I went to Eva's a few weeks ago but only just got a moment to write this up. The sandwiches here are the best I've had in the area and big enough to make three meals for us and probably two meals just about anyone. We had the Loaded Cheesesteak Deluxe and the Chicken Milanese, both stuffed and well balanced. I was also tempted into getting the "1 empanada plus chips" combo after seeing them while waiting for my sandwich. I ordered in store instead of calling ahead because I was in the middle of a shopping trip. The man behind the counter gave me a realistic time assessment, which was quite reasonable for the quality of sandwiches he put together. I had time to look around the shop which has a great butcher section as well as a small but nicely selected set of specialty foods. It's a small shop but well organized, bright and friendly. It's also tucked in near a popular bakery, so if you have a few minutes to wait you can just hop next door and get dessert. read more

Great selection of Grass Fed Grass Finished beef, all your regular top notch butcher items as well, owner is always there. This is Argentinian beef, yes it would be nice to have more options from USA but this is some good stuff. Make the best choice out of your available options I always say! I went to Eva's Farm in North Andover and ordered a turkey dinner for two people. It came with a turkey breast cut in pieces and two sides I got mashed sweet potatoes and stuffing. I had to pay extra for gravy, and extra sides. All of the portions were extremely small except for the one huge pan of stuffing which had bread, onions and celery in it. I found it all bland and tasteless. The only thing I liked was the side salad for $14.95, but it came right out of the refrigerator and still had label on it that said $4.95 ?? In the past, I have had their meats, and they always seem tough. All in all I would not recommend this place, I was very disapponted. NOT worth $88.00 read more

I stopped by here after work one day looking for a three bone plate short rib. Really tough to find them around here. And while they didn't have it, the butcher directed me to a supplier that might carry them rather than get it himself and upcharge. Very kind. Not only that, but I walked away with two gorgeous, 45-day dry aged prime rib eyes that ended up being the most delicious steaks I've ever cooked, and all at REALLY good prices. Was like $42 for two thick bone-in Ribeyes. Stop N shop will charge you more for Angus choice. This place rocks. read more

We drive by and seen the signs for prime cuts. I went in and spent $175 in beef. 1/2 the order was prime filet mignon. I took the meat home and started a dry brine. I do this for 24 hours. I noticed the Medallions still had some silver skin, I removed it. I then vacuum bagged them and cooked them at 135f for two hours in a sous vide. When done I reversed seared them with tallow and a flame thrower. I also bought ribeye. During dinner my guests, (who I cook for often) said the Filet mignon was tough. Tough?! This isn't my first rodeo and have many accolades in my ability to produce quality steak dinners. I tasted the so called Fillet mignon, it was more of what I would expect from a Sirloin medallion. I could be wrong, but I have no intentions of returning. The ribeye was nothing special. Trust is lost in buckets, gained in droplets. read more

Went in to pick up a tenderloin for Christmas dinner. Pointed to the nice pink tenderloin in the display case. When I got home the entire piece of meat was spoiled. To the point that no one could stand in the kitchen, that bad. I believe any positive review on this place is from reputation defender or people they know. Could I have brought it back ? What for .... It was over $100 dollar piece of meat and the manager himself put it in the bag, rolling the dice.... This used to be three towns over... had to move, guess why? 12 people at dinner will never shop here, neither will their 8 family members. read more

If you're thinking about ordering your holiday meat here, think again. I ordered for Christmas last year and was told their prime rib came with horseradish and au jus. I was told to order 3 bones to feed 5 people. I ordered well ahead of time and was one of the first ones on their list. Picked up Christmas Eve...they couldn't find my order. Waited and waited. They were obviously scurring around trying to find something to give me. By this time I was in such a rush, I forgot to check the package before I left. When I pulled it out to cook, there were only 2 ribs and no horseradish, no au just. And I had to feed 5 people on that! Too late to go back...it was Christmas Eve and they were closed. I didn't want to go back into the store and make a scene, so sent an email afterwards describing what happened. No response...ever!! This year I will be going to their competitor in town. So much for trying to support small business. They could've at least responded to my email! read more

I stopped in here to pick up a couple of steaks for dinner mainly because it was on my route home from work. The place is smaller than I expected but loaded with meats of all different kinds. The boneless ribeyes I picked up were among the best I've ever had. So, so tender. I didn't spend much time looking around the store, but I will be back for sure. From what I saw, prices looked competitive, especially given the quality. This might be our new butcher shop. read more

Very fresh, lots of options and no "woody breast" disease for their chicken. Seriously, look it up. Has your chicken ever tasted rubbery? That's woody breast disease. It doesn't hurt humans but it makes chicken taste horrific. These guys have fresh, delicious options and they are very nice and attentive. read more

Stopped by on the way home from work and got three pieces of filet mignon, asparagus, bacon, parsley and mushrooms. The steak included a free sample size sauce. Brought these home and cooked up a storm - the meat had the best flavor and texture that I have had in the past few years, and the veggies formed a nice sauce for it. I made my first purchase from Eva's Farm yesterday and oh my goodness, best quarantine decision I've made. I got 2 rib eye steaks and 4 bacon cheddar burgers. I haven't made the steak yet, but cooked one of the burgers in a cast iron skillet last night and WOW! The burger was filled with cheddar and bacon and the beef was so juicy and flavorful. For this quality of beef, the prices are insanely reasonable. Ordering over the phone was super easy, my order was ready when I arrived, and the employee that I spoke with (I can't remember her name, maybe Avery?) was so sweet. So glad I gave this place a shot! I used to go to the Middleton location all the time, and was very sad to see that they closed. Accidentally drove by the new North Andover location and could not have been happier to see that they moved. Got a man amazing crown roast for Easter. Since then we have had a 9 lb beef tenderloin, marinated chicken, bacon, and filets. I will not buy meat anyplace else from this point on. The staff couldn't be nicer read more

I know that Eva's may have quality meat however do not order their take out. When I asked if the meat was gluten-free the worker answered yes without hesitation, as I waited I had a feeling that it was not gluten-free so I asked another worker and was treated rather rudely that I didn't let them know ahead of time when I I asked the person I ordered from. What I ordered was a garden green salad with steak which was cooked on the same grill as other things including gluten containing items. They offered me to not take the salad but then I would have nothing to eat so I just asked them not to put the steak on that salad. I then had to ask them for my money back for the steak which was a three dollar additional charge. The worst part is the Salad I received cost seven dollars without meat which all it was was a premade salad with the price of $4.49 right on it. So if you're getting a salad there don't order it you can just grab it from the refrigerator and save $2.50. I expected a lot more as this is advertised as high-quality products. When someone asks you if something is gluten-free if you don't know it's OK but don't answer yes if you don't know it can be very dangerous to those with celiac,And it's even more ironic that the second person I spoke to told me that he had celiac clearly they don't have a full understanding of what this is all about. Will not be going back again, I felt I was treated rudely and the rest of the food wasn't even that great. read more
