There were a few small things that went wrong (as always happens on a wedding day), and I didn't even know about them until later because Lux Moments handled everything behind the scenes like a pro. From the very beginning (a year before wedding date) until the last guest left from the wedding/reception that night, Mariam was there to make sure everything was perfect. She made appointments at different venues and handled all the "negotiating" once we picked out our favorite. Next were all the arrangements for a caterer, cake, tables, chairs, china, florist, decorations, invitations, photographer, music, etc etc etc. She even coordinated the bridesmaids and groomsmen with their attire. Mariam made all the appointments based on OUR schedule and was with us every step of the way. We even paid for her expenses to go to New York with us to pick out my daughters wedding dress. (Wouldn't you know, she planned out the whole weekend including meals at some of the most quaint and delicious restaurants I've ever experienced.) Her knowledge and expertise in every aspect of a wedding was quite evident from the start. As time got closer, she took care of checking and double checking that we were completely satisfied with all the choices we made. She made all the "follow-up" calls with vendors to make sure everything was on track. On my daughters wedding day, she coordinated everything and everyone. People always told us to "be prepared" for something to go wrong, but that was not the case. Everything was perfect! I was expecting this entire process to be the most stressful time of my life...but Mariam turned it into the most exciting and fun experience for my daughter and I. I received so many compliments from friends and family on how everything turned out and how professional the "wedding planner" was. When I explained what she did for us, they were astonished.
