In April we experienced the first warm day so we turned on the AC and realized it was only blowing…read morewarm air. In my past experience with the unit, it simply needed a capacitor replacement. I contacted Oasis and Kolby and Mark came out. Kolby quickly assessed the situation and determined it had a leak somewhere within the unit as it had 0% refrigerant. We discussed some alternatives about either putting a 'bandaid' on the unit or a full replacement. I chose to replace the unit as it was at the end of its life cycle. Kolby discussed a GE heat pump in which I elected to go with. The crew showed up on the scheduled time and began the removal of the old unit and installation of the new unit. The install went as planned and was finished within one day. I was next contacted by for my pre inspection prior to finalizing the city permit. The inspection was done by a third party and it passed without issues. The great thing about Oasis is that it's local and not a giant HVAC chain. This allows for more time and better customer service. I would recommend Oasis to anyone needed HVAC service or replacement. The technician contacted me each day with updates on when he would be coming to do work, and with updates about the job. When the job was completed, I wasn't home to do a test, so I did a test when I was able to, and found that one of the items wasn't the way I had wanted it. QCE came out right away and adjusted the wiring to do exactly what I asked for. A month later, one of the GFCI outlets failed for some reason (probably me). I contacted QCE, and they came out at their next opening to examine the circuit and replace the faulty plug right away. The technician sent out a colleague the next day to finish up the job and make sure everything was working exactly the way I wanted. I would definitely recommend QCE for any electrical jobs you might have. They are honest, trustworthy, won't surprise you with any hidden costs, will finish the job even if there is a delay for whatever reason, and will return if the job isn't exactly the way you want. Kyle's brother calls me the next day upset that he put the wrong address, blaming google maps for having glitches. An hour later he shows up and an hour later he calls upset that it took longer than expected (I think he was upset that he got lost) and he is going to charge more. After talking to Kyle we negotiated the additional price down. Next day I found out from my tennents that they can't attach the hose to the focet because it's visible way close to the wall. Basically it's worst than then a rookie job. Kyle agreed and said he will have someone come to fix it.
