Our couch is really solid in its frame and even more comfy to sit on. Definitely the best couch we've ever bought. The service was great too. I found a couch I liked and ordered it online. They told me my couch would be delivered on Saturday between 3-5PM. They did not lie. Precisely at 3pm, their truck showed up with two friendly/professional gentleman and they loaded it up a flight of stairs and into my living room no problem. It was so quick and hassle free. Again, I'm no furniture critic but I am a very happy customer.

We happened to be stopped at the light by NAS Whidbey and I chanced to look over and said "Hey, Furniture World!" We had recently visited the Furniture World in Bremerton but weren't able to find any living room set that slammed our doors, so I was reluctant to go in when my husband suggested it. Now, I'm SO glad we did. We met Shawn, who was super helpful and gave us the layout of the store and then let us look around. When he came to check on us, I shared with him the debacle we had with Ashley and he asked which set we had been looking at. Fortunately I had taken a picture of it at the time and was able to give him the name... ..and as it turned out, he had the set RIGHT THERE in the showroom. Virtually brand-spanking new! He didn't have the chair or the ottoman there, but was able to find out that there were chairs in the distribution center that could be delivered to the Bremerton store (closer to us) by December 5th, and the ottoman would likely be available sometime around Jan 6-11. And the sofa and loveseat...he offered to let us buy the set right there off the floor! His team meticulously plastic wrapped the furniture and had it ready for us when we came through the next day on our way home. We were able to get one piece in our SUV and the "boys" (his helpers) were able to help my husband load the other piece on the roof! Shawn clearly understands customer service, so much that we would likely consider driving to Oak Harbor again (quite a bit out of our way and a ferry ride to boot) if we are in search of furniture. I have to write this review now, even though we haven't received the chair or ottoman yet. I just KNOW that, if there any delays, Shawn will get in touch with us right away and help make good on our order!

HomeGoods is owned by the same company that owns TJ Maxx and Marchalls. Here are a couple of main differences between HomeGoods and other discount stores ('+' for a pro; '-' for a con): +Prices are great at HomeGoods but they don't (seem to) sell things just because they were able to buy random closeout items. Each item you find on the shelf, you can find multiple of them. If you go to other stores, including its sister stores and definitely Ross, you often find random assortments of things. +HomeGoods, at least at this location, is very well stocked with food items. I was able to find Italian cookies I could not find anywhere else in town. -HomeGoods does not sell apparel. I'm sure I will come back here often.
