I was driving down U.S. 11 through Edinburg, VA - and saw a sign on the side of the road for a Hobby Shop. I'm always interested and excited to visit Hobby Shops and Game Stores - so I pulled in to check it out.
I could not find a way in to the building - all the doors were locked. I noticed the phone number on the roadside sign - and called the number. After navigating through their phone tree - someone answered the phone. I advised that I was attempting to visit their Hobby Shop - but that it was all locked up. The person advised me that it was because the person who runs the shop was under a truck - working on a truck in the rear building where they run an auto repair service. I was told they would pull the person from under the truck and have the person come out to the Hobby Shop building.
I declined, I wasn't interested in interrupting someone's repair.
Just be aware that if you would like to visit the ETS Hobby Shop - you may encounter challenges actually getting inside the store to visit. You might want to call ahead and check. The challenges of running a small business without proper staffing.
