I can only speak on behalf of the Lehighton location. I'm going to give this place a 3.5 "middle of the road" review because your experience here will be a result of who you interact with, which is not in your control. I had the opportunity to experience dealing with several staff there in the 5 years I have been going there but I won't mention specific names; overall, I like that ethos is an option for me because where I live is rural and generally takes 35-45 minutes to get to a more populated area with psychiatry options. Ethos is only a 15 minute drive for me, and there are only 2 other nearby options, and both are less then ideal in comparison. Ethos is situated in a building with modern accommodations, has updated decor, a large waiting room, has sound machines outside of each therapy room for both privacy and calm effect, and is always clean. They have ketamine therapy available however this service could be better due to the fact that you are entirely on your own in the process vs. having a psychiatrist, therapist, or spiritual advisor of some sort present even at all to help guide you on your journey. This is something that could have helped me be successful in my treatment during my experience however was not offered. Also, the treatments are not covered by insurance and are very expensive. There is a discounted rate if you qualify but still costly. Outside of ketamine treatments, I have gone there for medication management as well as therapy. They have very strict rules for being on time or you get kicked out of therapy. I have seen psychiatrists there who have made me feel inferior as well as ones who have noticeably rushed through sessions, one that cared a little more then the others or so it seemed, and one that was mediocre. Overall the staff is friendly and accomodating but only enough to provide basic care. Nothing I'd consider above and beyond. At one point art therapy was an optional program as well which was nice. read more
