I wish I did not go to this auto body shop. Someone crashed into my parked car. I moved to the area recently at that time and didn't know a good reliable auto body shop. The insurance company from the other person wanted to call my car a total loss because of how expensive the auto body shop quoted them. Even though someone else was at fault, this led to a series of events where 2 years from the accident, I'm still battling with headaches from insurance companies. It is essential to communicate honestly without being confrontational. Reymond called me at around 7:23 pm on December 20 from 914-219-4332. Apologizing about the situation with my vehicle and the terrible experience I had underwent. Reymond said that he was high in his position and called many shots. I thought it was strange when he told me that he had no idea what was going on with my vehicle until now. How is it that someone in his position had no idea what was going on? Did it never occur to him to question Rick about doing work on vehicle off the books that was claimed a total loss?  Reymond also mentioned to me that I had achieved my objective. Whose objective is it to have their vehicle claimed as a total loss or to be put under extreme emotional distress? I would also like to mention the many times Reymond confessed to me that the Ethos body shop team has bad communication within themselves. Says a lot since the owner never actually reached out to me. Before being immature about a negative comment and trying to make yourself the victim, think about how you can better communicate with your team first so that incidents like mine NEVER happen again. During the whole meeting with Rick, he was very insistent that I give him my check because according to him insurance was not going to pay the body shop for the estimate and storage which was for a week and the money from my check would be deducted to the body shop, for $4,800 which Rick lied about. After his failed attempt to steal my check, he later said that the only way to get my vehicle back would be by towing it out. After so much back and forth, I was finally given my vehicle back with unauthorized work done. Do not bring your car here. I have never experienced such disrespect and complete lack of workmanship until I (naively) brought my car here in hopes of it being repaired to "pre-accident conditions - or better" (their words, not mine). It's worse now. In July of '22, I was t-boned whilst driving my grandmothers car (at the time) and the first shop I brought it to was unable to conduct aluminum repairs, so I brought it here. After being seemingly mislead by the "4.9" on Google Reviews, I had the car towed to Ethos instead. Everything seemed fine. I spoke to Sebastian (no longer works there), who said I had just a few things to sign and things would get moving from there. Contracts were quickly sent, an estimate was written up within a day or two. I had nothing to worry about, right? It wasn't until August that things started to run amuck. Firstly, the estimate was missing many parts. Most notably the exhaust, which had been slightly bent in the collision, and was nowhere to be found... and it was visibly damaged. By November, we had been going back and forth over text about parts, time, and having the entirety of the blame be out on the then manager Darren (also no longer works there). It had gotten to the point of sourcing parts for them since they claimed they were unable to get any due to the parts shortage, right? On a car that is no longer manufactured... right? In December, I got the text I'd been waiting for... it was (mostly) done! This was partially exacerbated by my grandmother having to be hospitalized at the time, but, as they claimed, the only thing missing from the car were parking sensor, but they'd be in within "a few weeks." Sounded good to me! As soon as I get in the car, I noticed alignment data pages on the passenger seat... with most of the boxes in the red. Sebastian quickly took them back for "filing" purposes and due to the excitement of having the car back after roughly 6 months, I thought nothing of it. As soon as I rolled off of the lot, there was a loud, persistent clunking sound, and I felt like I was all over the road. I quickly made my way to Mavis Discount Tire up the road since Joe has always been reliable. The noise turned out to be not one, but two large screws in a couple of the tires... cool. Moreover, I was told the passenger tie-rod was completely snapped AND there was "too much play in my control arms" - a repair they couldn't conduct themselves and claimed to be quite costly. Turns out they were right, since I was hit with a $2,000 bill for repair at a mechanic, the only one to find the issue, was able to do so about a year later. To this day, I am still having issues with the drivetrain. I was never contacted about the sensors, the many texts and calls I made detailing the laundry list of issues still present in the car fell on deaf ears, and I seem to be finding more and more concerning issues everyday! It was found that the car was fitted with the wrong bumper, meaning the "sensors" wouldn't even fit to begin with. The paint work is genuinely laughable, with tons of imperfections and debris, as well as looking like a completely different color than the rest of the car depending on lighting. Tons of rattles and loose trim pieces within the car, all which were never there prior to bringing it here. But what about that "pre-accident condition or better," right? Even when I spoke to the owner on the phone, Matthew Beobide, not only was I called a liar, but I was talked down to (quite aggressively) under the guise of his "20 years in the industry." He went as far as to call the Cadillac Dealership who found the issues with the bumper liars, too! As well as his own parts supplier who showed me there are multiple bumpers available for the vehicle - and this one was wrong. I mentioned the lack of work on the drivetrain, only to be met with claims that they "did an alignment"... meanwhile, the shop who repaired the control arms said they were, verbatim, "destroyed," with such damage only being caused by an accident. By the end, we had agreed to fix all problems, with no sight of reimbursement from them or insurance (due to contracts signed), and call it a day. This was in April... I have not heard back since. I later came to find out the part shortage excuse, as expected, was a total cop out. Turned out the vehicle has a certification which permits not just the repair, but also the purchase of parts. This is why I had to find the side panel on eBay for them, since they were not permitted to purchase the part, and therefore should not have conducted the repair in the first place. Like I said before, do not bring your car here. I've heard and learned a lot about this place, not just from my own experience, but from what I've heard other shops in town. I wish I could say they wronged their rights - but they've seemingly ghosted me instead. Save yourself the trouble, there are better shops... especially for Teslas, especially since Ethos is no longer certified. read more

They did an excellent job restoring my car to the pristine condition it was in before the accident. Dan and Matt are honest, meticulous, thorough and communicate very often and effectively. I brought them my absolutely filthy - it's been used as basically a farm truck for two years - little Chevy Spark to be cleaned up before surprising a 16 year old with it as his first car. Even though I hadn't been able to plan in advance and make an appointment, Luis the manager couldn't have been more helpful, fit us in and just a few hours later, I picked up a car that was sparkling inside and out, smelled great (replacing the previous overwhelming scent of donkeys!) and renewed all over. I didn't really have time to do any repairs to the paint scraped off in back after an encounter with the corner of a barn while backing up once but Luis and the gentleman who did the detailing worked some sort of magic that darkened it so it blended with the rest of the car's black paintwork. Couldn't have been happier with the job they did - at a great price. The whole team was friendly and it was just a very positive experience from beginning to end. read more

I had a curb that jumped out of no where and took the whole front end off my 2020 civic coupe . I brought to Eothos and was treated like I was driving a Ferrari . they inspected the car and advise me to leave the car so I didnt do any more damage or risk my safety. Loaner cars were great. And very clean. Office staff top-notch .The text system they have in place to advise you progression of the work is very good. I was never guessing what was going on. I am really disappointed with the service that I received at Ethos Auto Body. After reading positive reviews online, as well as being referred by my dealership, I came into Ethos on a Monday to see if they could provide an estimate for my damage car. My Ford had been hit in a parking lot and had pretty severe damage done to the right rear panel and camera. It was important that I received an estimate in a timely manner, so I could work with the people who had hit it to manage insurance and payment. I met with Matt on Monday who looked at the car and said he could give a rough estimate to me either that night or at the latest on Tuesday morning. They took down all information including my vehicles VIN #. Monday pm, Tuesday and Wednesday passed with no call or any forms of communication. I then called the office Thursday morning and spoke to an employee that told me he would look in the system to find the estimate and call me back by the end of the day. And surprise, no word from him. I then called Friday and Saturday and spoke to a woman at the front desk who said Matt & Co were out but would give me a call back ASAP with an estimate. And again, I received no follow up from Ethos. I finally was able to get in touch with Matt on Monday after several attempts that day. He apologized for the back and forth, gave me his personal # and said it would be sent over in in the next hour. I did not hear from him, and so I texted him at the end of where he responded "finishing it now. Will email it shortly." About a week and half later, I still have not received any email, text or any other forms of communication in regards to my estimate. I am not entirely sure why Ethos and their employees feel as though lying to customers is a suitable solution for buying more time. Not only does this kind of behavior reveals the poor communication, but also demonstrates the opaque and dishonest relationship that Ethos Auto Body has with their clientele. read more

Brought my newly acquired vehicle to them for an insurance photo inspection as they were on the list of vendors from my insurance company. A short time later I received an email from my insurance company stating the inspection hadn't been submitted. After NUMEROUS visits and phone calls to the shop, I was ASURED that it would be submitted. Well, I received notice from my insurance co that my physical damage coverage had been DROPPED due to them NEVER receiving the inspection from Ethos. I brought my vehicle to another shop and they instantly submitted the photos. Not sure why Ethos wasn't able to do the same and feel that if they weren't able to perform this service, they should have told me that during one of my NUMEROUS visits and calls. I was driving around for a period of time thinking that my vehicle was covered in the event of an accident but thanks to the negligence of this shop, it was not. They have shown a lack of effort or concern for this service that they are supposed to provide so I would be VERY weary about bringing my vehicle there for any kind of significant work that would need to be done. read more
