Depending on the amount of people up there, it can be calm and surreal enough to make for a good picnic to watch the sky and enjoy the sights. My friend and I didn't walk too far down the dirt path as we parked near the Elysian Park sign. We only walked straight to the large concrete displays with grafitti on them. We both enjoyed our experience here so much and took note of the type of shoes we need to wear next time! Would definitely want to explore back here again!

Elysian Park is one of my favorite hikes/runs right outside of downtown LA, right by Dodger…read moreStadium. Pro tip: Do the hike counterclockwise. When Dodger Stadium is behind you and you face the mountain, start counterclockwise--trust me, you'll thank me. On the way back, you'll enjoy a gorgeous downtown view. At the top, there's a painted seating area where you can rest and soak it all in. A couple of things that could be better: It's a dirt/sand path, so wear shoes you don't mind getting dusty--unless you want to spend each day cleaning them. It's usually around 6,000 steps for me--though that varies--and roughly 400 calories burned (but don't quote me on that!). Overall, it's about a 45-minute hike/jog with ups and downs--just enough to get your heart going, and then you can treat yourself to a city-state after. Pretty good overall--highly recommend it!

It was a short walk to the gates where we brought in our own waters and snacks. Once in the central plaza we could take photos with statues, bobbleheads, etc and walk around the stadium Made our way to the upper decks to get a better view of the field, and enjoyed checking out everything. It's a completely cashless place (as most stadiums are these days) so prepare to pull out your card for everything. Is it expensive? Yes. Was it more than I thought? For some items, yes ($12 soda, $11 Dodger dog) but for others no ($22 beer, $6 ice cream) The atmosphere is great and the fans love their team. Unfortunately for them the Padres won

We visited from out of state while on our honeymoon, I reached out to see if I could add anything else to my tickets, the response was much more than expected. We received first game certificates as well as a bag of goodies! This actually made the experience so much better for us. As for the park itself, we went on a give away night, people were body to body, no one was able to move, and it was quite a dangerous situation I'm not sure if this is normal, but if there was an emergency everyone was stuck. Crowds died down after the first pitch, the fans were amazing, the whole atmosphere was a fun experience. They did run out of quite a bit of food prior to the game starting the day we went. Over all we had a good experience, my recommendation is doing research on how to enter and how to get to your seats before going.

I had stopped by on Thursday evening, but by the time I got there, most of the ice cream was already sold out. I figured there would be a much better selection if I went early in the morning, so even though it was the weekend, I headed there almost as soon as I woke up. As I expected, there were plenty of ice cream flavors available early in the morning, which made me really happy. I ended up buying three flavors: Van Leeuwen Dubai Style Chocolate Cone, Van Leeuwen Sicilian Pistachio, and McConnell's × See's Candies Vanilla California Brittle. I tried all three, and every single one was absolutely delicious. I also picked up some organic mustard and white balsamic vinegar. When I checked out, a young male employee helped me. I asked him if the 50% discount on the ice cream was for Amazon Prime members, and he confirmed that it was. Then I asked him how to show that I was an Amazon Prime member, and he kindly explained the process. He even put all of my groceries into the shopping bag I had brought with me. He was very friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. When I was picking out the ice cream, an employee who was stocking items nearby kindly held the freezer door open for me. I really appreciated that as well. He suddenly held the door, so I looked up in surprise. He said he was just trying to help, so I thanked him I also love that Whole Foods Market is within walking distance of my home. It's so convenient, and they always have a great selection of high-quality products. Just a heads-up: The 50% off ice cream promotion for Amazon Prime members runs through July 7th. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can still get 44% off instead.

I believe there is a $5 minimum purchase but it is not really enforced. I've also gotten a berry chantilly matcha with oat milk at the coffee bar here, and it was delicious and only $5.25!! What a steal for matcha in this economy. Recently, I I came here just for the matcha again but the coffee bar was closed sadly :/ leading me to dock off one star. If you're coming in just for the amazing and affordable drinks, would recommend calling the store to confirm if their coffee bar is open!

Parking was $19.00 for the first three hours with validation. The art museum is truly a gem of Los Angeles. It can be challenging to reserve tickets because open time slots fill up quickly, especially during the summer months when many people are on vacation. The artwork on display is mesmerizing, beautiful, and thought-provoking. Personally, I appreciated every single piece of art I observed, as so much work, love, and dedication went into each item on display that one can only wonder what the artists were thinking or feeling as they created their masterpieces. The entire museum is well-maintained, spotless, and fun. Security is extremely important, as evidenced by the many staff members closely monitoring the large crowds around each section of the museum. Staff members are also there to answer any questions. I wish to rerun here very soon with family and friends, as our visit was educational, inspiring, and fun.
