BS diagnostics, poor service, and simply tried to rip off a consumer. Tech recommendations were a full system replacement with not clear explanation of why it needed to be replaced. I sent an inquiry to Brisk and shortly received a reply. Appointment booked. Had the pleasure of meeting Kyle who owns the company. Expressed my concerns and issues. Kyle listened and addressed all of them. Did the diagnostics and explained what was going on and what needed to be corrected. He explained what he was doing and what the numbers meant on his gauges. I could not have asked for a better experience with Kyle and his company. Kyle's knowledge in his field is top notch. The world needs more people like him! In the end, Kyle replaced a part. First they told me I needed to expand my ductwork, that the unit was too much for the current set up. I said, you mean the unit you guys sold us? That was going to be around $17 grand. After getting past that nonsense he tells me it was going to cost $3800, minimum. Told monarch I was getting a second opinion, that's way too much money for a new unit. Called Lara's, they came the next morning and for $890 I had my ac back. Most of that was Freon. Both workers were very polite and had everything fixed and tidy in about an hour.
