Park here at your own risk!!…read more I parked here in self park and ate at Javier's. When I came out my car was blocked in as somebody parked behind me. When I tried to talk to valet, and later the front desk for parking, they had no solution. Their best answer was to wait an hour and a half for a tow truck. When I explained my wife was pregnant and we really needed a better solution (e.g. a gurney that many downtown parking lots use for this situation) they told me they didn't have that option. I tried to talk to the manager who hid from my calls for 30 minutes and when I finally did get in touch he said it was my fault since "I parked too far forward to allow somebody to park behind me." At that point it seemed insulting and almost comedic. I am posting the chat where the manager blamed me for parking too far forward as proof.

Paid through the number on the ticket you can text to pay after entering my card information and submitting payment. Paid the $40 instead of the 70 and thought wow what a great deal I checked my bank account and the $70 did go through I then contacted the office told him about what happened manager told me to wait until the payment of the $70 went through and said if it does will give you your $40 back. Sent him a screenshot of the transaction when it finally processed said he will get back to me and never did. Update: was resolved.

Parking was $19.00 for the first three hours with validation. The art museum is truly a gem of Los Angeles. It can be challenging to reserve tickets because open time slots fill up quickly, especially during the summer months when many people are on vacation. The artwork on display is mesmerizing, beautiful, and thought-provoking. Personally, I appreciated every single piece of art I observed, as so much work, love, and dedication went into each item on display that one can only wonder what the artists were thinking or feeling as they created their masterpieces. The entire museum is well-maintained, spotless, and fun. Security is extremely important, as evidenced by the many staff members closely monitoring the large crowds around each section of the museum. Staff members are also there to answer any questions. I wish to rerun here very soon with family and friends, as our visit was educational, inspiring, and fun.

Even though the museum is free, I suggest getting tickets on line to reserve a timed-entry in advance, It does get crowded. I had stopped by on Thursday evening, but by the time I got there, most of the ice cream was already sold out. I figured there would be a much better selection if I went early in the morning, so even though it was the weekend, I headed there almost as soon as I woke up. As I expected, there were plenty of ice cream flavors available early in the morning, which made me really happy. I ended up buying three flavors: Van Leeuwen Dubai Style Chocolate Cone, Van Leeuwen Sicilian Pistachio, and McConnell's × See's Candies Vanilla California Brittle. I tried all three, and every single one was absolutely delicious. I also picked up some organic mustard and white balsamic vinegar. When I checked out, a young male employee helped me. I asked him if the 50% discount on the ice cream was for Amazon Prime members, and he confirmed that it was. Then I asked him how to show that I was an Amazon Prime member, and he kindly explained the process. He even put all of my groceries into the shopping bag I had brought with me. He was very friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. When I was picking out the ice cream, an employee who was stocking items nearby kindly held the freezer door open for me. I really appreciated that as well. He suddenly held the door, so I looked up in surprise. He said he was just trying to help, so I thanked him I also love that Whole Foods Market is within walking distance of my home. It's so convenient, and they always have a great selection of high-quality products. Just a heads-up: The 50% off ice cream promotion for Amazon Prime members runs through July 7th. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can still get 44% off instead.

The negative is the other people that visit with their dogs. I know Whole Foods can't control it, but not sure why people come with their pets, its kind of crazy. However this review is really for their coffee shop. I saw it recently start on the inside and it had a really interesting menu and flavor combos so I wanted to try it. The service was fast and attentive and the person was really enthusiastic. We got the matcha latte and I think it was like a brown sugar one latte and both were decent, but nothing special. The prices were really good though. But would I get this again, probably not unless I really want some espresso. Great concept, but would like more interesting flavors and better coffee!

As somewhat expected in a highly populated area in a big city, be vigilant and watch out for yourself, because despite cameras everywhere and the occasional security personnel, you tend to see some shady characters lurking around. Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the East of the original Farmer's Market. The Grove has a huge but very busy parking structure, so while you may have to journey to the upper levels, you will eventually find parking. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $30 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Their validation rules are fairly complex and not straightforward, so be sure to read all the fine print. They also have Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice modern open air set up with a Nordstrom, Zara and H&M and a bunch of smaller stores, an AMC movie theater, a Barnes and Noble, a Cheesecake Factory, and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to fit most tastes and budgets. One catch being that the Grove parking lot cannot be validated by the Farmers Market stores and vice versa. Once you are on premises you can use the trolly to move from one end of the venue to the other. Also keep in mind that the Original Farmers Market is literally next door and attached to the Grove, which dramatically increases your food options.

There's lots of floors and we had to go to the 4th floor. Make sure to bring your ticket to validate parking at one of the stores, we spent our time at Barnes and noble to pick out some things and we validated there. The place was packed on a Sunday, since it's an outdoor area, it was really hot and staying in the stores helped cool us off, especially if they had AC on full blast. Going back to the parking lot was a challenge, since there isn't a parking attendant around, there isn't service you can get help right away. Parking price is expensive if you stay more than 2 hours, I suggest coming for the 2 hours and validate it at a store or if you end up staying longer and reaching full price (max daily), might as well spend the feast of the day there since they already have everything you need for lunch and dinner. FYI, driving out of the 4th floor took some time so if you're in a rush, so is everyone else and some cars go so fast you might not see them in time around sharp turns and yield signs!

The big food festival that happens every week is what initially brought me to the Row and there is so much to discover there. I also often come here to charge my Tesla ~ charging on Level 5. The Row opened almost 10 years ago on the edge of Arts District and is spread across 30 acres. As mentioned with the charging, they do have a parking garage which is really nice when coming here. And it's a nice garage, well kept and clean, free for 2 hours with validation. You never need to worry about parking when you come here! Like much of Arts District, it's kind of industrial chic vibes. It's an open-air spot with just lovely landscaping and seating all around. There are some excellent food options like Pikunico and Hayato, as well as Go Get Em Tiger for coffee needs. Very cool stores including concept spots and trendy clothing shops. And i'm def getting my next tattoo at Nonfromseoul. Aside from the brick & mortar shops and restaurants and weekly Sunday Smorgasburg, I've been to some other smaller cultural fests & pop ups here. It's always trendy and cute at ROW DTLA!

That being said, ROW DTLA is a dreamscape when it comes to filming content and just catching city vibes in a safe space. Located near the Arts District this space of buildings used to be utilized for the textile industry. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward. Good for a short stay or half a day, if you're looking for things to do in LA proper, ROW DTLA is worth your drive.
