Very honest and knowledgeable handyman. I have used Chance on two different occasions and would trust him with any project. As a matter of fact, the second project he has never done before but his humility to learn and be thorough to execute the project as if it was on his own home was refreshing. Takes a lot of pride in his work and is very honest. Will use him again. read more

Needed to get a electrical outlet put in as well as have a light fixture taken a look at. Spoke with chance who was polite/responsive and scheduled a time. He had given an estimation of the time/costs for the electrical outlet installation, and his thoughts on the potential causes of the light fixture issue before the coming to the house. The estimation and time to install the outlet was very accurate and he did an excellent job. He also gave great advice regarding the fixture and let me know what parts I needed to get/replace to get it working again. As soon as I can find the right parts I will certainly be having him come back to install them. If you are looking for a reliable/capable/honest electrician look no further than chance. read more

He responded very promptly, and with a quick estimate. I was a rather taken aback initially by his estimate being significantly higher than I'd hoped. Then another came in significantly higher yet, and I realized I had to swallow a dose of realism. I'm hopeful. read more

Chance was fantastic! He installed a large sail shade cloth over our driveway for us. Our previous two were too small and kept sagging. Holes were filled in from old hardware and he didn't leave a mess. Great value, very responsive and reliable. I will be using him in the future for other handyman needs. Highly recommend! We recently moved into a new home and had a lot of furniture that needed putting together, mirrors and curtain rods hanging, etc. After sending out requests for help on Yelp, Chance Coleman responded quickly and we discussed the work needed and the price. The price was reasonable considering how much time and effort goes into building some of these flat-packed items (they're ridiculously designed in some cases!), and especially since I have a crippled back and can't lift heavy things. We arranged a time and he had a cancellation which meant he could move the work up by several days - awesome! Chance and Kelsie showed up on time and, after discussing specifically what we wanted, immediately set to work. They worked like machines - seemingly non-stop - until everything was completed. They frequently checked in to see if the mirrors were in the place we wanted, etc., which was very much appreciated. After several hours, they were all done and everything looked amazing - and they even offered to take away all of the packing materials, too! What a bonus and a lovely gesture. I can't recommend Chance (& Kelsie!) enough and I will definitely be using them again when more projects come to light. Try them out - you will not be disappointed! read more

Hired Chance to install an outlet behind a wall-mounted TV. It was a tricky project due to the way he had to reroute the wiring, but he figured it out and did an amazing job! He also added an outlet outside on our patio. I'd definitely recommend him and will probably bring him back for future projects! read more

Chance installed a new exhaust fan in our downstairs bathroom ceiling. He was on time for both the estimate and installation appointments. He gave us a very reasonable estimate. I highly recommend Coleman's Handyman Service. I contacted Chance through Yelp and he responded quickly. Chance was great he is nice and was helpful on getting power restored to garage and bedroom thank you Sir.

I finally got it right and picked the correct person for the job. I had several installation and repair jobs that had piled up that needed to be done. I chose Coleman's Handyman based on the few Yelp reviews available and his response to my request for a bid. He answered and we set up a time to begin. More importantly, he was a few minutes early. He went right to work and completed everything, including a few extra ones I discovered as we did a walk-through. I had an electrical problem that he crawled up in the attic to fix. I was impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. He didn't try to tack on more and actually discouraged me from spending more on things I thought I needed that he was able to fix. He did a first-rate professional job and was reasonably priced, coming in within in the bid range he offered based on my description. I don't need a handyman often but it's comforting to know I don't have to wonder who I will call next time. It's also nice to know someone I can refer to friends and family that I can trust to do the job right. read more
