Until recently, this gas station on North Craig was (at least outwardly, based on signage) a…read moreSunoco. Over the last two months or so, they've begins switching out for full 7-Eleven gear inside, and now the signs outside even (halfway) match. So I guess it's a 7-Eleven now. It's got all of your usual 7-Eleven goodies -- hot coffee, donuts, pizza slices, a lunch cooler. This location even offers taquitos (do other 7-Elevens do this?? I don't know). They have a good selection of drinks, snacks, and some food items, most of which are a better price than the CVS down the street. Not THAT much better (an employee tried to tell me once that the $7.99 DiGiorno pizza I had picked up at CVS was only $4 in their cooler, which was not true -- it was $6.99 ‍), but still better. I mostly use this gas station for slushees. 7-Eleven has replaced Sunoco's pineapple slushee with Mountain Dew, which is great. They also still have Coca Cola, Cherry, and Blue (possibly blue raspberry, but definitely Blue). Delicious and refreshing as long as you drink them before they melt into a pool of radioactive-looking syrup at the bottom of your Big Gulp cup, as most slushees are. Staff seems friendly and every time I've stopped in they've been wearing masks, so I have no complaints. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Not the place for coffee...which is sort of a HUGE reason to go 7-11 to begin with. You have your…read morechoice of three types...decaf and two house blends, both of which were at the very bottom of the reservoir. Barely got enough out of the one to fill my cup, and I was treated to the worst tasting, coffee-ground-laden coffee I've had in a while. The seasonal pumpkin and French vanilla were empty, but I was told that they don't have those in the morning. Coffee is a staple in the morning for convenience stores...this one doesn't seem to get that.

This is the phone robot of a retail store, not my credit card company. In fact, even if you do enter the information, you do not get to speak to anyone. You have to leave a message? So I left a message asking if my UPMC insurance works for their pharmacy and how much it would be without insurance if they don't "before I drive all the way to this location." (It was the holiday and so many pharmacies have to be open in so much of a radius, so my normal spots were not open.) I got a call an hour later (that went straight to voicemail somehow). All the message said was "yes, we're open until 6 p.m." Yes, what? I never even asked what time they were open? What kind of response is this? It didn't answer my questions. Guess what? Not only does UPMC NOT work at CVS, but no one told me they had a lunch break. So I drive 20 minutes sick and end up having to wait 15 minutes in the store. All they had to say for their message was "the clerk must not have known." Wow. What kind of healthcare is this? Good grief. I will never go to a CVS, even if it's the last drug store on Earth. Holiday or not, these are people we are trusting with our lives. Scary.

Their self checkout has a lot of issues with only one working. They should also set up a distinct…read moreline for the kiosks only, because right now some people think everyone has to stay in one line for both the front cashier and self checkout, which is not a good use of anyone's time. Paper bags at each kiosk are helpful too. Plus, their front automatic doors have been out of service for a while now. This CVS is falling apart. Finally, they need to restock on a lot of items inside. The only positive is the parking lot. If one side is full, you can parallel park on the other side, still within the lot.

Market St Grocery - This market is wonderful. Such a great addition to the downtown area.

The salad I had was fantastic and I enjoyed it on the picnic tables outdoors. Trying to enjoy outdoor dining while the weather is still warm enough.

They served Collefrisio wines and had great cheese plates. My friends and I would go for their happy hour for half priced glasses of Riserva wine. It was a very laid back atmosphere. I don't think the wine bar has reopened, but I visited recently for a coffee. De Fer Coffee & Tea is now the coffee provider inside the grocery store. I guess I haven't been there for a while, because there were a lot of changes! The macaron stand isn't there any more, and they have seats instead. I was so glad that I took my laptop with me, because once I saw the seats I decided to stay and work. While sipping on my oat milk latte, I watched all the Downtown work people come and go ordering custom sandwiches and hot foods for lunch. They have a good selection of food and the prices are reasonable. I remember one time ordering salmon, veggies, and something else and it was only about $10-$12. They served it to you on a plate, and I ate it in the wine bar. I didn't eat anything on this most recent trip, but I enjoyed my latte from De Fer. I'm glad to know they have seats now because I definitely plan to eat/work there more often. They also have a restroom downstairs that is kept clean.
