and in an era of Pinterest-inspired fads and whims, kept us focused on our original vision. One of the most amazing qualities about Amanda is that she communicates extremely well with different personalities, has an instinctive awareness of her client's needs, and provides room for the process to be as collaborative or as done-for-you as you may want. Amanda went above and beyond in every regard for our wedding, and her commitment to us having *our* perfect wedding was unyielding. Over the course of planning our wedding, we made a couple trips out to California, not because we needed to, but in part because we were so excited to spend time with Amanda and the amazing vendors she introduced us to. A few months into our wedding planning process, we were so enamored with and impressed by Amanda, we even asked her to officiate our wedding. This was a testament not just to our extreme trust and faith in her, but how safe she made us feel throughout the process, how well she got to know us, and how obvious it was she was just as invested in our big day as we were. Turns out, it was a great decision; she was a phenomenal officiant -- truly magical and so incredibly thoughtful. (Not a surprise!) Throughout the wedding journey, we met and hired many super talented vendors, and could not have been more pleased with the results, but the singular credit for everything being as magnificent as it was goes to Amanda, her ability to communicate with our team of vendors, unite everyone behind a clear vision, and ensure it was executed precisely, with love and joy from all those who were involved. Amanda's nickname, Sassy Little Bee, is totally appropriate - she's super sweet, quirky and a kid at heart, but meantime she can be tough with vendors and won't let them get away with excuses. She was well worth it (and candidly wasn't too expensive to hire either). Heather managed everything--from coordinating numerous vendors and rentals to handling multiple food options, designing thoughtful centerpieces (without breaking the bank), and bringing in an outstanding DJ who kept guests of all ages fully engaged (which is crucial). One of the things we appreciated most was Heather's transparency and smart budgeting advice. She helped us identify where it made sense to handle certain items ourselves ahead of time--saving us from unnecessary vendor markups--and advised on where to invest for the best impact.
