Surely Mauds is part of our staple diet from as soon as we can hold a spoon. I love the usual Pooh Bear and The Nutella Bear. Cold, smooth but with bits - gorgeous! I love the big bits of yellow man that run through the ice cream. So good but so bad for me! Oh well! You can get loads of different flavours ranging from a baby poke for a few pence to a big tub that would do you a few weeks. This particular outlet sells sweets and crisps as well but the real reason anyone would go in would be to get an ice cream. My only issue with this one in Bangor is that it is the perfect accompaniment to the seaside but it is quite a wee dander from the marina - it would be better along the sea front!
