I recently came in for a pedicure at Euphoria Nails Lounge, and overall it was a really relaxing experience. The service was good from start to finish--the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Nothing felt rushed, which I appreciated because sometimes nail salons can feel like an assembly line. Here, it actually felt like time was taken to make the experience enjoyable. The complimentary drinks were also a nice touch and definitely added to the whole self-care vibe. There's something about sipping a drink while getting a pedicure that makes you feel like you have your life together for at least an hour. The salon itself was clean, polished, and had a calm atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. My only small downside was the pricing. The quality and experience were good, but the prices felt a little on the steep side compared to similar services around town. Not necessarily a dealbreaker--just more of a "this is definitely a treat-yourself day" kind of place. Overall, a solid experience with good customer service, relaxing vibes, and quality work. They use the same files, brushes, cutters, trimmers and machines on multiple clients. So gross. OG review: The two stars are for my daughter-- she truly enjoyed the experience and raved about Lina. Unfortunately, I am not sure I can justify the price I paid for my full set. I paid almost $100 for almond nails that I had to fix when I got home bc the edges were rough and acrylic/glue was pushing on my skin. I have been here a few times, the salon itself looks very classy which I liked. I actually had to file my own nails for the tips I got with the manicure because the specialist was unable to get the sides rounded for the coffin tip. I received lash extensions. The quality of lashes used was not mink, faux mink, or silk, they were very bristly. I paid for all the services despite having done some of the work myself and left very generous tips for each specialist. I have had my lashes done many times with no issues, and this time the process resulted in a chemical burn to the whites of my eyes. The technician spilled glue on my neck, my brand new shirt, both of my hands, and all over the back side of my hair. Chemical burns occur with the use of too much glue. I waited 48 hours before seeing a doctor to see if my eyes would heal on their own, who sent me a prescription to hopefully treat the issue and also informed me I got pink eye from the lash extensions. This of course occurs in unsanitary environments that are not up to code. He did an eye wash, which although was unfortunately medically necessary, it runs the risk of the lashes coming off sooner. He said if it's not fully healed within 4 days, I need to see another specialist as it could result in something more serious like glaucoma. I returned to the salon after the doctor visit and pulled the manager aside quietly and discretely so as to not cause any embarrassment. In a respectful tone, I explained what had happened and showed her the discharge paperwork from the doctor. I requested her to refund the service for just the last extensions and showed her my eyes. She argued with me and refused to process the refund, and told me I could give her the medical bill and then they could talk about reimbursing for the medical bill and the prescription. I told her I came in to request a refund for the service, I obviously haven't been sent a medical bill yet as I had just gone in today. Because she continued to argue with me, I walked out mid conversation. She followed me to my car and offered to remove my lashes. Because the glue was cured as it had been more than 20 hours, and I had just undergone a medical eyewash, there were no more fumes or debris in my eyes continuing to burn the whites of my eyes. Additionally, it would be unwise of me to have a salon that I discovered was operating in unsanitary situations up to code, re-enter my eyeballs as I am recovering from the pinkeye they caused. I told her I wasn't comfortable with an untrained technician touching my eyes with the level of pain they were in, nor did I want to pay $120 for a service that someone was just offering to remove rather than refund. That would leave me without the eyelashes and without the money. She told me that because they perform the service, that was why they weren't willing to offer the refund. She also let me know that different people reacts different ways to different glues. To hear the level of ridiculousness come out of her mouth was just unacceptable. Everybody reacts the same way when glue is spilled in their eyeball. Everybody contracts pink eye when a salon uses tools that have the bacteria on them in your eyeball. It displayed to me a complete lack of industry knowledge, being that since the glue had cured but more than a day ago and I had received a medical eyewash, there were no longer fumes irritating the eyes, so removing the lashes I paid for would serve no medical purpose. To her credit, she followed me out to the car and offered to reimburse me for the medical bills. Update: I have submitted one of the medical bills to treat the chemical burn due to improper technique, and have been ghosted; Euphoria did not make good on their word as of right now.​ read more

I've been here once before and my nails (by Steve) were amazing! Like 15/10 amazing. I just came back to get a quick fill with a different tech and walked out feeling opposite as before. After trying to convince me to switch from basic polish to shellac, I'm told the color I picked only came in shellac even though I picked said color & shellac. No biggie at all, just feeling a little "upsold" but again, not a huge problem. After the gel has set and I get a closer look in my car, the nails are extremely thick and pretty lumpy. Very disappointed. I have been coming here for years and have been a very loyal customers bringing others and raving about the service. I have referred so many customers here over the years bringing this business more customers. I get shellac pedicures and manicures every few weeks like clockwork. I treated my niece, who is in town on vacation to her nails. She chose polish since the last time she got shellac it damaged her nails. The polish started peeling in less than 24 hours. I brought her back to get them repaired and was told I would have to pay again as " they don't guarantee polish". I was shocked that they would not offer to stand by their product or service even for a small fee. The manager wanted me to pay full price to get them done again. The manager was unwilling to offer anything to remedy this situation and seemed quite adamant that her refusal to do anything to keep a loyal customer was not a priority. I am sad I won't be coming back as this has been a place I frequent often but with so many other choices in the SA area I am confident I will find somewhere that will treat a customer with care. Me and my bf came to get our nails done here and that did such an amazing job!!! We both got pedicures, and the milk and honey treatment. And then I got almond shape dip nails, with 2 different alternating designs on each nail. And he got clear gel nails. The girl took her time with the design on my nails. And took her time making sure my nails were shaped perfectly. That meant a lot to me that she cared that my nails were done right. My bf bites his nails, and the girl who did his nails took are of him and was gentle with him, and I appreciate that soooo much. The pedicures for both of us were so niceee and we'll done. One of my toe nails was broken, and the girl was kind enough not to cut it, and worked around it and I felt so taken care of. I've been to ALOT of nail places. And this is the one place I was really taken care of and it has to do with how the people here care about there craft, and how good the final result looks. I DO NOT recommend this nail shop. I came and got a fill last Monday and by Monday evening I had a nail cracked. Mind you, this was my first fill and my full set came from them. I went back Wednesday to get the nail fixed and by Thursday the same nail was cracked AGAIN! By Saturday morning, the nail was completely broken OFF! I love the new salon is beautiful and super close to my house. I'm very upset that I had such bad experience, I initially came in for a French tip full set two weeks ago and my nails were not done right to begin. My thumb nail had a huge gap in it where I could fit my other nails In between, I previously had black polish and he didn't take it off right so you can see black lines under the clear part of my nails and my right hand nails were all longer then my left. He didn't take his time and rushed me thru the whole process. They did give me a 10% discount after I complaint and told me they'll fix my nail. Trying this new nail salon for the first time. It's nice inside. Service is slow but they are not busy. They asked me what I'd like to drink and I told them what I wanted but 20 mins later and I'm still waiting. My pedi water is Luke warm, not as warm as I like or as the other salons. Euphoria is a bright and shiny new salon on the already competitive Culebra road, but I promise it is a true gem. I was brought here off of the recommendation of a neighbor, and went to check any reviews on Facebook or Yelp. Being that it was only a few days since it had opened, I didn't expect much, but I saw that their Facebook was loaded with lots of posts keeping their future guest updated on their soft opening date, COVID-19 safety precautions, and other announcements. I knew that was a good sign, as I feel that small business should really stay on top of their social media game. So that right there was already a good indicator. I showed up to a salon on a Saturday afternoon, and was immediately transported into a luxurious paradise. I felt as if I were in a fancy ballroom. The salon was so beautiful decorated and inviting, with a very pleasant and clean smell. I was immediately helped at the front desk, and was asked to sign in at their electronic kiosk. I noticed right away that all of the employees were wearing face masks and there were plenty bottles of hand sanitizer to go around, so that was a plus. Once I checked in, I was escorted to their color-selecting area. All of their polishes and gels were so neatly organized and displayed, and they even had a foolproof system to ensure your technician had the right color. One of the employees helped myself and another customer out to pick a color, and gave us a small form to fill out with the type/color we wanted, and I was on my way. I was in there for a pedicure, so as soon as I had selected my color, I was seated in my chair. All of the chairs had liners on the tubs, so that was a good sign. I was handed a menu and selected the top tier (Euphoria) pedicure. And to my delight there was a drink menu with a huge variety of COMPLIMENTARY beverages, to include cocktails, wines, champagnes, and sodas! The bar was the central area of the building, so you could see the bartender whip up your concoction right before your eyes. I ordered the "mangolicious" and it was truly delightful. Once my water turned on, I relaxed and got ready for the pampering of a lifetime. My nail technician, Irene, came out right away and got to it. She brought over her supplies, and had everything organized and ready to go when she needed them. I was put at comfort when I saw that the items that would be touching my skin were sterilized/single-use. Irene was very pleasant and considerate to me as a customer, and always made sure that the water wasn't too hot or too cold, and that she wasn't hurting me in any way. We also got caught up in great conversation too, which is always great. Since I purchased the highest pedicure, I knew that I was probably going to be there for a while, but I did NOT expect to be there for as long as I did! It started off with a long soak, nail trim, cuticle trim, buffering and color, but the massages, wax, hot stone and hot towel treatments were just pure bliss. I really liked the fact that all of the menu items had their precise times listed (ie 20 minute soak, 20 minute massage, 10 minute stone) and that she set a timer for each step, which to me, as a customer, put me at ease knowing I was getting what I'm paying for. I feel that's better than not having a standardized time and just winging it. So, I was in for the long run. Once the first hour passed by, one of the ladies at the bar noticed my drink was empty and asked if I wanted another one. I declined an alcoholic drink and asked for a water, and was brought a beautiful glass of ice water with cucumber and lemon in it. They made sure that glass didn't go empty, and promptly refilled it for me twice. I even had the manager stop by my chair and ask if everything was great, and for honest feedback. She was very eager to please and told me, "if something isn't right I will do everything I can to fix it." That spoke volumes to me. After all was said and done, I spent a total of 2 hours getting a pedicure, and spent $85 before tax. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Their loyalty system also gives you a 20% discount on your birthday, and if you're military, they offer 10%. In my 30 years of life, I have never pledged my loyalty to one nail salon, and one alone. However, I plan on going to Euphoria from now on until I am physically removed from San Antonio. From start to finish, I was working with professionals who ran a very organized operation and walked out of there feeling absolutely rejuvenated. Make them your next salon trip! read more

Paid for two pedicures and manicures plus tip for technicians and spent $277 , nails cracked the following day and I was leaving to Vegas, came back Thursday and the owner was rude and questioned when I actually got them done, fortunately I had my receipt, only to find out they did have it in their system. Sunday one of the nails previously fixed cracked again, I returned today Monday the 9th, again owner is RUDE, gets upset because another customer discloses she is also there for her 3rd fix, and then we discussed their "convenience" fee and other random fees. Convenience fee is the change to pay with debit or credit. Not posted anywhere. He tells me it is past 7 days, well the 2nd crack occurred over the weekend, sorry I couldn't drop everything and come back to the salon for a repair to the same nail. Maybe do a quality job first time? I've gone to Labelle/Coco for a few years and regret going to Euphoria when they couldn't get me and my daughter in. AVOID THIS PLACE! Didn't get picture of the cracked nails, because I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought it was just a fluke or old dip powder. Pictures of proof of my visit on the May 1, proof I went to Vegas the following day, and proof I did return may 5. When it cracked two days later I couldn't get right back to the salon, so yes I did return may 9 for the 2nd repair. I went to euphoria because it's close to my house and I needed a fill. I've been to other salons just down the street but wasn't impressed . BUT at euphoria Everyone was friendly and the place is very clean and sanitary . Plus free drinks ! Tiffany took her time and did my nails so beautifully ! I hate thick nails and because of my nail shape (sharp almond ) some places leave them thick to prevent from breaking but they look weird and I hardly ever break them anyway.
