Extremely Poor Customer Service - Honda Service Department I…read morepurchased a brand-new Honda CRF250F and after only one month of ownership, the battery was already bad. When I brought it to the service department, I was told that Honda does not warranty their batteries and that replacing it would cost $170. The service representative then accused me of leaving the ignition on, claiming that is why they don't warranty batteries. That was absolutely not the case. I found it very unprofessional and insulting to be accused of negligence after spending nearly $6,000 on a brand-new motorcycle. Refusing to stand behind a defective battery and blaming the customer instead is unacceptable. This was extremely poor customer service, and I will not be returning. I do not recommend this service department.

The Bad - Indian Scout Sixty Consignment Sale: However, selling my 2024 Indian Scout Sixty through them has been an absolute nightmare. Here's the timeline of just trying to get my check: PAYMENT TIMELINE (49+ days and counting): October 3: Victoria confirms check (approximately $2,500) will be sent once title received October 27: I follow up after 24 days of silence October 30: Told check will be prepared "tomorrow" and mailed October 30: Provided my mailing address November 14: Still no check received - requested tracking number (15 days after supposed mailing) November 14: Forwarded to Victoria for Monday follow-up November 18: STILL no check, no tracking, no response from Victoria Major Issues: No tracking number provided despite multiple requests 18+ days since check was allegedly mailed - still haven't received it Poor communication - Victoria never followed up as promised Time-sensitive - I'm leaving the country next week with no resolution Communication delays on other issues: While I understand the odometer discrepancy was ultimately a DMV issue (which can be ignored), it took weeks of back-and-forth just to get clarity on something I flagged back in August - another example of the ongoing pattern of poor communication Bottom Line: Great at selling bikes, terrible at follow-through on consignment sales. If you're buying, you'll probably have a good experience. If you're selling through them, be prepared to chase them for weeks to get your money. Nearly 2 months later, I still don't have my payment and am being sent in circles. Would I recommend? Buy from them - yes. Sell through them - absolutely not.

After hearing absolutely nothing--no call, no text, no email--I followed up today, 2/25/2026, only to be told the backorder has now been pushed to 3/16/2026. A delay is one thing. A month‑long extension with zero communication is another. For something as simple as two bolts, this has been far more frustrating than it should be. I never thought a pair of bolts would make me regret buying a Harley, but here we are. Starting to think I should've gone with Indian.

Part of the deal was, Folsom Harley said they would get them fixed. I am aware a used bike may have problems. During the agreed-on repairs, I did not get a single call about my bike being ready or parts coming in (they called me multiple times about someone else's bike just not mine), and I have had to chase them the entire time. The repairs to the bike were agreed upon at purchase and every time I have gone in, they have mentioned charging me except the last time I picked it up or they have flat out not known what is going on. I will say the repairs were completed finally, but their communication is horrible, and if I had not been pestering, the bike would most likely still not be repaired but that is purely speculation on my part. New damage and Service Issues: Bike has been in shop twice since Jan dealing with the promised repairs. First time bike came out with new damage and a soaked primary as they did not wipe it down after the service (Drove it home dripping oil in front of the rear tire, maybe I'm paranoid but not good). Both times bike has come out with new damage, I will list it below. Scratch on tour pack Scratch on Fairing Gouged screen protector. Overall Expierence: My overall take is this, if you want to feel like you're constantly bothering someone, if you want to feel like you don't matter, Buy a Harley from Folsom Harley. My experience with Harley has ultimately made me exhausted of them. I do not even care to ride the Harley I purchased, nor will I ever be back unless it's to exercise my warranty until it's out.
