Lovely little Italian restaurant cum brocante by Parc de Eaux Vives. We first spotted this restaurant after a walk in the park and their terrace was so enticing that we had to come back. We had dinner there on a drizzly Monday evening and started with a couple of wines by the class on the terrace (we simply said "vin rouge" and "vin blanc" and didn't know what we were getting, but they served us very nice wines at a reasonable price). I had a pasta dish with octopus, which was delicious, and my hubby had steak, which he really enjoyed as well. At some point, it started to rain so we had to move inside for our meal and things got more interesting. They have fantastic vintage stuff inside, including a gorgeous lemon yellow Vespa, LV luggage, and as it turns out, the bar cart of our dreams! A couple of free limoncellos later, we were carrying home our gorgeous new bar cart (the damage was 200
CHF but well worth it, as it's the most unique wooden one we've ever come across!). All in all, it was a 300 CHF night out, but the memories are priceless! read more
