UPDATE 3/31/2026: The tech was supposed to be at my house at 8:00am, so I didn't burn a whole day…read moreof work again. I told them I need to leave my house by 9:30am to open my store at 10:00am. I get a text at 8:30am telling me the tech is on the way. I call in and talk to sone guy, and tell them he was supposed to be here at 8:00am, and was told he's still about 45 minutes away. The guy on the phone said he didn't realize I was in EST. I made the comment that it's always an excuse with them, his response was, "This is the 1st time I've talked to you."... True but I've spoken with many there, and they always have an excuse.
I am given a choice, either wait or cancel. The arrogance of the guy on the phone, I told him to cancel, and I'll find another company to fix my generator.

I'm sorry, some of us have work, and can't drop what we are doing to be at your beckon call. They rescheduled for Tuesday (3/31) as the first call... He is supposed to be here at 8:00am. I'm not holding out high hopes... We'll see.

UPDATE 3/20/2026: I guess they are going come out next week to double check that there's an issue. Wow... Let's hurry up and wait to get the issue with my very expensive whole home generator. I have no idea if or when it will be fixed.

UPDATE 3/16/2026: They finally came out, and needed to order a part. That was 2 weeks ago have not heard from them. I had a power outage last night, and was standing out in the rain and wind at 2:00am to manually turn on my generator. Then I had to take the panel off this morning to manually flip the transfer switch back to city power after I turned the generator off. The original issue happened on Jan 22nd, and it's now March 16th. I'm coming on 3 months of not having a properly working system. I just hung up with them, and they said they are waiting to hear back, and will call me tomorrow. At this point I wish I could give them less than 1 star.

3 weeks ago, my generator turned on, and it transferred over to generator power. I never lost city power. The power company came and tested to make sure it wasn't on their side.
I called Cove to come out and figure out what is going on. I was transferred to another company called Pioneer, and was told it would be 2 weeks before anyone would be able to get out. I ended up having to pay a local electrician to figure out what was going on, and get me back on city power.
The cold and snow hits, and I get a text from Pioneer, that they are cancelling my service, it's going to be the end of March when they have time to come out and service my generator. Then a couple of days later I get a text that they have opening s at the end of Feb. There was no contact number, and no indication that I can respond to the text. I just took a call from Pioneer to see if I still needed service. Yes, because my generator is still broken.
When I originally called, I'm not sure she understood that things were broken, and that the maintenance call was just an add on while they are here. Now that I've hung up with her, I'm not sure she still understood that my system is broken.
If I hadn't paid out of my own pocket I would have been on generator for well over a month waiting for them to come out and fix my generator.
This is a complete and total failure in service. After they come out and fix the generator, I will be looking for a new company to take over my service contract.
