Stopped by for the first time this month and I already can't wait to go back! The service was good, the menu was full of great options and the place is really quaint/cute. There was a bit of a wait at the door but we visited during peak brunch time so that's to be expected. I ordered the monte cristo sandwich with a greek salad and enjoyed every last bite! There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu that it was genuinely difficult to choose. I brought my family out to Etta's for mother's day, and I do understand that it was busy. However, there were at least 3 waitresses in a small diner. My family and I had to wait over half an hour for drinks. When our food was delivered to the table I had received burnt toast, uncooked eggs and potatoes and so did the rest of my table. I do understand it's busy, but giving people food poisoning is concerning. I would rather my food take longer to cook than have uncooked eggs. Hoping someone had a better experience than my family did as spending $200 on food that I didn't eat was not a great experience. The staff were very polite however, I wish they were more focused on their tables. read more

This rating represents only my most recent visit, which after telling family how unimpressed we were, it was no surprise it's under new owners. We had visited (seemingly under past owners), and I would have given the food maybe 3-4 stars. Interesting combinations of food, decent prices and service. Now I don't want to rip on new owners, but some pretty unacceptable food and drink this last visit. The cream was curdled, luckily due to Covid we were on their 3 table sidewalk patio, so my gf dumped the coffee in a flower planter. Another gentleman sat down and asked if they were trying to trick him, as the sugar in the sugar bowl was rock solid!!! lol Menu had some pretty funny spelling errors, oh well it happens. I had the Spinach Pie Benedict- it was two eggs and hollandaise on top of a piece of spinach pie! Not bad, but the eggs were poached very hard. Stopped in for lunch, we had ordered 2 Greek salads and soup. Forty five minutes later we still didn't have our food and couldn't understand why. Other reviews I've seen here indicated it wasn't worth waiting for so I left. read more

We went there for lunch I ordered a simple Greek salad with chicken. Our waitress couldn't get the order straight. I had send it back 3 times. I only wanted dressing on the side, no onions & green peppers. The whole time she kept laughing it off, she was acting very friendly like she was my friend or something?? I'm sure she was looking for a better tip I don't know. My husband ordered a hamburger no pickles. She couldn't get that right either. My salad took a beating it was ok my husbands burger was good but nothing to lure us back there. Service was terrible but the burger was served hot. Not worth the money I have eaten better food elsewhere for a lot less money. read more

This place was my all time favourite restaurant. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We ordered take out last night and found out that the business has new owners. EXTREMELY disappointing. The food was horrible, in fact I never even took a bite. I took one look at the gyro and could tell that it wasn't the same amazing flavourful food that I had in the past. My husband took one bite of the gyro and threw it in the garbage. So disappointed. Do not order expecting the food to meet the expectations of the old Etta's. read more

We have been to Etta's twice now since it has opened. I have had the Greek Eggs Bennie both visits. It is amazing and full of grilled veggies, topped with feta. My husband always has to help finish it. read more

Came home to Windsor for a few days to spend time with my family, and decided to come here today for lunch with my mother, aunt and grandmother. What a great decision! This place is so quaint, and since coming home to visit a few times, this the first time I was able to try this place since it opened here, and it's so close to where my parents live! The waitress working today was funny and personable. I was browsing through the menu and the Greeklish Grilled cheese with the Greek salad. I'm glad I ordered that, the entire table had decided on something different until it was my turn; we had all ordered the same thing! The salad was to die for. This was the best greek salad I have ever had, and they didn't skimp on the feta cheese at all! The sandwich itself was delicious, perfectly crisp bread and melted feta cheese with the tomatoes. This is my new staple when I come here for sure! Next time I'm back home to visit family, I'm definitely stopping here! read more

I have been to this restaurant over 8 times and every single time my visit has been excellent. Food, service, homey and enjoyable. I already feel like a regular since going a few short times. I would love to try everything on their menu. Their soups are excellent, greek salads so good and generous with contents. The owners always come out to make sure you are happy with your meal and visit. I have tried their Greek grilled cheese and it is so so good. read more

If you like eggs Benny you'll like this place. The problem is you'll have to come back 10 times to try all of them. Wife had Benny on Peameal with potatoe pancakes. Hollandaise was nice and creamy but not heavy. Potatoe pancakes were great and nice and hot. I had a meat lovers casserole that had loads of cheese, bacon, ham and two types of sausages over a load of hash Browns and eggs. Sausage was really good. I forgot to ask if that was their Greek sausage that was on the Menu. I couldn't believe they offered us dessert (baclava) after stuffing us like that for breakfast ;-) Only thing better than food was service. Worst service I have ever seen. The waitresses don't know the menu and if you say the greek name they need to see the menu. Maybe they should invest in training so they actually know the menus. The greek salad had no onions. On the greeklish salad, we ordered no onions and onions came. We told them we ordered no onions so they brought it back with most picked off, but the ones underneath still there. Didn't get the bottle of water until late. Soup came 5 minutes earlier than salad. Dip is supposed to come first, but didn't. Manager picks and chooses who gets dessert and who doesn't. What a joke, will never go back. Dip was salty as hell, and salad had a pool of dressing and feta was hard. Entrees were ok. Big portions. read more

The food here is delicious! I have had the greek salad (with and without chicken), lemon-rice soup, greek grilled cheese (so good), greek burger, and the chicken wrap (not the chicken gyro). The burger was very good just messy. My fave is the chicken greek salad. It's large and comes with toasted pita slices. I have actually only been for lunch and the have additional authentic greek dishes at dinner time apparently, which I've heard good things about. They're only open for dinner certain days of the week. There's no parking other than the street parking out front which is free. read more
