I find treating the customer this way is contemptuous Today I returned a Masai cotton top which I bought a year ago, yes I know you are thinking well you have had it a year, yes and I would say the same if I had worn it every week and got my wear out of it, when in fact I had worn it only 5 times. I pointed this out to the store supervisor but she wasn't interested in that. She just kept saying well you have had it a year. Needless to say I did not get a refund but then knowing how they deal with returns I was not expecting one. Whilst I am on the subject I find the staff on the concession counters abysmal, they might a well have a do not disturb sign around their neck.

This is a very large store, spread out over a number of floors you can get anything you need…read morefashion or home wise. A lot of the brands they sell can be pricey, although they seem to have sales every few weeks so you can always save some money. I was lucky enough to be able to go a preview night before it opened in 2011. They also have an outlet store in the Kennet Centre where they previously were.

The store is still dominated by traditional women's clothing, aimed at the more discerning customer, and although the Per Unu range has inspired some of the younger market to participate the feel is still traditional. The supermarket at the rear of the shop is classy, elegent and obviously expensive! The only time I buy food here is when I have an M&S voucher to offset the cost of the produce! (although I must admit the food is very very good from Marks and Spencer!!) Upstairs they have a very generous lingerie department (although the introduction of the additional charge for the more well developed lady has been a cause for concern!). Mens and children's ranges are also available, although both sections seem rather underdeveloped.

The iPod/Phone charger that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter was a real find and just a quid! Amazing. The 99p Shop is the same only even cheaper!! Look after the pennies as they say.

Prices are very reasonable, although the quality of the clothes often reflects this with black items fadding after a couple of washes and buttons becoming loose rather promptlyhowever if your into fashion and change your outfit as often as you have hot showers then this is ideal - why spend a fortune when you can entertain all the fashion ideals for a fraction of the price. Stock ranges are wide and varied, although the shoe section is often difficult to ascertain due to it's constant disarray of design, but thankfully the majority of the store doesn't follow this routine!

This compact shopping centre contains quite an eclectic mixture of shops, both chains and independent retailers. They proved about an hour of browsing but to be honest, I'm unlikely to return to many of them anytime soon. There's a Vue cinema, which is apparently quite new in town. I look forward to some trips there in the future. The centre was clean and there was public seating available for me to settle into for my wait.
