FINALLY decided to try this place, and I can't wait to tell you all about it. My husband and I got the #7-Cluckin' Hot Chicken Sandwich, mild. It. Is. AMAZING. You will not regret it. The flavor is there, the slaw is perfect, the heat is just right. However... some negatives...it pains me to give them 4 stars instead of 5, seriously it does. The flavor is so good, but... We got one side of "Large" truffle fries to split and let me tell you, it's not really a large. So get two. BUT, for 2 chicken sandwiches, 1 side of fries, and 1 order of pretzels and cheese (3 pretzel sticks).... my bill was $30! No drinks, and next time I won't get sides because they aren't worth the prices. Also, I learned the hard way to call in my order. They are SO busy at lunch that it takes a while to get your food if you don't call ahead. So if you're in a hurry this is NOT the place to go. All in all, I love the food here! Finally stopped by this place on the way to Ohio, really wanted to try the chicken sammie after seeing an ad on Instagram... good ad campaign Aaand, wasnt impressed really. It wasn't bad, just after seeing the way it was hyped up i was underwhelmed with the actual sandwich. The sweet coleslaw and spicy sauce didn't go together at all for me. I got the cluckin hot version, and i felt like it just had too much seasoning, not that the spices on it were necessarily hot. Fries are better, a little greasy but they were pretty good. I gotta dock a star for the price though, everything here is ridiculously expensive. Just the chicken sandwich itself was ten bucks. Bill for 3 people was over 50 bucks, and i mean it's in a gas station, it's not fine dining. I felt totally ripped off honestly. Wouldn't return. I kept seeing posts about the restaurant on Instagram! So I decided to Take the trip to try it out. I do not regret leaVing the house for it or the 30 minute drive. The chicken waS delicious, juicy. I don't even like coleslaw and it was great! And the icing on the cake was: usually when restaurants push the chicken out the front of the bread your left with no chicken in the back of the bun! We were not sure what to think when we pulled into a gas station, but we had made the trip from Ann Arbor to try MI's best Nashville Hot Chicken. This is during the quarantine, so we were looking to kill time. We wore our masks into the store, ordered from a nice teen behind Plexiglas wearing a mask and paid by card. We waiting less than 10 minutes to pick up our food, you can call ahead and order pick up as well. We ordered the following: Cluckin Hot Chicken Sandwich- Medium Heat Eureka Hot tenders - Hot Shawarma Waffle fries Pita chips with garlic dip I cannot say one bad word about the food. Chicken breast was plump juicy and tasty (medium is a very low spice), tenders were nice sized (hot is much hotter than medium), hubs loved the shawarma, waffle fries were good, and the pita chips and garlic was absolutely amazing! I echo everybody's sentiment when I say "don't let the fact this is inside a gas station deter you" The food was amazing. The kids meals are generous and the shawarma is the best I've ever had. Make sure you order the truffle fries, you won't be sorry! The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you plan on eating here be warned there are only about a dozen seats, but most people get carry-out so it wasn't an issue for us. read more

When I went there I thought they were going to have vegan options as advertised. But i see there that may switch up there menu to eureka ... blank... because there were no definitely no gyro options at the time i went . They did have the variety of waffle cones with chicken. After hearing so much buzz about this spot that even the news reached my town, I finally gave it a try, and it lived up to the hype! i've been to eureka eatery twice and i will give them one thing- their marketing is incredibly good. i've had friends from college say it's on their bucket list. as for the experience itself, service is slow and chicken is too salty (both times i have visited). however, for a local business, i'm glad to see they're doing well read more

A little disappointed with my 'sandos' the past two times i have came, both the hot honey & regular Nashville were loaded with coleslaw to the point of it dripping & being all in the bottom of the container making the bottom bun soggy. I also didn't like that they have the hot honey sauce but couldn't make the sando for me. When i asked i was told it was a monthly special but it was on the menu for 3 months so i figured it was a permanent item. Should bring the Hot Honey sando back, it was my favorite the other times I've gotten it. read more

Only down side is when you get the hot version, the dry flavoring is dusted after the chicken is cooked, so it can be slightly gritty feeling when you bite into it. I absolutely love this place, I just wish it wasn't so far! At the recommendation of many friends, we stopped to pick up from here one day on our way home from Ohio. I have been addicted ever since! I've never had a better Nashville hot sandwich. Their truffle fries are perfect. I've tried a few items off of their specials menu which included a chicken quesadilla, chicken tacos and a cheesy Gordita crunch. All were amazing. Totally did not live up to all the rave reviews. So I don't mind that it's in a gas station, but nobody said that it does not have seating. Ok, there are 2 tables, if you want to sit on stools. Hard ones. Then you will have to put up with people constantly walking past you or standing waiting for their food. It's fine for carry out and I wish someone had said as much. As for the food, it was pretty good but no awards here. Loved the waffle fries and the schwarma was fine. We found the menu difficult to make out. It certainly was not a typical menu, but then, it's more of a take-out place so I suppose they are limited because of that. Great food! We stopped by on our drive home, around 6pm on a Friday. We waited for about 40 minutes for our food. It was worth the wait. Don't be put off by the gas station exterior, the food has the heart of a great restaurant. My friend ordered the BYO Mediterranean entree, it was on point. We knew the restaurant was inside of a gas station but so our expectations on the dining experience wasn't very high, even still we were disappointed. There were only two community style tables and both of them were very dirty and sticky. The sandwiches were high quality but their spice scale leans very HOT, think Thai food, but hotter. Had it not been for the fact that one of my all-time favorite restaurants (Mr. Kebab in Royal Oak) was located in a gas station, we would have missed out on this little gem. Holy cluck! The Chicken Sammy is going to blow your mind. Delicious, high quality breaded chicken seasoned and crisped to perfection. No hidden gristle bits to ruin your perfect bite. Love the coleslaw, pickles and sauce. The menu features breaded chicken (different heats as sandwiches, tenders or nuggets), Greek favorites (gyros, shawarma, falafel, baklava), and donuts that would make Homer Simpson leave his post at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Plus, who doesn't love a selection of alcohol that makes this Sunoco Station feel like the Library of Congress of booze. We stopped here twice in four days - once on our way to Canada and once on our way back. The Greek was delicious too - though I must admit that I will get the chicken again when we make our way back here later this summer. Make a point to stop here - you won't be disappointed. read more

I will visit this place again and again. I recommend this to anyone that has taste buds for fried chicken. From the Hot Nashville Sandwich , Hot Sammie, to the chicken tenders, hands down beat many other ones I've had before. The beer cheese to dip your tenders compliment the chicken. They have many other things on the menu, like rice bowls, shawarma, to hummus with amazing pita chips to dip with. I couldn't find any reason to give them anything but 5 stars. Staff was awesome too. My daughter's boyfriend drives an hour for the chicken sandwiches here. My wife and I happened to be in the area so decided to stop in. AMAZING chicken sandwiches! Whoever called this "typical fast food" better check their tastebuds because they're very likely dead. Moist and delicious with whatever sauce comes on the sandwich.
